Absolutely adore Ragstock. This store is the main reason why I come to Ann Arbor. The staff is truly amazing, prices are always on a low end, and the clothing is actually good quality. Recently my boyfriend and I had an emergency and left important belongings behind. They searched the store and found it hours later and still called us back making sure we knew where it was and it was safe with them until we arrived. Recommend this store to anybody looking for stylish clothes at a place where the staff is truly friendly and filled with good vibes.

I love this place!!!! A lot of great finds here. I bought a cool embroidered blouse and some vintage sweaters, all came out to be under $100.

Also, I wish I had a better way to describe this person, but in the least creepy way, an amazing thin, somewhat tall, blonde woman helped me out and the service was outstanding! Fantastic store with a mixture of predominantly second hand recycled and upcycled clothing, but also a good selection of contemporary clothing. Extensive selection at very good prices.

Got the *cutest* butterfly Hawaiian shirt for a girls night out downtown, that was tropical themed. Love this place!

It has been years since I have been in the store. I popped in last week and was so pleasantly surprised. Such a fun and eclectic assortment of new and vintage recycled items. It brought back all the awesome vibes. The staff was always available no matter where in the shop you were. I look forward to my next visit.

One of my favorite clothing stores in downtown Ann Arbor (second only to Sam's just down the street from Ragstock!).  I have bought from this place an awesome pair of Levi's camoflouge pants ($15), a black nylon flight jacket (new, $22), several used but not used-up flannel shirts ($10), a few short & longsleeve checkered button up (brand new $15), and a brand new Rothco brand camoflouge t-shirt for $5!
This store reminds me of The Cat's Meow which was on State Street, just off of Liberty. Used and new military-type clothing, punk & new wave fashion, and hipster clothes too! Palatable music playing and mostly non-pretentious employees here at Ragstock. I love it!

Love the recycled/resale items here! I always find cute dresses, comfy sweatshirts and unique finds. Especially love when they have a 30% off sale!

Girls and boys lookin for old school flannel shirts? This is your store! 15.00 a piece cool colors, real cotton. Shop here before you pay that 40 to 60 a shirt on line and in stores.

Some people are saying this is a thrift store. Its not , its overstock . Ive not come across anything pre used. I wouldn't buy leather like material from there , it tends to crack easy. Always good deals. Super trans friendly. Staff is nice.

Very great selection of bucket hats, windbreakers. Huge clearance section. All things from Rompers to Onesies.

The cashier was super helpful and even helped me choose a dress because I was by myself. The clothes are very cute and unique. It was also good and clean.

The workers here are always so nice and funny, one of my favorite places to shop for affordable clothes. Plus they deal with the absolute hell of undergrads during halloween... during a pandemic... They deserve a medal and a raise tbh!

They are fantastic company to deal with!  I needed a large quantity (80) of Hawaiian shirts for a team spirit thing and they were able to get them for us on time!  The shirts were a great quality too!

Great experience! Huge selection of vintage clothing to pick from! They had a large selection if halloween costumes, which a lot of the near buy students seemed to be checking out. The staff was friendly and the store was very clean!

Staff was engaging, knowledgable and very helpful. Had some questions trying to figure out which product to buy (as a gift) and they helped me solve my conundrum perfectly. Also, they have tremendous taste and styles in tattoos.

Fun place to shop for soft, vintage, or wacky stuff. Some printed graphical tees, lots of costumes (coming up on Halloween here), flannels, jackets, sweaters. Some real cool finds here. Not very pricey either.

This place is awesome.  I don't know what the other commenters are talking about, but the people there have been really nice to me every time I go.  The last time I was in there, one of the employees noticed I was having trouble and took me to a different part of the store where I immediately found what I was looking for.

The selection in this place is unreal.  They have ugly holiday sweaters, ugly 80 sweaters, and a bunch of stuff that's just plain ugly.  I'm only half joking; much of what they carry is really ugly.  But it's cool, old, vintage, retro, ugly awesome.  The good kind of ugly.  The kind of ugly that says you are confident, wacky, and amazing and these lime green metallic jeans are proof.

This place has great clothes. Unusual, unique and standard. Only problem I had is nothing fit me!  I'm a true hour glass - double Ds, small waist, round badonkadonk! Size 14/16.  So truthful, I have trouble finding anything to fit me, period.

As a bigger woman, I use to dread coming here with my friends and teenager. but I had a visit today and the store has changed quite a bit. There is way more room to walk around, and I noticed there was larger sizes to choose from. PLEASE keep incorporating more plus sizes.

Overpriced IMO.  What's with all the men's clothes being completely amd hopelessly wrinkled.  It's like they jam as many items as they can into an industrial dryer and leave the bundle in there to cure.  I will say, good selection of denim jackets, and those are reasonably priced.  Those earned them the four stars.

Not the greatest selection (though maybe that's just for men). It's a couple days until August and almost all the shirts (that aren't graphic Ts) are flannel 🤔.  But the layout is great and the staff is very helpful and friendly and they do have some cool stuff

Unique downtown store. The t-shirts were randomly expensive with most being $15-$20 (June), but there are a few good bargain finds for things like sweaters. I got a blanket for $18, and it's pretty great. Wish the guys section was bigger

This is a retro thrift store that sells clothes from the Gen x- millennial time period the only reason I did not give this store a 5 star rating is because it is a bit pricy for used clothes. Everything here is very well restored or in good condition and is a great place to go clothes shopping. This store is also not very crowded and with the ongoing pandemic This may be a good place to do your shopping.

Odd spot with fun, weird clothing options mixed in with some normal stuff. Definitely more of a place I'd visit for Halloween than for everyday wear, but it's fun to browse and see what you can find.

Been years since I've gone here. I don't remember it being a fully womans store tho but didn't notice more and more was coming in and stuff for males was quickly being pushed out. I still have shirts i got from there after 10 years. I showed my sons mother this store and she never stopped going after i showed her it

It's neat, trendy, and iconic. The prices can be a little high sometimes, but they're less expensive than other boutique shops downtown.

They have the neatest clothes and costumes. It's a great place to go for trendy clothes and accessories, as well as Halloween costumes, holiday attire, and Christmas sweaters.

It's been around for a long time and definitely worth checking out if you're in the Ann Arbor area.

My teenagers love to shop at Ragstock. It's pretty inexpensive and it is downtown Ann Arbor so it's really nice to give them $20.00 & they can get something interesting & fashionable & most of the time they come back with change. It is a place to get a couple items but not school/wardrobe shopping. Lines tend to be longer. Sometimes they move fast sometimes not, sadly.

Good for costumes and seasonal stuff. The second hand stuff is overpriced and not great quality. Some new stuff is a good deal and good styles. Be prepared to fight people during Halloween and New year's time getting their costumes. Good place to get tights. They also have men's fancy vests for cheap.

“new management” isn’t great…this past friday, the store manager dragged my friend around the store because she didn’t want to take a skirt off the mannequin for whatever reason. the employee mopping asked this manager to get up to help and this lady said “i guess” but proceeded to ignore my friend and the employee who both said the only skirt of that type was the one displayed on the mannequin. my girl didn’t end up even getting the skirt because of the annoying and unhelpful attitude and behavior of this “new management”. nothing but AMAZING experiences here with the regular staff for YEARS -  i feel bad they have that incompetence to deal with.

Lots of cute vintage sweaters and jackets along with some trendy tops. However, I noticed a lot of clothing items were taken from Target, for example, and sold here for triple the price! Just be aware

honestly pretty good in my experiences, but i do have to take 2 stars off. i’ve read some reviews about “rude” staff but they’re just fine if not kind and outgoing. i really like the idea of this store but unfortunately their clothes could be better. while the new items in the front of the store are very affordable, they have very poor size range. the vintage items in the back have much better inclusivity but unfortunately are very overpriced. yes, it’s curated so it’s more convenient than a thrift store for finding unique clothes, but at the end of the day they’re still charging new prices for used items. the final thing i really wish they would change are the fitting rooms. they’re really small and dark and are fitted with cloth on a shower curtain rod instead of a door. it’s just uncomfortable to use them. overall, i think this place is cool and worth a visit, but i wish they would make some improvements to the store and ragstock brand as a whole.

Love the clothes sold here, but a little overpriced for the quality. Its like the store prices the clothing for the sake of saying it's "vintage." The racks were also too close together and the staff could've been a little more friendly.

I'm a plus size person and was unable to find anything that would fit for a reasonable price. There's a lot of fun, unique clothing here and if you can afford it, I do recommend it. Also, watch your balance, the floor is pretty wonky in places.

Great clothes, some overpriced but a good amount of vintage finds.

My only problem is how packed it is. I couldn’t fit in-between most of the racks. Felt like I couldn’t breathe. I didn’t even end up buying what I wanted. Please expand your store.

It’s a cute store with a ton of interesting items, but if you’re any bigger than… a large, in both mens and women’s clothes, there’s no reason to shop here.

DUDE, stay open your POSTED hours! Got there at 740pm on a FRIDAY NIGHT, with posted hours to 8om, and you were closed!!! I will never come back here again, and suggest no one else do it either! Bad policy!!

It's so cramped and the product is such junk. Literally all of the low quality or old t shirts are over $20, whether it's from the thrift store or is a super cheap shirt from China. This place has really gone downhill. I don't remember the used clothing being so expensive. Who is paying $20 for a used t shirt ($30 for "nice" ones)?

Interesting place to browse electic collection of used clothes and good place to grab new basic items like tees and tanks etc but I honestly wouldn't go unless it was last minute or something. Staff is rude. Think they are used to treating shoppers poorly because store demographic is geared towards teens.

Nothing for tall women or people who eat three meals per day. Short women with eating disorders will find plenty to wear, though.

There was a taller employee that was rude and completely ruined the experience. For not being a judgmental area this employee was very aggressively rude. It was my first time there and they were rude about how I just hung up the clothing because it was busy and I didn’t want them to worry about getting the items then. I won’t be going back just because of this person treats customers and I hope they change their attitude towards customers because clearly it affects service and business.

Went in for the second time in the past two weeks and had a HORRENDOUS experience! I was trying to purchase a jacket (on 25% off rack and my friend purchased the same one the week before at 25% off) as well as a full-price onesie with a 25% off coupon.

The cashier did not scan the coupon and when she said the total, it was for both items at full price so I asked if the jacket rang up as 25% or not which was immediately met with an attitude in her response “NO the jacket isn’t on sale.” I told her it was on the sale rack, and that my friend had just purchased it in silver last week on sale, but that if it was full price I’d like to use the coupon on it. She got extremely annoyed and said “you can’t use a 25% off coupon on top of a 25% off discount, that’s not how it works”(which isn’t what i asked to do). She the  stormed off saying she “would see” if it was on the rack or not.

She came back and stood about 10 feet away telling her coworker (cashier 2) “the jacket is NOT on sale like I already told her, but she’s saying her friend bought it on sale or something”. Cashier 2 tells cashier 1 that “I’m not just going to let her pay whatever price she SAYS her friend paid without a receipt to prove it, so does she have one or not?”

I turned and repeated this to my friend who I was shopping with and cashier 2 immediately stormed over and said “UM EXCUSE ME?!” so I told her that I was repeating what I heard her say and she then told me again “yea well if you don’t have the receipt we’re not just going to give you the jacket at whatever you’re saying she paid for it, that’s not how it works honey” (SO condescending). So I say “for the record I don’t know why I’m getting so much attitude right now for trying to ask a question” and cashier 2 tells me that “I don’t have an attitude I’m ALWAYS like this, this is how i am” and turns to cashier 1 and says “don’t worry it’s just because you’re an angry black woman”. At this point I am LIVID because nothing could be further from the truth, my frustration at this situation had absolutely NOTHING to do with anyone’s race, which I said, and EVERYTHING to do with how unprofessional and rude both cashiers were being.

So now cashier 1 is walking away with the jacket I want to buy so I say “I’ll still take the jacket” and cashier 2 snatches it and stuffs it into my bag super aggressively and repeats the full price total. So again I asked “can I use the coupon then if it’s full price?” and cashier 2 rolls her eyes, says “yup” and starts punching keys on the computer and again says to cashier 1 “i know you didn’t have an attitude, it’s just because you’re black, an angry black woman”.  I again said “seriously that has absolutely nothing to do with this interaction and YOU are the one who brought it up and keeps mentioning it.

At this point I left the store and my friend finished the purchase for me while both cashiers continued to talk about how racist and rude I was, and cashier 2 mumbled something about the interaction resulting from the fact that she was trans (also had NOTHING to do with it). As my friend was leaving the store she heard them making loud comments about how rude and awful we both were.

TERRIBLY RUDE EMPLOYEES

Employees should learn to keep their political views to themselves and not get confrontational with customers with opposing views with themselves. I wore a Irish shirt in the and was verbally assaulted by a British employee who in all other places and by most other people would have lost it on a middle of Sunday in a argument. Instead realizing I live in the United states and have a right to my own opinion respectfully told the employee to please stop harassing me and he kept verbally insulting me, poor performance from the employee and poor performance of a business to hire a individual who csnt keep their opinion to themselves. It's a shame to because I have done a lot of business so have my classmates and friends but after this ordeal I am sad to say I will no longer be shopping here. I live in American not the UK where it's ok to belittle the Irish people.
