I have been using this shop for years.   The owner is very helpful and knowledgeable.  It's a fun shop to browse, and I have bought and sold many items at New2You.

They do a great job with the propane refills

We go there to refill our propane tanks.  During a recent series of winter storm and power outages, they offered to meet us to refill our tanks on a day they we closed if we needed it.  Very friendly and great people there!

Great constantly changing selection. Owner is friendly and knowledgeable. Merchandise is clean and well priced.

I love coming here to find something unique. It's a great place to shop. The prices have increased but they have everywhere as we all try to survive this economy.

This store is packed with like new furniture and decor. It is clean, well organized, huge, and a pleasure to browse. Tara is the pleasant owner. If you need anything, vintage or new, check it out.  Wish I had known about this place sooner!  Wall art, Christmas decorations,  lamps, lampshades, kitchenware, small electrics, China, glass, crystal, barware,  collectibles, baby, children, pillows, blankets, bedspreads, tablecloths, couches, chairs, kitchen tables, TV stands, sectionals, desks, end tables, rugs, coffee tables...it’s all there.

Great quality items that are gently used! A lot of the items they sell would be out of our price range new but since it's used we can afford it. Everyone is shocked when I tell them our Italian leather sofa is used. They have several collections of crystal including Waterford Crystal glasses. If something has been there for 60 days, they will consider discounting it but not until then.

Fabulous selection ...they have a huge array of items ...furniture novelties dishes bedding ..you name it.  Very clean high end items

I love the quality and the wide variety of the pieces that New 2 You carries at the store. You can really tell that the owner has many years of experience and a good eye for decorating! I love being able to look at their website for photos and just can't resist coming in to shop... There is something new every week ...it's a good thing Joanna Gaines doesn't live in Northville!!!

I consigned a large amount of new household items to Debbie and couldn't have been happier with her professional service.  In fact, I didn't even keep in touch.  I checked back months and months later and she provided a complete record of all sales along with a check at my first request.  Seems very trustworthy and her shop is large, stocked, and seems to get a lot of traffic.

Very nice stuff. But being from NC the furniture capital of the world, I am very familiar with what some of the furniture is worth. 1300 dollars for a used chair and ottoman that I saw at market 5 years ago brand new for 800 dollars....But if they have customers that are rich and dumb enough to not research what they are buying then these people must be doing something right.

To cluttered, constantly bumping in to stuff and can even get to parts of it. Found 3 good deals, 1 from the half off rack and 2 from a cabinet.

Very cute store with some very nice vintage items but the prices are ABSURD. Everything is very nicely laid out and show-room style which obviously took a lot of effort and makes for a pleasant shopping experience but for me it ended when I realized that everything was incredibly overpriced to an insane degree. Of course I anticipated higher prices than an average second-hand shop but they are selling tacky home decor items from Target circa 2008 as if they were mint condition MCM antiques. There was a 20-bulb string of LED lights, the kind you get new on Amazon for like four bucks, priced at $6. There was a Johanna Parker mug that sells at MOST for $30 online listed at $52. If it was an actual antique store I would have shrugged it off, it seems highly curated and I do think it’s fair to pay for the experience. However, this is not an antique store. A good portion of the items are mass-produced home wares from the 2000s and 2010s and I really got the impression that they were trying to pass them off as much more valuable collectors items. New 2 U Novi, I don’t know how you manage to stay afloat but I suppose there are more evil endeavors in the world than tricking rich people into buying a dirty worn out floor runner for $112. I’m really not mad, I’m just kind of bamboozled at the sheer audacity. I almost even respect it.

We are very sorry about your experience at new 2 you in September. Unfortunately, due to our contracts, we are unable to budge on prices for up to 45 days with most consignors being very firm. Most all of our inventory is also 50%-70% off retail prices. Currently we have a 50% off furniture room (until the end of the summer), monthly sales (sometimes up to 50%), and a 50% off clearance back-wall.

Okay assortment of household goods and furnishings. The prices are near retail and are unwilling to budge on the prices. When asked if they would contact the consignor for an offer they turned me down flat. Good business practice would have let the actual owner of the product make that decision not the greedy store owner trying to make an extra buck.

I was also told the product was brand new out of the box. It was obvious this was not the case if you LOOKED at it. There was signs of wear and damage. When pricing items you have to consider the item and the condition.

I wont be going back again...

I am sorry to hear that you are disappointed that you did not hear back from us regarding your items.  Unfortunately, as I stated in response to the email you sent yesterday, we do not have any other emails showing in our inbox from you.  I receive on average anywhere from 15+ emails a day as well as phone messages to return. We are closed on Sundays and Monday to which email will not be checked during those days. Typically when someone has not received a response they reach out to us by phone to ensure that we received the email and more often then not the email had not gone through. If for some reason the email was missed, we take the time to review the email immediately for the customer while on the phone.   In the future we would hope that you reach out to us to inform us of the issue and give us the opportunity to troubleshoot  and resolve it appropriately.
