This place is perfect for finding interesting items for people that love anime/manga or wants to try some interesting snacks. The staff is always helpful and nice.

A true gem! The staff are so nice and they carry interesting, reasonably priced products (especially in the snack aisle). Conveniently located next to Bath & Body Works so mom can shop there while the kids nerd out.

Very cool place. Tons of hot anime. Very cool collectibles. Everything from special collectors editions pieces to swords to specialized furniture to accessories etc. Pretty much have it all in this field. Staff is awesome to. Always a cool place to check out and worth the trip.

Nerd friendly environment! Really happy to find a good selection of anime things here. Looking forward to more anime action figures. Focus is understandably on the classic stuff so you'll find Naruto, Dragonball Z, My Hero Academia, Jojo etc. but there's minor series too / one season stuff

This store is amazing and has authentic Japanese items including gear from many different Animes and Mangas, and candy. The staff is very nice and has tons of knowledge about their products and Japanese culture.

Everything there is awesome. The Japanese products are cool, and the merchandise for anime and Japanese video games are absolutely AWESOME! They also have amazing snacks and drinks.

Cool little anime goods store! They had a surprisingly cool collection of figures and wall scrolls. The best part about the store, though, is that they stock our favorite milk tea brand that we were only able to find in Japan. They ordered us a whole crate of it when they were restocking and we came and picked it up. Very cool!

The store is so neat and has so many things inside of it that I could just walk in and spend an entire day there looking at. As soon as you walk in you are hit with a maze of colors  and variety of  products. In one section they carry  nothing but  weapons such as swords, knives, nunchucks, daggers, katanas, Etc. in another section they carry minor decorative household products such as two-story teapots, mugs, pillows, couches, and little seats, Etc. They have intricate little knick nacks, comicbook and anime merchandise, as well as Japanese, Chinese, and Korean foods and snacks. Their newest addition to the store would be Kpop merchandise such as pillowcases, school folders, pins, and of course posters. The staff is pretty cool and very friendly. When you walk in there you don't feel like you're talking to someone is trying to sell you something, rather you feel like you're talking to a friend. Pretty awesome place!

After coming here for years I'm happy to say it's still one of my favorite stores in the area. The staff is very friendly, they have a very nice stock of items from anime to vocaloid, knives, candy and drink. Overall my experience with the has been overwhelmingly positive here.

The staff is enthusiastic about their jobs and the products they sell. All of them are knowledgeable about everything in the store. Great place for the anime lover, gunpla enthusiasts, and anyone else interested in the things they have in store

A genuinely endearing place to visit and "geek out" over all things anime. Every time I visit the Meridian Mall, I always wind up back at this store.

The staff working there are always there to make you feel welcome, even sometimes striking up a conversation about their favorite anime.

It almost seems like every time I walk in this store, I always seem to buy something. Whether it be a deck of Pokémon cards with different art on every card, or Kirito's duel wielding swords from SAO season 1.

Thier is no shortage of decorations to liven up your home, genuine replica katanas, and countless figures and figurines to collect and display.

All around great place, a must visit for anime nerds, geeks, and enthusiasts.

This store is honestly one of the best anime stores I've gone to in my life. Given I have been to a few in other states, this one is very nice. I am able to talk to the employees about my favorite shows and give my opinion without the fear of being judged. There is a very nice, quiet man with black hair who is always nice to talk to. The manager is also very nice and hugs me when I enter the store, making me feel at home straight away. The customer service is better than most anime stores I've been in and I am happy to say that I would always return everyday if possible.
The anime merchandise is a bit pricey but it is to be expected due to shipping costs and what the store payed for the item. But the variety is fantastic, I could browse for such a long time.

The staff was very helpful and friendly and they have a wide array of items, ranging from anime centric items like wall scrolls, cosplay, and figures, to home decor elements.

Used to go to this place all the time with it was in Southgate. It's so far away now, but still amazing as ever.

This store was amazing! Immense selection of anime/Japanese products!

HOWEVER, a LOT of their merchandise is BOOTLEG! They will tell you it is just "overstock." No, some of their stuff is bootlegged and they won't admit it. For example, I am a BIG Sailor Moon fan and I spotted a TON of different bootleg items such as bootleg wall scrolls, art, figures, plushies, DVDs, etc. How I knew FOR SURE that they were selling bootlegs was when I noticed two obviously bootlegged Sailor Moon DVDs, one of the three movies together and another of the 4th season, SuperS. I saw the EXACT same bootlegged DVDs on eBay, and the box art was definitely not high quality like the official DVD releases.

Be careful when purchasing from them!!! Only buy things you know FOR SURE that are official merchandise; do NOT let them tell you otherwise!

On the bright side, they did have a lot of official merchandise, as well. I'd say that the store carries about half official merchandise and half bootlegged products.

While their selection is vast and varied I've had a most unfortunate slew of bad interactions with their customer service reps. Maybe interaction is too generous. Three times I have come in, not acknowledged at all, have stood at the counter for assistance, today even I stood there trying to express interest in an item behind the counter. Two of the people were more invested in trying to flip a pencil between their fingers while the third didn't seem to want to do anything but help me. I simply walked out, annoyed that I have to either find another store, or use Amazon. Neither of which are all that appealing.

We appreciate your feedback! We try to be attenuated to our community and we do intend to stock Gundam models kits! The current reality is that we simply can't get our hands on many - if any - kits at once due to the ongoing international pandemic situation. Reaction to the pandemic has slowed down everything from raw materials to shipping and impacted every step of the process. The goal is to return to our previous level of inventory and more! As for the kits in the window, they were built by our staff for display purposes and were not intended to misrepresent our available merchandise. Apologies for any misunderstandings! Used to buy Gundam model kits here a lot, but lately they only carry like one or two kits at a time, also in their window display they have  kits that are not (and haven't been for a while)  in stock, it's very frustrating.

Sells lots of knock off versions of quality figures.  Candy And posters are alright, but the figures really put a sour taste in my mouth and i will not be returning

Sorry what happened! I am sure she tried to show you more things in the store because there are a lot. You can say no and choose what you want or need. Remember you always have  more options at the store.

I go to the rivertown mall location, its a great store, but the older asian lady is very pushy, i was in the other day and i just wanted to buy some candy but shes trying to sell me on other things i dont want or need, i just wanted to get my stuff and go. It made me a tad uncomfertable.

Do not ever purchase anything from this store. They are cheap losers who don't do refunds. I bought a gift for someone and it was the wrong item and I couldn't return it.
Its not only Incredibly rude to the customer but it's also unprofessional on the highest level of retail.

The selection was ok and prices were outrageous. I felt rushed while in there to buy something and was watched very closely for some reason. So I just got out of there and haven't returned.

You were asked to leave due to your unwanted attempts to force "friendship" on staff members. Stalking and harassing employees is unacceptable behavior. You are not permitted in our stores and will be asked to leave again if you return.

One of the workers started saying if you dont buy anything were kicking you out and i was just looking around and he said were calling security. You just lost a customer not happy at all never returning there ever again!

Normally i love this store but i bought a oil lamp from them got home an no light bulb, called an they said bring it back for a refund, so i came all the way out to get my money back an they refused me a refund. Seriously an inconvenience! Stick to your word thanks for the terrible consumer service.
