Rickman's Antiques: A Family-Owned Treasure Trove in Traverse City
Nestled in the heart of Traverse City, Michigan, Rickman's Antiques has been a beloved destination for antique enthusiasts for over 25 years. This family-owned business is renowned for its exceptional selection of vintage furniture, collectibles, and one-of-a-kind finds that cater to a wide range of tastes and budgets.
According to customer reviews, Rickman's Antiques is more than just a store - it's a testament to the passion and expertise of its owners. As one customer, Jason Hart, shares, "This family has been in business for at least 25 years, probably many more! This family gave me a chance in one of my darkest hours. They allowed me to work for them while I was incarcerated and provided me with freedom for those 6 months in the 90's even though they were a victim in what I had done." This heartwarming story speaks volumes about the store's commitment to supporting its community and providing opportunities for those in need.
The store's inventory is a true treasure trove, as described by customer Jeffrey Lewis: "A lot of great antiques everybody should furnish your house with this stuff." From vintage furniture to rare vinyl records, Rickman's Antiques offers a diverse selection that caters to a wide range of collectors and home decor enthusiasts. As customer Rob Bartz notes, "Bought a bunch of vinyl records from this place. Nice guy who owns it with [his] wife. Lots of old vintage furniture."
Without a website or social media presence, Rickman's Antiques relies on word-of-mouth and its long-standing reputation to attract customers. However, this old-fashioned approach seems to be working, as evidenced by the glowing reviews and the store's enduring presence in the Traverse City community.

If you buy from this store you will get nothing less than great value, exceptional workmanship and you will be supporting the most experienced and educated about antiques in Michigan. Get to know them.... You'll be happy you did.

The photos posted of this establishment are deceiving. It is not anything like that on the inside. The lady is nice but there is not much to look at, some furniture but little else. Not worth the trip.
