This one is so huge, I could just get lost in it. They have so much in it. I love the variety and how they have the setup.

John (a manager) was so wonderful, he took me over to the product I was looking for, and checked back in to make sure I found what I needed.

There's a great selection of anything book, movie, or game related. I could've spent hours here.

2nd and Charles is like a family treat. We absolutely love this store. My family of 7 come here a few times a year and we all split up and meet back together with our finds and it's always such a great time. Thank you for getting my kids excited about reading and getting books.

I will always love this place. Clothes are the only thing here that's overpriced but screw it i love the discount books and knowing I can return them when I run out of space. I've been coming here for years and I won't stop until i move out of state. So much good stuff here. Just gotta watch out for the geese 🤣

WOW...never been here...to much to take in, in one place. Employees will bend over backwards to help you find what you want AT the price you want to pay!

Everyone here is nice and they have an ever-changing diverse selection of media. The place is always clean and a nice spot to hang out. There’s always plenty of parking and I love how they switch up the displays often.

First time visitor. Very impressed with this book store. The art section was a small but I did enjoy the cook book and sci fi areas. Next time I visit lol have to join the rewards program. I saw someone earn a 5 dollar coupon and I felt a bit envious.

I absolutely love this place, they have everything you could think of! I love browsing through all the books and they always have what I'm looking for. They have a huge selection of books, games, movies, music, manga, action figures, and other such merch for any shows or games.

Absolutely loved this place! So much to look at from Funkos to records. So many books and collectibles. Reminded me of FYE. Found lots of Iron Maiden things and a few dvds. Great prices and tons of selection. Can’t wait to return and pick out some books.

We love coming here. There is always something new to discover on the shelves under your favorite author. They have a $1-$3 section that may have a cheaper version of the book you have just found. 2nd & Charles also has a children's section my kids really enjoy. There are so many other interesting items to buy besides just books.

Great place to browse for that next series you can't put down, or fill in holes in your collection. No matter if that collection is books, audio, or movies.

Great selection. Fun to wander around exploring different genres. They have a coffee bar and restrooms. The only gripe I had (and it's not a big one) was that I had to go all the way from the far back to the checkout counter to find anyone to ask a question. Otherwise, I really enjoy this place.

2nd & Charles is a mix of so many things. It feels like a Sam Goody, Barnes & Nobles, clean Pawn Shop, and a Media Play all rolled into one. They have everything from books, retro toys, board games, vinyl, music instruments, etc. under one massive roof. There are used and new items, and everything is organized, yet there is still so much to see so I recommend strolling through as many of the shelves as you can.

2NC is a favorite spot for me and my kids. There is something for all of us. We all love finding new books to add to our collections. The "Blind date with a book" options are always interesting. They also have a great vinyl selection and plenty of manga, which my teenage daughter loves. My son likes looking at the toys and games. They also offer lots of music & movie collectibles and memorabilia. Great place to get lost in for a while and just hang out. If you at trying to sell your books, they don't always offer the highest payout. The prices to buy are very fair, tons of deals. And you can join their text program for extra perks and text coupons. The staff is always very friendly and helpful.

I love shopping at 2nd and Charles. They have so much to look for, either for myself or a gift for someone else. Things that are hard to find at other stores. They have a great selection of media and collectibles.

This place is an incredible experience. I am always looking for a second hand book store and this was just that and more. I appreciated the store’s layout and it was easy to find the books I was interested in.

This place is AMAZING!!!! I am not even really that into reading but went here in search of books for a classroom library. I spent over 2 hours in here!!! They have a mix of brand new items in bulk and a variety of used books in great condition. They also have instruments, games, posters and other little gadgets. Extremely well priced.  They even have a bin of FREE books outside. Goooooo! I highly recommend.

I bought 4 books for $5.26! LOVE THIS STORE. I never knew a place like this existed and I am in LOVE. Books, records, video games, instruments, board games, children games, movies, CDs, TV shows tarot, crystals, gypsy. This place has it all! I spent a few hours here browsing the many aisles. A book on every topic. Well organized. Coffee shop, children's area, reading area, gaming area. FREE books bin outside. Customer service was excellent.

Great variety of books and gaming and rare finds. Reminds me of the old mediaplay stores. Just a fantastic experience every time i go. Hard to describe, better in person.

This is a fascinating place with used books and old fashioned vinyl records. The staff leaves books for people to take for free by the entrance. The coffee shop is comfortable and easy to study at.

Very well organized and clean! We come here about once a week for the used books, video games, and records. A ton of items are on sale for 1-3$ ! This store is huge and so much fun to walk around !

I think this store could organize its books better. And a specific horror section would be helpful. Also for a used bookstore I felt like I didn’t see any used books.

I wish they had a place to sit, originally they had a coffee shop.  My grandsons love going too.  I've never sold them anything,  but my son in law has.

Great place to buy used books and find selections you can’t get at Barnes & Noble. Good background music to browse books to. Good vibe overall. I wish knew of this place sooner.

They have a great selection of both new and used items. Fantastic place for comics and funko pop! Not the best at trade in vale for your items. Feels like they have 80 to 90% margin on their used items. It's better to sell your items elsewhere.

I would count your pages and add before checking out. If the total $ is off, ask the cashiers to verify page counts.

I went to penny-a-page sale. You can't follow along with the cashier's page-count-price entering on a screen, so you have to take their word for it. Walking away I noticed she made a mistake. (See pic.) No big deal, people make mistakes.  Song of Kali = 277pgs charged $5.54.

I walked back in and showed the bearded greeter my receipt. He said "she made a mistake. You have to go to the back of the line." the line was about 15 customers long. The guy just shrugged.

The store only had two registers open - out of four - on their big sale day. They had this guy greeting people instead of ringing up. He said he didn't have register access.

Disappointed with selection of movies, higher prices then expected. Mostly DVDs.  Very little 4k.  Lots of books.

There are two locations now within 25 ish mins of each other.  This time went mostly looking for books, they have vinyl and a long glass counter with various more expensive items as well.  3 stars

Im a toy collector, so stores like this are awesome to me, especially when you can find old figures from your childhood sometimes mint on card. They usually have something for everyone here, it just depends on what your looking for.

Used to love going to this store but they've really gone down hill. If you purchase anything regardless of how long you've been apart of the 2nd and Charles rewards program they can NEVER find you at this location so you get points for your purchase and the employees really don't care if that's an inconvenience or not. The other 2nd and Charles location has always been able to locate me in their system, so that is where I'll be taking my money going forward.  Their employees are also more helpful and friendly.

I love ging in to brows and 99% of the time I get something. Today while there I downloaded the app and saw they had the new Hunger Games book on sale for $22 instead of $28. I took it up to pay and they said it was ringing up full price. The manager came up and said that's online price. I said ok well if you won't give me the price I'll order it and come back to pick it up later. She said they don't have pick up in store, I said the app has that option and she said they don't have it at this store. 😆. I'm like WTH is going on, she said it would have to ship to me. So instead of giving me the online price in store and saving on shipping they couldn't do anything. I try my best to support local places, I'm trying to avoid Amazon but with stuff like this happening this is why people just use Amazon. It's cheaper on Amazon and free shipping. They need to really step up and at the very least match the online price if they won't offer in-store pick up.

Like others here my disappointment stems from the buyback. 40 books, all hardcover, all never read brand new. All relevant. Some classics. Offered $7

The workers were great! But for a store who resells books they need to offer a much better price. I brought in over 500+ dollars worth of books 95% in perfect condition and they offered me 20 dollars for everything. They need to work on there percentages offered to customers but the workers and store was very cool.

The young lady ringing me up did not say a word to me. Not when I said hello, not when I said goodbye and to enjoy the holidays. Nothing... and treated my fiancé with the same attitude.
I couldn't believe it, it was awkward, embarrassing, and rude.

My customer service experience left a lot to be desired. I dropped off book for buyback and they didn't tell me their policy was that I only had 1 day to retun for any they didn't want before they donated them. Also, while there I asked the women who didn't tell me that policy where the video games were and she said they were at the end of the movies, not even bothering to point. It turned out that she meant that that they were closer to us than the movie section?

Terrible selection of mostly lowest common denominator slop. Most of the people i saw in there were parents with their kids looking for kids books, neckbeards looking at funko pops or men and women on dates. Almost nobody actually looking at the books, probably because the ones they had were garbage.

Took in over 30 books, all good books perfect condition, Coleen Hoover, Freida mcfadden, ect. And they told me to leave them with the books for a hour so I did and when I got back they offered me 6.25$. That’s not even the price for one book, didn’t accept the offer. Also for a used book shop their prices to buy books are far more expensive than if you were to buy off Amazon. There charging full price for used books pretty much. Do yourself a favor and just purchase the new book off Amazon for cheaper !

This place is a total waste of time when you take DVD’s to sell. I took 15 TV series in to sell to this store. Some were still in original packaging and never opened. The girl at the buy back counter would only take two and only offered me $1.25 total. What a waste of time. I had good product like “Sons of Anarchy”, “Mad TV”, Two seasons of “The Monkees” and more. This place is extremely picky on what they will buy. I suggest that you save your time and gas money going to this place to sell your DVD’s and CD’s to only get your items turned down and only get offered a buck and a quarter for only 2 items. This was a waste of 30 minutes of my time. I ended up taking my DVD’s to donate to the Salvation Army store nearby and actually felt like maybe this will help someone else by donating.
