Have made a few purchases via online auction feature. Items as described. Professional , quick responding staff.

Purchased from one of their auctions and they shipped items. They forgot to package an item in box and when I contacted them they told me I would have to pay additional shipping for the 1 item. They said they forgot to weigh it with the other items. Even though it would have fit into the first package. So because they were incompetent and couldn't remember all items I would have to either drive 2 hours to their store and pick item up or pay a lot more for shipping then it would have cost originally had they remembered to put it in original package. That is terrible customer service on their part and will never do business with them again.

Estate 48 ~ Completely lacking in market knowledge of Art Glass as evidenced in today's Sept. 21, 2019 estate sale in Atlas, MI. An art glass collector, I'm happy to pay the current market price as I expand my personal collection. I drove 1 1/2 hrs. hoping to do so. Day 1 of a two day sale with prices 2 -3 times the market selling price?!? How sad for the sellers who hired this firm. Potential buyer after potential buyer walked in and back out the door. There is a point where negotiation becomes out of the question. Imagine setting out to purchase an automobile and coming across a dealer with a 2-3 times greater mark up compared to every other. Of course, one just decides to save their breath and head on down the road! ***** update to my review of 9/21/19 ***** The owner's response (of 5/11/21 !) is completely false which causes me to feel an even greater responsibility with any help I may be able to offer to others through my review. A serious collector of art glass, one piece in particular which I had hoped to purchase was, in fact, advertised ahead of the sale with a price of $300. When I enquired at the sale, it was $600 with no room for negotiation per this company's owner personally! A whole host of other items advertised were initialed (kc) which this company's owner said was the family now not wanting to sell. Again, everything was priced far greater than current FAIR and FULL market price. Even the workers at the sale were completely embarassed by the prices. As I mentioned in my original review, potential customer after potential customer walked away empty handed and disappointed. The whole line of nonsense on all those ecstatic last day customers just doesn't add up here. BTW, this was a two day sale only. For those considering the hiring of an estate sale company, be diligent in your research. Sadly, there are those who will over price, not sell your items, then "generously" clean up the house just so immaculately for you afterward (ie take your items) "so you have nothing left to do but sell the home." Be careful in signing such an agreement when you are, most likely, at your most vulnerable. Sad. . .
