Awesome selection.....visit clothing store next door- great prices...going back!!

I stopped in here while waiting to pick up a pizza next door. I had consigned some items years ago at the edina location. They have lots of big size furniture many sectionals if thats what your looking for. Also quite a bit of outdoor furniture. Lots of holiday decor. Pictures etc. I did not see very many antiques but a few items in the glass cases were collectibles. There were appliances like coffee pots wafflemakers and pots and pans. Prices were I would say reasonable.

I got the pair of Sorel boots I have been looking for.

Always a fun place to go, you never know what you may find!!

Large selection of items, with fairly high turnover.  I love seeing what's new each time.  I've found some great things either near, or in mint condition, at decent prices.

Clean and stylish. Very nice people on staff. Furniture prices are a bit high but still love this store.

Today, I shopped at the Eden Prairie location. The staff was very nice and were busy keeping the store nice and tidy.

They also had a great selection of clothing and shoes. Amber and Arya helped us checkout a large sale. I appreciated their care in removing tags and sensors from our purchase. They also let us know about the next upcoming sale.

Always something new.  If you see something that u like buy it, cause it will not be there the next time.  Which is a good thing.

The lady working there was so nice! I appreciate her going out of her way to go through my clothes after the designated time to do so. Easy to talk to and helpful!

Very cool store to find so many items for a cheap price!

Tons of curated pieces to spruce up your space. Clothing shop next door is nicely organized and does have fitting rooms open.

Great way to get credit for clothes you aren’t wearing and great place to find new to you fashions!!!  Love being able to turn in stuff I’m not using and get credit towards the new treasures I find in both the home and clothing store!!!!

Staff are far more pleasant than Plato's Closet. Good selection. You get paid when your stuff sells. Prices are great. It was 50% off full price items for New year's and I walked out with 6 items for about $25!

This is the highest rated Turnstyle in the metro and for good reason! I'm a frequent shopper at all locations and found EP has far more new and designer items. The saleslady who manages the clothing side (Anne?) is also phenomenal. I once saw a customer straight up screaming at her over an issue she had in the Plymouth location and Anne remained incredibly calm and helpful. Added bonus is the store is usually empty in the evening, so no crowds or long waits.

Turnstyle is a gem. If you can be patient you can find especially fantastic deals here! This location has a great selection for women and men's clothing. Every once in a while they run promotions on Groupon which makes the deals even better!

I visit here frequently and am always surprise at how I find something that I really need or have been looking for. The staff is wonderful, helpful and knowledgeable.

I went in on a day where they had 30% off and I purchased a $100 worth of things. However I do want to mention that some things are completely overmarked  In price. Especially some of the furniture pieces that clearly you can buy somewhere else brand new for about as much as what they're asking.

Found a wide selection of clothing and styles at a better-than-thriftshop price. Plan to stay a couple of hours to choose, try and buy. Staff are always busy stocking the racks but are generally accomodating but leave you alone enough to have a comfortable shopping experience. I signed up to get alerts on their big sales. I went during their 75%off red tag semi-annual clearance event.

I love this place. Kind and helpful staff, great deals and a great place to bring your gently used clothing. Furniture side is pretty fun, too! Also, if you're looking for petite items, this location has the best selection of all of the ones I've been to. :)

Turnstyle carries good quality clothes at very good prices. Men's selection is sufficient and a little bit more expensive. The Eden Prairie location has more children's clothes than the other Turn Style's in the metro but no kid's shoes anymore. This location also has a very large selection of women's boots. It's clean and inviting with a nice location. Enough dressing rooms and decent staff. I didn't personally have great luck consigning there with men's clothes, but it was right before they started their semi-annual clearance sale so the timing was poor and I should have waited until the following year.

An exceptional resale shop with occasional real finds for home decorations. Not cheap but nice quality. Clothing selection in next door shop. Favoring women's clothing.

It was nice and clean, and the associates were extremely helpful and friendly. It was just a little too expensive for me. Others were hauling out stuff like crazy. I know it's all in great shape, but I can buy new for that price. No matter what condition it's in,  it's still used. It may just be me.

First time here...I think the home goods store is fun. I enjoy looking for old treasure. The clothes store is just full of old clothes. I didn't care about it at all.

I like TurnStyle but grading location by location this isn't at the top of my list.  I don't like that the home consignment and clothing consignment are in different buildings and you have to consign at each independently. Often, there's no one working the front desk (clothing store specifically) so you stand around waiting. I think Richfield is far better, selection and service wise, than this location.

Tables were a bit sticky, but service was great.  Appetizer tasted like they came out of a microwave

There is always a big selection of rotating items.  Prices are very reasonable and if you want to roll the dice for further mark down you can.  The counter staff are always very nice and personable.

This location Eden Prairie has gone down hill.
Management, customer service none.
I have consigned at this location for over 20 years.  It is not the same.
Very disappointed.

Not a fan.
I was quoted a figure that I had in my account over the phone. A few short minutes later when I arrived at the store, my account had SUDDENLY LOST $3.00 somehow/somewhere.
Turn Style is becoming exploitative to sellers, like Half Price Books has become the exploitative to sellers.
I understand they want/need to make money, but these middle men/women are over the top! Shame on me for letting myself be exploited.

The  young female employees were all very "snooty",with the exception of what  I think was the manager, a more mature woman. They act like they are doing you a big favor to take your items, and have a general attitude of condescension.

I dropped off 7 items today, and they rejected several items. I think it’s the way they reject the items as if they are so above you.

I have decided I will not be returning to do business with them again.  I will just donate to a thrift store and take the tax write off, rather than deal with the condesending attitude of young women, whose job is merely a sales clerk at a thrift store, who probably aren't making  much above minimum wage.

I am a retired business owner, and I always stressed to my employees to treat our clients/ patients with the utmost respect in how you speak to people and definitely in your non-verbal communication. It is definitely true, that sometimes it's not what you say to people, but how you make people feel.

If i could leave a 0 star review I would. Place is an insane scam. Never seen anything like It. Same brands across the store, one I wanted was double the price of THE SAME EXACT ITEM IN EXTRA LARGE. There was one girl who was super helpful, but her manager was so so rude. Had no idea at what she was talking about. And tried ripping me off. They get everything for free and take advantage of us people struggljng and asking for help. Either way she was trying to say a cheap fur vest was faux fur, and it was not. Lying to us. Me and my girlfriend know faux fur very well. Wasn't even cotton. Poor cheap quality trying to sell more expensive then Amazon. Like what. They don't know what their doing, mark items as they feel instead of what they should realistically be charging. A cheap shawl for 35 bucks I found on Amazon for 12. Don't fall for this scam of a place and the rudeness of the employees, especially managers. Don't go here, drive down the block to a better spot.

I would give this place a zero star by looking at these reviews I’m not surprised I had an issue. Regardless I spoke to the manager - my issue wasn’t even with the manager until I caught a reeking smell of liquor - now I ignored it - at first… however when speaking to her- it was apparent she was intoxicated. I’m confused on what type of environment this is/ work place- I’ve been coming here for the last 6 months - and I will not be returning.

This was easily the most unprofessional experience I’ve ever experienced at a store in my entire life. I returned an item that I purchased the the DAY before and was told that not only I was unable to obtain store credit but would receive no money back because I didn't have a receipt. I had proof of the transaction on my debit card with date etc., and asked if they could look up the card number. The young girl at the front desk said there was “nothing she could do” and I need to "move aside". She also proceeded to call me the C word, began giggling, and went to grab her phone to text the "manager" who was on lunch.  I asked to speak to her manager and maintain my composure as to what had just happened, thinking I would actually be approached by a reasonable adult and professional, however she immediately spoke to me in a condescending tone and told me something similar about policy (which is fine) but in an extremely unprofessional way. As I was standing there in absolute shock from how she was approaching the matter, I asked if she could look up my card number and she began walking away and said, “I am not going to play this game with you”.  Both of these employees have demonstrated the most unprofessional behavior I have ever seen and should be let go. I would NEVER buy an item here again.

I'm shocked at how rude and un professional they are! They treat you like a low life in need of money and as if they don't need you. SO UNKIND and just bad business. If it was not for people consigning they would not have a business so they should treat people with MORE RESPECT!

If you want to be treated like a human with dignity, I would suggest shopping else where.

I have a damaged digestive tract from a year of chemotherapy, I asked to used a restroom and was told no, I mentioned the Minnesota restroom access act (325E.60) requirements to no avail. Staff, including the manager were very belittling, told me to walk down to Lunds or Starbucks.

As for the shipping, Target and Walmart brands were plentiful, but designer brands were far and few between.

Sadly this location doesn’t appear to want to survive…. The past 3 times I’ve made the drive to buy & sell the sign on the back door says they are “done consigning”.

Lady at the counter was extremely rude. I can see from other previous reviews that it’s a common consensus and I agree with them on not going back.

The very professional mannered “manager” spoke to me in a very condescending way about my antique hutch and not being able to open the door. I explain to her how the latch works. She said we can’t take something that doesn’t open. (rudely) I again explained the procedures for opening the door and she then started talking about how poor shape it was. That they don’t take things in such bad shape and asked if I sent a picture first. I said no that in fact I called 20 mins prior and spoke with staff first. She’s very nice but oh well I am sorry for that but we can’t take this it’s just not sellable. What ever happened to bringing in antiques to sell at a low cost for people to snag up and refurbish instead of having to do as I just had to and throw it away because I have no other options??!! Prices are starting to become way too high throughout the store I could do better buying things off of eBay. No longer worth going to. So sad.

I have been there numerous times over the past six weeks trying to consign my clothes. The woman with the gray short bob that works in the back is absolutely the nastiest most unprofessional woman I have ever come across. I would definitely not recommend taking your clothes there!
The first time I showed up I had already called in advance to prepare for my arrival. And they told me they were done consigning at 6 o’clock but the recording says seven. So I had to drag all my clothes back out. The second time I showed up the girl tells me they can only look at 10 items because they are understaffed. The third time I showed up the woman with the gray short Bob said they couldn’t take anything because I had too many items and they were for fall. Again it’s a way in which you present yourself. She could not Have been a more nasty unpleasant unprofessional human being!

Call before hauling your items in to consign and even then you might be turned away because they are ‘at capacity’.  Or you could always wait undetermined amount of time to see if the employees with underwhelming customer service skills have time to get to you.  I guess I’ll take the time to sell my items online and actually get a decent price for them, this wasn’t worth my effort.

The manager at this store is very rude. I have always brought my items in with several items on one hanger. The website specifies items need to be on hangers. It does NOT say ONE item to ONE hanger.  This manager yesterday would not let me get all 7 (yes, only 7) of my items checked with only 2 hangers. She would only let me do 2. She would also not let me borrow a few of their hangers for a few minutes either. I have been going to this location for over 30 years. I have always put several items on one hanger. No one has EVER told me this is not ok. If they had, I would not do it. As the manager said, "She doesn't care if I have been coming there longer than she has been alive!" Turnstyle consignment stores could not exist without good customers like me.  I understand policies change. She told me she cannot make exceptions to rules. Others near by me told me if they had extra hangers they would have borrowed them to me. No one understood why she could not make an exception when this is something I have been doing for years. How about just be kind to a customer? I get it, something changed. And next time, I will do it the way you ask, but you just could have shown a bit of kindness. I won't be going back for a long time. Sad, that this business has changed so much!

I went into the store with my 2 year old and my friend. No one greeted us as we entered and my son, being 2 was excitedly running down the aisles of the store. Both employees rolled their eyes numerous times at him and after about 5 minutes the younger employee approached me and said: could you PLEASE keep
Your son right by your side?! I work retail at a small store and I would NEVER approach a mother asking her to do this. I will not be back!

I brought clothes in and was treated horribly!!! Even if someone doesn't have the stuff they're looking for, they need to treat people with respect. They took one item to sell and I never heard from them again. They said they would contact me if it didn't sell within a certain amount of time. I never heard from them. I will never go there again!!!

Snooty about what they'll accept. I took in beautiful once or never worn dresses, and they rejected all of them, stating, "We have to be very picky." Guess what. So do I, and I won't be going back to this dump of a place.

Date of Visit: 10/17/2018 - I am interested to see what comes of the 19 items I consigned today at approximately 5:00PM. The "rules" that the store clerks provided me didn't seem to match what I read on the internet. From what I read online, Turnstyle allows 50 items at one time - when I arrived they informed me I could only bring 35 to be sold. From what I read online, Turnstyle provides you with your own hangers back - when I arrived, the sales clerks informed me that you only get your hangers back if Turnstyle declines to try to sell your product (i.e. if it is outdated, not name brand, or not nice enough condition) and you take your products home with you on the same day you brought them in. From what I read online, Turnstyle will price your items while you shop - I brought in my items and was quoted 2.5 hours to 3 hours to have them priced or rejected. The clerks stated that most people drop the clothes off; run errands or go to appointments; then come back later - I asked if there was any way they could price them quickly, like they used to do, but they said no. They informed me to come back at 7:45PM (right before closing) to check with them and get my rejected items back - if I didn't pick up my rejected items by 8:00PM, they would donate to charity. My mother used to bring her gently used clothes to Turnstyle all the time to sell them and she could bring up to 50 items, she got every single hanger back, and she said they would price/reject the items in 15-25 minutes while you wait in the store. Either the rules have changed and Turnstyle has failed to update their policies and procedures on the website, or the staff is poorly trained and/or not following the policies and procedures. I'm interested to see what my return will be on my items sold - will it be enough to outweigh the cost of buying more hangers? Or will I end up donating all my name brand items (Ann Taylor Loft, Banana Republic, Silver Jeans, etc.) to another thrift store and forgetting the consignment piece?
UPDATE: Of the 41 mint-condition name brand pieces I have brought to the store the last week or so, they have accepted 12. They rejected Silver Jeans, Lane Bryant dress shirts, and Chico's sweaters - all were purchased last winter (perhaps that's too "out of date" for them to accept the item?) I am considering trying a different consignment store.
