I recently visited Turnstyle in Maple Grove! I’m from New Jersey and had the opportunity to stop and shop while I was in town. I encountered some wonderful associates and found great deals and special finds! 10/10 experience—would definitely come back again!

Stopped in while visiting in the area.  Cute shop, nice selection, awesome sales associate, especially Berna.  She was super helpful and friendly.  Wish more places were like this back home.

I LOVE Turn Style!! I was in town for a couple days when I drove past the store and decided to consign some of my designer clothes. The staff was amazing and particularly Berna was such a help! She helped me find the cutest things. Next time I am in town I will bring more stuff to sell and hopefully find great things to buy!

This place is Packed With Every thing to be a thrift store the finds there are amazing. I found a Gold locket was worth more then what I paid.

not my experience but my wife sure likes the place. lots of different options and styles to browse. trying to consign isnt the easiest or profitable but the store is fine.

I love this store!! Many different styles, sizes brands, shoes, dresses, shorts and home goods too!! I found this store by accident by going in the wrong door and I'm so happy that I did!! I was taking my  stuff to the store next door, which I won't name.. Lol. Which I  NEVER go there anymore. And I actually came in the wrong door because they almost  share the the same doors. However  I found this wonderful store, TURNSTYLE CONSIGNMENT  Everyone should go here because there's a better chance to sell your clothing and then you have the choice to either get a check for your clothing or receive a store credit. It's a win win situation!! Fabulous consignment store!!!

A very friendly & comfortable place to shop. I was greeted when I walked into the store and told about the sale going on. I found 4 pairs of slacks and jeans, they fit perfect. The Sales Associate was so helpful and pleasant. I will definitely be back!

I've been there on several occasions in the last six months, and find it to be very well run, and a fun place to shop. I always find something different and unique, and the price is ALWAYS right. There are no issues with something being damaged, dirty or excessively worn.They are very cautious about that. The employees have been super friendly and helpful.  I've only recently brought things in for resale, so I can't speak to it from the side of a seller yet,  except to vouch for the fact that they are careful what they take (they won't sell anything ripped, dirty or stained). The process was easy and organized, and they were very clear as to the timing, the mark-down dates, and the percentage received.

Super friendly, well organized and large selection, and their sales are incredible! One of the best clothes reseller I've been to!

Great customer service and great values on a variety of clothes. The only downside was other customers who had very  large orders-- And couldn't decide if they were done looking-- holding up the line.😏

Highly recommend for consigning and shopping.

I changed sizes and had a closet full of nice brand name clothes that I spent so much money on I couldn't just give them away. I made an appointment for the weekend to bring everything in--it was about 100 items. They were all cleaned and on hangers. They took almost everything and about half went to the summer season and half for fall.

Just from the summer season, I've made nearly $200. About every other month I call and there's another 50 bucks in there! I wish I had more stuff to bring in!

They have up-to-date, and new-like clothing and shoes, purses, and jewelry, with the best prices.

The employee was so courteous. She brought my clothes to the fitting room and arranged them nicely. She made relevant recommendations and She carried on great conversation with me and made me feel welcome.

So I usually have loved Turn Style in the past but I really don’t think I will be consigning anymore or shopping much. I have discovered better options.
This is not so much a review of this particular store as it is a review of Turn Style in general. I really dislike how they now charge you $1 for every item that doesn’t sell if you want the item back. They made pretty good money off of my other items and it doesn’t cost them anything for me to take unsold things back after expiration. I suppose they want something for their time in processing items but I think that’s something the store should be accepting as part of the cost of running their business. They make much more on sold items than the consigner does, so I would think that is where they get return on their investment of time. That’s kind of how businesses work anyway. There is overhead and risk involved. It’s weighing the risk/overhead/cost vs reward that makes good business. Perhaps the business model doesn’t work well enough, so now they are charging the very people who bring them business with the burden. Sure, they can go ahead but I don’t think that supports long term goals. They will lose business. 🤷‍♀️
When you consign, you give them an opportunity to make money and they gave you an opportunity to do the same. Once the sale term ends, why are they entitled to anything? They end up donating the stuff anyway if they don’t want to keep it. I think that they would only charge a fee if a consigner took an item back before it reached its expiration date… like basically breaking contract, so to speak.
So, now I’m losing money on items instead of at least calling it even. And that’s after I didn’t get much for my sold items already. Basically for Turn Style, it’s a win for them every time. Even if something doesn’t sell, they at least make $1. I suppose they’re trying to deter consigners from picking stuff up so they can then own the items and continue to try to sell them?
They are making it rather not worth it to consign and deterring people with fees is not going to be good for the stores.  All risk is on the consigner. Sadly, Turn Style quality is also lacking. Not all locations have poor selection but some are selling clothing or home-goods for way more than they are worth. 🫤 Sigh 😔

I have really good luck here consigning my clothes.  The girls here are really friendly and they do a good job at what promotions they are going to be running.  Good place to go "treasure hunting" looking for items that you don't normally find at retail stores.

Let me share a secret with you my friend... Turn Style has the brands sizes and selection you need to start, refresh or change your wardrobe.  They do not buy items out right.  You consign the items, you are paid when they sell.  So they get better quality better brands and nicer things! I even wore a jacket I got from here on my last TV appearance! You will not be disappointed.  This is the 3rd shop on my normal shopping trips.

This store had many options, but was geared towards adult women. I was looking for men's clothing also. Not a bad store, just not what I needed

They don't really take a lot of your items. I brought in jeans (no holes, rips or tears, not Target or Walmart brand either), they took one or two pairs. I would ask what it is they are looking for, but a couple of the ladies are scary. Not sure they are really worth the trip.

Staff is very helpful and friendly, just wish there was a better selection. A majority of things are out dated and for a more mature audience

Bought a nice Columbia jacket for my brother in law but the tag was left on and had to come all the way back to get it removed. Other than hat decent deals.

I made the mistake of purchasing a costume jacket for my husband, who wasn’t with me. I asked the cashier lady what the return policy is. She stated it is seven days with the green tag left on the collar. I returned the item because it didn’t fit my husband, and was told I had to have a store credit and not a return credit on my card. I do not see this policy posted in the store and the receipt I was given didn’t state that. The manager didn’t care about what was communicated to me. Train your staff to communicate accurate messages to customers and post the return policy in your store. A store credit is not valuable to someone who doesn’t normally shop at the store.

Worst experience consigning experience ever. So unprofessional, website misleading to clothes they represent, lost my items. NEVER again.

Wish I could rate this place negative stars.  Brought in 2 suits to be consigned, and was told that "everything is in the system".  Called a couple weeks ago to see if they had sold and the lady who answered the phone said, "Nope, doesn't look like your items have sold yet.  You wanna try back in a week or so?".  Sure... no problem.

I called back today and the lady who answered the phone said "We show you had an account created, but nothing was ever entered on your account".  I asked, "you mean my items never sold"?  She replied "No, it doesn't look like we ever received anything from you", but at least her tone and demeanor were pleasant.  Then she put the manager on the phone.

I can't recall ever dealing with such an unprofessional, condescending shrew in my life.  From the moment she got on the phone she was out for blood.  Instead of trying to understand and resolve the issue, she attacked me for not (knowing) if I still had my receipt!  Oh, my apologies... I'm at work.  You think I keep a pocket full of month old receipts on me at all times?!!  But alas, she was belligerent and condescending stating that "Everyone keeps their receipts from here".  I reasserted my previous statement that I didn't (know) if I had the receipt, and that I would have to check at home.  Everything spiraled downward from there.

I had heard and read that this kind of situation was common at Turn Style, but trusting that most companies and people conduct themselves in honest and ethical ways I thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt.  If I knew that Turn Style fully intended to breach my confidence and trust, I would have taken my items to Goodwill and at least gotten a tax write-off.

THEY TOOK MY PURSE!  A store associate asked me if she could take my purse moments after I walked in the door.  There were several other female shoppers in the store with purses, but I was the only one asked to hand over my purse.  When I asked why, the woman said it was because mine was the 'backpack' style of purse.  I explained that I have a bad back and I can't carry weight on one shoulder and that a small purse balanced equally on each shoulder is my only option.   It is NOT a large purse like a student backpack.  In fact, it is the same or smaller than the average woman's purse.  I told her that I'd been shopping at this store for MANY YEARS with the exact same purse and had never been asked to hand over my purse ever before.  I did hand over my purse for a few minutes but then immediately asked for it back.  I really felt uncomfortable handing over my purse to complete strangers, so I told her this and that I would not be returning unless they either allow me to keep my purse or they take every woman's purse who walked in the door.  This was one of my favorite stores to shop at.  And, that's unfortunate.  Turn Style Maple Grove lost a very loyal customer today.
