Nicely displayed items and very helpful staff. Most fun I've had at a Consignment or Thrift store.

Read some negative reviews before visiting, but still decided to check it out for myself.

It's a very fun store to look around and find all sorts of things for your home. You can also go to the other side of the store and find nearly any type and Era of clothing a person can think of! The clothing that can be found all range from: New name brand sports wear with the tag still on it. There are also the old 70's ski coats, quite a bit of vintage fur coats. This store also has brand new boutique store clothing that looks amazing and at great value. This is a great store to check out when you have soon me free time or am looking to get discounted items!

Super cute thrift store with a pretty big selection. About half the store is home goods with rugs, paintings, decor, and furniture.

They really get a great variety of things to browse through. Housewares are very reasonable, clothes and furniture seem a little high to me. Great place to go when you don't know what you "need" but a little retail therapy is in order!

Great finds, reasonable prices, and good sales when they have them.  The staff is friendly and helpful,  they will give you an honest opinion about the items if you're trying on clothes.  The site is clean and organized. It's one of my favorite places to shop when I'm back in Minnesota.

I have been taking some Korean gifts that I received from my pen pal to try and sell as am thinking of downsizing  for maybe making a move in the next year or so.

Wonderful variety of used higher end women’s clothing. My husband found some nice items as well in the men’s.

Great selection that always changes. Helpful staff and a good place to bring my gently used clothes and home items for consignment. Usually a pretty fast turnaround time when you bring in items for consignment. Recycling instead of buying new is the way to go.

I had read the reviews about their customer service and dreaded going to Turn Style. I am selling a friend's lamp and I wanted other options for selling it. I was pleasantly surprised with the customer service. The woman who helped me gave me 5 star service from beginning to end. I wouldn't hesitate to go back to Turn Style.

my grandma and I went here today didn't think I'd find anything at 1st but than found an awesome Hoodie sweatshirt,3 pairs of pants a thick sweater like shirt super cute!!! and a very nice winter jacket  Calvin Klein only 43$ plus they were having a 20% off on All regular priced items with coat pants sweatshirt and sweater shirt about 83$ really great deal today and I love the home section of the store and the lady checking us out was so nice I was telling her about the one I use to go to in cokn rapids closer to my home and that they left and now it is becoming a music school. I highly recommend this turn style to anyone and everyone plus As I was leaving an elderly woman was bringing things in to donate I asked my grandmother if I should help her she didn't know but than we both said well and I turned and asked the woman said yes if you don't mind your an angel I helped her get the things in she said thank you so much your a gem I said no worries your welcome have a great weekend it made me feel good to help out plus I made my grandma proud her and my grandparents raised me

Recently bought a used liquor cabinet for my recent college graduate son who is moving into his first house. It was $80 for a nice piece of furniture, and they wouldn't budge off the price, but it was still a good deal. He also left with a ton of good clothes for less then $50 that he can wear to his new job.

They have fairly new items and some new. They have nice furniture, tables, wall hanging, just about everything at great prices!! And for that reason I love turn style!!!

It's always really busy here, especially during lunch on the week days, but I'm always able to find someone to help. Clothes rotate pretty frequently and always a good selection. Some items are overpriced, but if you consider the brands you are getting and the quality, you are getting a good deal.

I wish I had turnstyle like stores in every city that I have lived in. What a place. What designs. I get mesmerized looking at their inventory. Best store ever !!

Found some cool brand name clothing for very cheap! And these clothes were in tip top shape! Yes, more expensive than a goodwill but I recommend it because these clothes are brand names and in very good condition.

This is one of my favorite Turnstyles! The staff is great. Good turn over of furniture merchandise so I stop in fairly often I'd I'm looking for something specific.

Good selection, both clothes & home goods. Sometimes they will take my things to sell, sometimes not. Check before going to see if you need to have reservations (unless at some point they get rid of that system which would be nice)

The best store for great used and new furniture and furnishings and great prices. This is not the Goodwill.  This is great design and was expensive when new, they only deal with high quality at really good prices.

I get most of my high end shoes here. Some have never been worn. Love the furniture and household as well. Great way to save dollars on the things you've always wanted.

My seventeen year old daughter and I were visiting in the Minneapolis area from Columbus, Ohio.  We love to shop resale and found TurnStyle online.  We both found items to fit our style at reasonable prices.  We are planning to visit at least two locations of TurnStyle while back in the Minneapolis area.

I used to LOVE the Plymouth Turn Style.  Now when I walk in there is a lil' thrift store aroma!  My Mom & I have shopped there for probably 25 years!  It use to have such special clothing EVERY time we went there.  It was a treasure!  Today, I $pent almost $400. on clothing.  You know that FEELING you get when you walk into a room & you know someone is talking smack about you?  Well,  I walked away from the register w/ my MANY bags, & quickly turned back around & I could sense the snake~like older (but beautiful) woman  "RIPPING"  me to Debra, who is a Christian missionary.  I grew up in Wayzata.  I KNOW how snooty some of the FEMALES can be.  I was THE ODD GIRL OUT!  It really pissed me off.  I returned the items I planned on donating, CHOOSING to $upport the Hodge Twins instead.  NO one needs to feel 2nd hand @ a 2nd hand store.  People deserve to be treated w/ RESPECT & DIGNITY no matter who they are, or what they wear, or buy!  I really LOVED the Christ~centered music playing while I $hopped.  It was soothing & uplifting, & I made a large purchase to $upport a Christ~centered store.  Did I make a mistake?  Perhaps. ***** ALL the clerks' for the past 25 years have been nothing less than KIND & WONDERFUL.  All it takes is ONE MEAN GIRL to screw it up for several returning customers'.  Word of mouth is BIG!  Please consider HOW employees treat customer's.  Who knows,  MAYBE,  just maybe you will be working 4 them!!!!  This is in NO WAY to trash Turn Style (Plymouth).  I hope it wakes people up to BE KIND!!  You have NO IDEA what battle people are facing!!!!!!  Thank~Q.  ~M.  Shalom~

They were very professional. I expected them to take more of my stuff but I understand because they know what people want and what sells.

I went here yesterday with a friend and wanted to get a pair of boots. They were 37 dollars and they looked a little beat up so I wanted to see if I could get anything off of them because I didn't feel like they were fully worth the 37 dollars. The first employee who helped me out was awesome they seemed like they was willing to drop the price. They looked at the other employee who was there and the other employee said that they couldn't do any less on the price because they claim to go for a third of the price. I would have been fine with like the 30 dollar shoes but they were not worth the near forty dollars that I would have to spend to get them.

I checked it out pretty quickly. I arrived at 635 they close at 7 p.m. for you store the stuff was super nice and great condition ... Very similar to A Goodwill .. large assortment of things to choose from winter coats that were really nice Columbia North face ect for about $60 ish..
They had shoes that were very clean and looking very nice and they had Nikes for like twenty bucks 18 bucks and I thought that was probably your best bet getting stuff they're really good deals on the shoes if you want to wear somebody else's shoes if you don't mind that type of thing. Which I do not as long as they're in good shape and clean... Add some nice couches and furniture  but they were pricey .. Not as pricey as the brand new ones though . Lots of name brands . Worth taking A peek 😁

Overall a good selection and prices are not bad. Staff usually pleasant. Id like them to do better folding my clothes after purchase. They just stuff them in the bag..

To clear, for women's clothing or the homes side, this would likely be a 5 star review. However, i'm a man, shopping in the ever dwindling men's section, and it's getting increasingly sad. I'm not sure if it's a vicious circle causing thing (fewer men's items means things don't sell as fast, means fewer people are bringing in men's clothing and so on) but whatever the cause the "department" is half or less of its size from 18 months or so ago.
Unfortunately, the quality of items offered has dwindled as well, a recent visit saw several Target store label items in the mix.
Pricing is largely fine, but a few brands are priced well above their relative value, while others can be had for an amazing deal- if you are consigning good, but lesser known men's brands, be sure to make them aware of it. Again it goes back to the primary issue of low volume, low selection. The buyers likely just don't see enough to be aware of an item's worth.
Great staff, and as noted, likely much higher rating for other departments.

Whoever does the buying for this location could do much better. There are several items that don't belong on hangers. This is supposed to be better than Goodwill, but there is nothing in here that I can't find there( (as far as the clothing). The shoe selection is pretty good, and my husband did find an AMAZING jacket, so there is definitely promise.

I asked the gal at the front desk a question about the rings, she looked at me, but literally didn't answer me. It was not busy. I bought a jacket and a picture then went to check out. Absolutely  NO smile but stone faced as before. She was rude to me when I asked for a bag. When I left, I didn't hear a "thank you" I felt very overlooked and not valued at all. Just a grandma that wasntworth it!  After years of retail, this was very disappointing.  Wint be bavk...

I work in customer service. The employees desperately need to learn volume control and awareness. I visited for the first time today and spent the entire time listening to the staff (including a VERY old woman) loudly and incessantly complain about a new 15 year old employee, among other things. How about mentoring that employee instead of disrespecting them? Based on the other reviews this seems to be an ongoing issue that is not being addressed. I would have bought several items, but I was so embarrassed by their behavior that I left and will not be returning.

If you want to sell clothing, you have to make an appointment for Thursdays and Saturdays—walk-ins are only accepted the other days. They have a limit of 35 items per day and you have to have the items “cleaned, pressed, and on hangers” and they don’t look at boxes or bags. I had never been here before, so would have appreciated this being more clear before I drove 20 minutes out and carried my items in, and the woman being even the slightest bit nicer about it.

Very inconvenient for consigners.  During Covid19 masktime, consigners must wait in the store while their items are inspected for accpetability.  This often takes up to 45 minutes.  If you call ahead to determine waittime, you get a very lengthy recorded message, but you can't speak to anyone in the store.  Very customer unfriendly.

Did not have the experience that I normally do here. Lady that checked in my items was flippant and took longer than usual to check on my items. She did not see quality either. I brought in some Pottery Barn items and a jewelry box from Italy. Not sure if I will bring my items here anymore.

I dropped off a number of clothing, jewelry, and household items (placing in clear bin and hanging items as instructed) on Tuesday. Returned Tuesday night to see which items were marked for consignment to discover that my items were entered into the computer system under 3 different consignee accounts and non of the items under my actual account.
- At I not stopped in and discovered this, I would be out a lot of money. How many other items that I have dropped off never make it into your system under my account.

I am a new consignee and brought in items a 2nd batch of items earlier this week with labels such as Jones New York, Henri Bendel, IMagnin & Victoria's Secret.   None of my items were accepted.  That's fine.  I tried to get the attention of the woman who waited on me, but she would not make eye contact and turned her back to me to do some busy work.  Perhaps she was having a day, I don't know, but I experienced her behavior as incredibly dismissive and rude.  Clearly she didn't want to engage with me any further.

Here's a customer service tip - have the difficult conversations!  I'm a new consignee.  Provide me with some feedback so I can hit the bullseye next time.  I don't mind constructive criticism, I just can't stand rudeness!  However, based on my experience, I will not be back.

To be honest, this review has been a long time coming. I have had a great experience with the return I get in my clothing, but the customer service of one of the employees has been horrific each time I’ve been here. Same day. Skinny, shoulder length, dirty blonde hair. Very unwelcoming, hurrying me as I hang my items, demanding. Definitely not customer service that makes me feel welcome or appreciated in their space. Very disappointing. I have had repeated experiences with this person, which is why I am writing this after my 3rd or 4th encounter with the same attitude. Every other employee is very nice and welcoming, but the specific lady I am referring to honestly ruins the culture and atmosphere for it all

Ridiculously expensive. If I wanted to buy new, I would go to Dayton's or some other high end store. They want new prices for very used items!!!

The general snooty attitude from staff here is shocking based on the thrift store  items that adorn their shelves. Better deals and happy smiles await across the street at goodwill.  Save your time and skip this place unless you masochists are bored on a tuesday afternoon.

Whatever happened to customer service and greeting people with a smile? If you don't like working at your job...get a new job! The staff is so mean. I use to love going to Plymouth turnstyle, but not anymore. The staff does not make me feel welcome. I had a bin full of clothes on hold behind the counter that I was going to purchase while I still looked around and they acted like my bin was such an inconvenience. I would think they would want the business.

I’ve been here twice in 6 months now and each time the staff has been incredibly rude right as I walk over to the consignment counter. They say “you’re not supposed to bring in your clothes first, you have to check in first. Did you not read the sign outside” and “we only accept a certain amount of the items you bring it. Your brought too many in so we didn’t even look at them”- and they did not tell me this upon dropping them off, only when I picked them up…The tone and disrespectful attitude are outrageous. I was not welcomed into the store and did not feel like they wanted me as a customer. I will take my business elsewhere next time. Let’s hope other locations and their staff are more courteous towards their customers.

Let me just start by saying if I could give Turn Style Consignment zero stars I would. I have been a consigner here since they opened there first store.  For years, I consigned my clothing and received 50% of the profits & was told that would "never change" because I was "grandfather in" at 50%.  Well, yesterday when I went to pick up my check I noticed that I had now been demoted to 45% (the same amount all new consigners get). When I called to get this straightened out I was told that everyone is at 45% now.  Apparently they do not understand the meaning of the term "grandfathered in".  In addition to this mistreatment, they have now implemented a new store policy that states if you want your unsold clothing back, you have to buy it back from them at the rate of $1.00 per item.  Yes, you heard it right, you pay them $1 per item to get the clothes THAT YOU OWN back! Just one more way this company abuses their consigners.  Bottom line, unless you want to be treated like dirt, you'll take your items elsewhere for consignment.

Real disappointed in this store. I used to work at the Roseville location & that’s maybe why my standards were so high when I decided to come shop at the Plymouth location. I asked if they could call over to Roseville & have them check my account for me & the cashier responded, “Oh. Are you buying something?” I replied, “well, not yet because I’d like to know how much I have on my account first.” And she says, “Well I can’t call over there unless you’re buying something. You could call yourself, though.” And walked away.

I couldn’t help but to laugh because I know that was a lie. I know how the systems work. I know what the policies are. It just blew my mind. They also had a ton of things out on the floor that was supposed to be next season items & were even dated for next year. And so many items that were from June (I went in beginning of October) & weren’t even marked down. Lol I’ll probably not go here again, to be honest.

Just left this place after wasting hours of my afternoon.  I took my clothes in and left them about 1:45 to 2:00. They told me to come back at 3:30 and that would be my turn.  At 4:10 I left with my clothes and nobody cared. Most of the clerks were eating and talking.  One of them said to me, Oh Good-bye.

First 4 of them ignored me cause apparently they lost some brownies somewhere and all scrambling to look for it. Then I say where do I check out. Ignore...then I say it again she's like up front.. I said where is up front? no one is there. In a distracted crabby voice She's like just go there and wait they will take care of u. Then I get up there and she adds up my items.  I only have a 100 on me and she says I'm sorry I can't take that no change. I might have went and got a card but they didn't deserve my money and I didn't need the items that bad. What kind of store don't have access to change?
