Such a fun, friendly place to hunt for treasures.

This place always has hidden gems. Even if you leave empty handed you will enjoy just a brief around this place. Take your time don't walk around too fast you may miss something hidden in plain sight. And don't forget to look up. Even though upstairs isn't open there is alot of lighting and artwork above your head.

The key is to make sure you stop by every so often

So happy that I found The Refind Room. I was looking for a couch and some other pieces in my furniture hunt. I stumbled upon a very nice large couch that I loved and the price was perfect! Before I discovered The Refind Room, I had looked at Weekends Only Furniture. I was shocked they wanted so much for low quality furniture. I am a young professional who is on a budget, but I love nice things! So in came The Refind Room. I actually found them through a Google search and went as soon as they opened. The lady working in the store (I didn't catch her name, but she was so nice to me) helped me with my questions and recommended a mover for my couch. The company she recommended was awesome! I'm so in love with my couch. I am going to come back soon once I get a little more money saved up so I can get some of that amazing artwork!!

Bar none the best home consignment store in St. Louis!  Beautiful pieces that are in excellent condition.  Items for all styles.  I have purchased tables, decorative accessories, chairs and a couch, but they have so much more - tabletop, lamps, mirrors, artwork, dining room sets, etc.  Completely reasonable prices for high end quality pieces.  If you see something that you love, buy it!  The inventory moves quickly!

I found this place online through a listing on  estatesales.net. I had been looking for this Mackenzie Childs table for awhile and was lucky enough to find one at The Refind Room that they would ship. The pricing was fair and Sean was wonderful to work with even FaceTiming so I could see the piece more completely. The table arrived packed to perfection and is even more beautiful in person! I will definitely keep The Refind Room on my radar for future estate purchases even though I cannot visit in person because of distance. If you are local, I would definitely check them out!

What an amazing experience!  I have owned a silkscreen print since the 90's and could never find any information on the artist on my own.  Within our 20 minute on-line appointment, Shawn was able to identify the artist, give me background information, determine current value, and discuss buying and selling trends with the current market.  Top notch advice.  What a hidden gem.  The Refind Room, easy scheduling with Suzanne and Shawn...all rock stars!

The Refind Room is AMAZING. It's full of the most beautiful and unique pieces. Today I went in search of a very specific sized mirror, 69"×29", and wouldn't you know they had it!

The Refind Room is more than a store it's an experience.  The pieces weren't just beautiful they also had a story. From a 17th century clock to a brick mold from India to a set of centuries old doors set in a custom made cabinet.  The owner was very hands on during my visit offering suggestions and details. I had a great time and I look forward to returning soon.

We moved recently and everyone at The Refind Room was so amazing!!  We have completely changed styles and had a lot of furniture and accessories to sell. They came to our house and went over everything they wanted to consign for us. Our movers brought a lot to the store. We had to put some things in storage, and after the move we met at my storage and they took more items to the store. We needed to keep some items with us at the new house until they were replaced. Today they came to my new house and picked up everything else. They have the items priced fairly and it always stays 50/50 for how much we get when they sell. They don’t change the percentage secretly like some other consignment stores. Sean and the whole team are top notch!  They know furniture brands, and what they are worth!!  Thanks to everyone at the shop for all you have done for us.

If you’re looking for quality, gently used furniture, accessories, art, etc for your house, check them out,  you won’t be disappointed!   The huge showroom is perfectly merchandised too!!  If you have items to sell, give them a call, the owners are super sweet, helpful and knowledgeable!

We've found a lot of cool, ubqiue decorations for our home at refind room. They have a wide collection of art work, lights, and small pieces of furniture. Their inventory change over frequently so it's worth swinging by semi-frequently can pay off. They also do a decent job of posing some pieces online, so you may be able to find something before you go.

We are a consignment furniture store that specializes in designer, higher-end, and luxury products and we curate the store to showcase the best preowned furniture and art in St. Louis. We also carry brand new on-trend artwork direct from the manufacturer. Because we carry brands such as Baker, Roche Bobois, Theodore Alexander, Swaim, Councill, among others, our prices may seem "high" to those who weren't expecting luxury brands. However, in context, our prices are extremely, sometimes ridiculously reasonable. As an example, we recently sold a brand new Niermann Weeks glass top dining table for 75% off retail price. Our brand new art is also generally priced at 50% lower than retail. We don't operate on a liquidation model, but one that respects the consignor's interest and the inherent value of a piece, while pricing reasonably and responsibly. We put emphasis on carrying the best product and then we price it fairly, based on the manufacturer, condition and style. We take our obligation very seriously to please both consignors and customers. Those who understand the cost of new furniture, especially as it relates to quality pieces, will love our store and our pricing. 

Lot’s of creative vignettes to see. And occasionally you can snag a deal. Just be cautioned: resell is not cheap here! But I have never been disappointed.

Great locally owned furniture store with lightly worn and high quality household items. High end art, lamps, shelving, tables and chairs, couches and more! Prices on some things could be a little more competitive, but they do run regular sales. Friendly and knowledgeable staff make every trip in pleasant!

On the pricing- we research items and we do our best to price at 1/2 the present retail of items, give or take depending on condition, style, popularity. However, we can make mistakes- especially if there is no label on the item or if it gets mis-priced. Next time you are in the store and you see something like this, let us know and we will correct it. We do our best but there can be mistakes with as many items as we carry and the inventory flow in and out is crazy! It's definitely NOT our intention to sell for more than retail. We're not sure which cabinet you are referencing, but will investigate. Anytime something seems off, feel free to give us a call to discuss 314-962-7666. Staff member was very friendly and art for sale was beautiful and reasonably priced. But the furniture seemed overpriced. For a specific example, they had white cabinet with glass doors. I recognized it as I have the same one in my own home and it’s from IKEA. They had a price tag on it for $100 more than buying directly from IKEA.

Thanks for shopping with us Alexis! Our inventory changes every day, so you may find smaller pieces this week or next week or so on. Keep shopping (and check out our website.) We do buy/consign from fine and luxury homes, but we also have many, many ordinary sized furniture pieces. Also, we carry a large amount of high-end or designer pieces, so our prices are based on the original retail of these items (Baker, Henredon, Oly, Hickory White, Arhaus, etc.) Considering this, they are an enormous bargain at our prices! We also try really hard to bring in items that are unique and one-of-a-kind and we have brand new items. We encourage any one who shops with us to ask us about pricing when they are at the store. We'd be happy to give more context and background on particular pieces, so that our customers have all the information they need to make informed choices about their furniture purchases!

They had a beautiful selection, but it was extremely overpriced (in my opinion). The furniture they had was also REALLY big. You can tell that they purchased the pieces from large homes. I wasn’t able to find anything unfortunately- I went looking for night stands - but that’s not to say that this spot wouldn’t be perfect for someone else!

A.Vega- Thanks for coming into our store and leaving a review. Our customers' opinions are important to us. We are happy that you appreciated some of the unique and outstanding quality items we have, which obviously should be priced higher than more generic pieces. Some of our items really are one-of-a-kind and special, so thank you for saying so. Hopefully you saw the wide range of pricing in our store e.g., we have some chairs for $69, lamps for $25, loveseats for $299, art for $19, and so forth. We're  that disappointed that you didn't get excited about the new items. Some customers do love to mix vintage and new, and love a larger selection of items (we don't carry any "new" furniture - only some new decor items.) We like being a bit different from a traditional resale store by offering unexpected pieces. But understand it may not be for everyone. We're always walking the line between having enough merchandise to satisfy our customers' needs and not making the store feel crowded. So we're sorry you felt it was crowded when you were there. Next time you're in, let us know about any improvements that would make your shopping experience outstanding!

The store had a lot of unique finds but is fairly pricey for a resale shop. While there were many interesting items and artwork I was a little disappointed by how many new things were in the store to be purchased. Also the store is a little over crowded given the price point so it's hard to see some of the items and there's nowhere to move other items around very easily.

Alot of awesome stuff to look at, however the store attendee did not even acknowledge I was in the room. I was wondering around the store for 20 min. I get being busy with another customer but a simple hello or welcome would make me feel like a valued customer. Not sure I will go back as there are many good antique stores in town.

Mary- We are sad that you didn't enjoy your experience. We work very hard to make sure every customer feels welcome in our store, so it's disappointing to know that you felt slighted. It sounds like the lady was helping another customer and walked past you without saying "excuse me" and then "made a face" after your husband cracked a joke about the name of the store. Of course this wouldn't make you feel great. However, you should know that we never "judge a books by their cover" (and we do not hire people who do) and we treat everyone with respect, regardless of whether they buy nothing, one item, or many. Since the woman who helped you is a kind person, we do regret and apologize for any unfriendliness that you perceived during your visit.

Unfortunately the lady working on Wednesday evening was not kind- she was unfriendly & came off as superficial.

She basically walked right through me when I guess I was standing in her way, no excuse me or anything .. I was really taken back. She was walking with some guy in a blazer going to show him something on the floor, I’m assuming.

Then a short bit later, after she acknowledged us … my husband tried to lighten up the mood- cracking a joke with her about “finding things that we’ve lost there” (refind room) when she finally asked if she could help us with anything … she then made a face behind his back. I was not impressed and of course took offense again to her unprofessionalism.

It was a bizarre visit honestly. We were ready to spend thousands on 4 rooms worth and her energy completely killed the vibe. We won’t be returning.

Treat people better and be kind. You are no better than others and truly shouldn’t judge books by their cover.

We are so sorry for your experience!!!! I am the owner and I wasn't at the store that day. However, it's my understanding that this occurred when we only had one sales associate at the store and that she was unable to physically move other furniture out of the way to unfold the sleeper sofa. We try and staff our store to accommodate requests for extra assistance, but in this instance, she wasn't able to do the moving (the coffee table & chairs had to be moved aside.) What we should have done during your telephone call, was to anticipate your needs to see the sofa unfolded and request that you set up an appointment at a time where we had extra help to assist the unfolding of the sofa so that we would be able to give you an adequate demonstration and so that you would have had our full attention. We could have called another employee into the store to assist or I would have been there to help you. Thank you very much for alerting us to this need and thank you for reminding us that when a customer requests to look at a sleeper sofa, she wants to see it unfolded! It seems obvious, but we do not get them regularly and we made a mistake here. Hopefully you understand and will forgive us. We do try very hard to give our customers excellent customer service and we hope you will give us another chance.

I called this business looking for a sofa sleeper. The owner informed me that they had a Blu Dot sofa sleeper in stock and that it was $1,200.00. I asked if it was a traditional or modern style sofa, and the owner said she did not know because she had never pulled it out. I informed her that I would come by to check it out. I arrived within the hour. She was helping another customer when I arrived and I kindly waited. When she asked if she could help me, I informed her that I was the one who had called about the sleeper sofa, to which the owner said, "Oh, here it is." I walked over to begin examining it and in less than a minute, I turned around to ask a question and she had disappeared. I waited, and discovered that the owner is now talking to the previous customer. When the owner noticed me standing there, she asks if I have any questions. I state that I'd like to pull the sofa out to see the sleeper. She states, "Oh, I can't do that." Well, how am I to examine if if I can't pull it out? She goes into a mantra of, "This furniture would have to be moved, there's not enough room to even let it out. No one has asked in five years to see it..." I ask why she had not let me know over the phone that I would not be able to see it. She just kept repeating the same excuses that didn't make sense and saying that she was sorry....For what it's worth, I have never written a negative online review. But this bizarre experience was too much!

Poor business model.  Sent photos, measurements of item interested in consigning as instructed by associate..  No response, not even a 'not interested. '
