Bought many books from here. Dealt with owners specifically. The communication and accuracy of books left no doubt this is my premier book store. If you have bad experience here I must blame it on your own communication and knowledge. if by chance Schilb was in error. IF.. I have overwhelming confidence they will make it fair and right. If you've never bought an expensive book then this is the place to feel confident they will make you feel secure in your purchase.

My first experience in dealing with Schilb Antiquarian was extremely positive. I purchased some volumes at their auction and was delighted that (1) no additional premium was added to the purchase price and (2) the books were shipped in-house at no additional charge. I corresponded with Scott via email, and he responded within an hour of my email. I give this antiquarian firm my highest recommendation: 5 stars all the way!

I bought the 1e edition of the Phantom of the Opera (1911) online. The service was impeccable and fast. My exchanges with the staff were lovely and rich. I recommend strongly this Antiquarian! Even buying online was a charm! I can’t wait to visit in person!
