About This Store

Red Barn Crafts & Antiques is a unique antique store located in Hermann, Missouri. The store is divided into two distinct locations - one in the heart of downtown Hermann that is more craft-oriented, and the other in an actual red barn that houses a vast and eclectic collection of antiques.

The red barn location is described as a "wonder to behold" with an "antique avalanche" of items, featuring "narrow aisles, but unlimited possibilities." The owner is praised for their deep knowledge and passion for antiques, with customers describing them as a "natural historian" who is "genuinely knowledgeable and helpful."

The store's impressive inventory includes a wide range of true antiques and even treadle sewing machines. Customers describe the shopping experience as an adventure, with one likening it to a "Pintrest-ers Paradise" filled with "hidden treasures from yesteryear." The owner even provides flashlights to help customers navigate the "antique avalanche" and discover the store's many hidden gems.

Despite the somewhat disorganized layout, with "narrow aisles" and "lot of stuff not real organized," reviewers consistently praise the overall experience, describing it as "a little bit of everything" and "the next best place to heaven!" The store's unique character and the owner's dedication to preserving and sharing the history of the antiques they offer have clearly made a lasting impression on those who have visited.

Loved both places. The one right in the heart of downtown is more craft oriented but lovely. The actual red barn is a wonder to behold with everything they have there. If looking for a treadle sewing machine (I'm not) then this is your place to shop. John at the barn genuinely knowledgeable and helpful with his suggestions.

I love it. Great place. If ya have time stop in and get lost. There's so many awesome things there. You can almost spend the entire day in there.

This place is Pintrest-ers Paradise. We could have spent hours there and not seen all they had to offer. It's a barn chock full of hidden treasures from yesteryear. This is not a showcase of neatly arranged antiques...it's an antique avalanche with narrow aisles, but unlimited possibilities. The owner even has flashlights to help you on your "expedition".
