Found this wonderful store while sitting in Dr office.   Thought we would stop by and our Drs nurse told us she shops there all the time Hubby and I were not disappointed. This is the perfect place to buy good to very-good furniture. Some style might be dated, but mostly sturdy furniture might be an electic mix of your personal favorites.

Nice variety of quality furniture.  Inventory changes regularly. We visit about every other month and see plenty of new things, and purchase something on average every 3rd or 4th visit.

Visited here today and love this place. The two ladies working greeted me with a warm welcome, answered all of my questions and were extremely kind.
From the storefront I expected the inside to be rather small, but was pleasantly surprised at how large the inside was. They also have quite the selection of items for sale. I'll certainly be adding this as a place to visit frequently.

Such a great store! Very unassuming from the exterior of the strip mall, but I was amazed by their selection of pieces.  The ladies working there were very friendly and helpful. They also work with a gentlemen who can deliver for a nominal fee, which is a great option for larger pieces.

For items this nice and in most cases excellent condition I don't know where someone could find such reasonable prices.  We try to be fair to both buyers and sellers alike. Neat little consignment shop.

I browse through here every once in a while and there's always something unique when I go. I think the prices are slightly high here although they have a neat little system where the price of their items drop as time goes on. They also seem open to a bit of negotiation which can make things fit the prices better.

Even if you're not looking to buy it's worth a browse.

I have been wanting to try this place for a while.  Went in this morning and then person working was talking to the only other customer in a rude tone.  I walked around for 15 minutes and was never greeted.  A simple "good morning " goes a long way.  As I was leaving, that person was at the counter and still never spoke to me.  Won't be back!

I'm very sorry we weren't open on time the day you stopped by. We do try to open at 10am but there are times when circumstances may cause us or our employees to be late. We are very sorry for the inconvenience this caused you.

I have no idea what this store is like except that when I went at 10:11am no one was there. I tried calling the store, just to make sure, idk maybe they forgot to unlock the door. There was no answer. If they are not going to be open at 10, don’t advertise that the store is open. Change your hours or get better employees.

I'm so sorry you had a bad experience with the local mover to whom we referred you.  He has moved items for hundreds of our customers over the years and is generally very well liked and has done an excellent job for most.  I'm very sorry it did not work out for you in this case and we have let him know to be more careful in the future.
Regarding timing of payments, items selling between the 1st and 15th of the month payout on the 1st of the following month.  Items selling between the 15th and end of the month pay on the 15th of the following month.
We do charge .50 to cover postage to mail checks, but consignors are welcome to come in and pick up checks in person as well.
Again, I'm very sorry you had a bad experience in our shop as we try to make everyone happy, both sellers and buyers.

I first noticed the store when I moved to Kansas City less than a year ago. It’s a nice little store,   few pieces to choose from, but the proprietor was willing to negotiate. Recently I purchased a leather couch from the store and was also consigning my leather sectional at the same time.  The proprietor gave me the name of a gentleman who they  utilized to move furniture for the store, although I don’t think he was a direct employee.

The man returned my phone call and told me upfront it would be $50 an hour  to move the furniture. Seemed reasonable so I said OK. The day the furniture exchange took place, this man and his helper dropped my couch on the way out the door, placed it in a pick up truck bed. There was no damage to the furniture  when it left my house, but when it arrived at the store there were scratches and scuff marks  that the proprietor pointed out to me.  These defects according to her lowered the price. I didn’t argue because I had not taken pictures of the couch before it left my house, not realizing I needed to do that.
The leather couch that was delivered to my house, which was also dropped on the way in the door, had torn  leather on the back of the couch near the bottom,  damage that was not there in the store.

The mover guy quoted me a price of $50 an hour. He was at my house for a total of 25 minutes, and since I only live a couple miles from the store we’re talking tops 45 minutes. However, he charged me $60 because he said it was over time.

I went into the store within a day or two, and was quite surprised that the proprietor did not
seem to be concerned about the damage on either piece of furniture. I was advised that I didn’t have to use them I could’ve used someone else, but when the owner of a store  presents the details for a person that will move furniture, I thought this person was known to the proprietor. Maybe not. I don’t think the proprietor was interested in hearing about damages.

The couch sold pretty quickly, within days of arriving in the store. Payments are made on the first and 15th of the month, the couch was sold well before the first. I went in again to inquire about my check, and was offhandedly told it would be mailed on the 15th,  no explanation as to why it wasn’t mailed on the first, and I didn’t ask at that point.

So I get the check this weekend, it was probably mailed on 15 May. When I open the envelope I couldn’t believe my eyes. This proprietor charges $.50 to send a check for something consigned,  without which the store would not be in business. That was the last straw, I won’t be returning to that store. I would caution others who want to purchase or consign something to take pictures of the item before it leaves your house and before the item leaves the store, if you are using the van and the truck suggested by the proprietor.

We traveled to Kansas City for the Thanksgiving holiday from South Dakota and wanted to shop for some furniture at furniture consignment stores so I called ahead to this one for their hours.  I was told by the person that I spoke to that this one was open 10-5 on Black Friday so we drove the 20 miles from our hotel in Overland Park to this store and arrived 30 minutes before they were supposed to open at 10 AM.  We were surprised that there wasn't much of a store front to identify the store when we arrived and since we had other places to go that day we were hoping that they might open a little early since we were sitting out in front of the store waiting for the them to open.  Not only did they not open a few minutes early but at 10:10 AM the lights still were off and there was no sign of life whatsoever so we left.   We feel that it was very unprofessional for them to not open on time and it was a big red flag that this store probably wasn't a place that we wanted to do business. It was a total waste of an hour of our time and the miles on our vehicle to even make the attempt to shop there and we won't be back.

Hi Amber, very sorry to hear you were disappointed in our store.  We try to price items fairly for both buyers and sellers.  Our prices are a small fraction of 'new' for items in good to excellent 'like new' condition.  Very sorry to hear our employee was not friendly and we are dealing with that issue with her.  We try to be super friendly and helpful to everyone who walks thru the door and I'm very sorry to hear we failed you in that regard that day.

Honestly I'd love to give a -100, but only lets me do 1 star.
Prices are outrageously over priced!! Staff is snooty at best.
NOT worth it!! Don't waste your time or $$.
