A true surplus store. It was fun to hunt through and see all that they had. Nice guys running the place. My son wanted to go for his birthday and the guys were very nice to him and even gave him some good deals. We would visit again.

Owner Response

We LOVE young collectors who are just getting started out. They are the future of our hobby! Hope to have you back again soon…

Great store! I have been a customer there for the past several years. Alamo has a wide array of military items for domestic and foreign countries. I never leave disappointed!

Owner Response

We have served E. J. and his avatar, the God of Thunder, well. May his kind words assist us on our journey to the great Valhalla.

Very helpful. Courteous, informative and very fair. A guy's place....

Owner Response

Every guy needs a place like the Alamo to hang out at. Just imagine if Cheers had a baby with a museum that actively traded little morsels of history… that you could take home with you. Even better, you could learn something new each time you visited, something much more interesting than what Clifford’s mom was making for dinner later that night…

Tons of items- lots of bins and drawers full of items to dig through. I wish I had more time to look at everything. Prices ranged from surprisingly low to fair retail. I wish I lived closer so I could visit again.

Owner Response

We wish you did too, Brody. Plan a bit more time to dig for treasure the next time you’re in St. Louis!

Owner Response

Well, Mr Randon, we’re still waiting on that book report… 😜
