Best thrift store in Bozeman. The best quality stuff and the fairest prices. I have a YouTube channel where I film my thrift store finds. Someone saw my channel (Jose) and left a negative feedback for rethink saying that this store goes out of its way to give me the “good donations”. This isn’t even remotely true although I do find a lot of great stuff at this store. They have tons of name brand clothing for great affordable prices. I will always highly recommend this thrift store

One of the best thrift stores I’ve ever been, too! I walked out with so much stuff and it was all either gently used or basically brand new. Only spent about $40 and it was a lot. 10/10 recommend!

Super inexpensive pricing (clothing is $1.50, a little more for name brands in perfect condition). Workers were friendly and helped me navigate the store.

I've seen reviews about the prices being high but this is actually one of the least expensive thrift stores in Bozeman. I've left with several bags of clothes for $20 or less (total). They have serious discount days so if you're low income watch out for those. They've always been kind and helpful to me and I've found some incredible pieces there, like a $200 beaded gown (with tags) for $15. Check it out before you decide how you feel about it.

Even free clothes drives are throwing away much of what they get these days.  If you're just looking to go dumpster diving there are plenty of other public alleyways to hit up.

This is a lovely little thrift store that is always seems to have great quality stuff at good prices. The also have a discount day once a week to get you an even better deal. Highly recommend.

I LOVE me some Rethink!  I have never walked out without something & have always been pleased with my purchases.  Staff are friendly & helpful.  Rethink uses a punch card system to give discounts on future purchases based on one's current purchases.  PLUS 50% Off Fridays make my day! Yep, love me some Rethink.

This is a fabulous place to shop! There is a wide variety of men's and women's good quality clothing, purses, shoes, household items and so much more. Everything is so clean, as is the store. The clerks are wonderfully helpful and friendly. If you love shopping for good quality, gently used merchandise then this is the store for you!

Awesome thrift store! The owner Mindy is a great person and gets lots of really cool things. Prices are more than fair and there is a lot of nice clothes, shoes, kitchenware houseware, furniture  and even tools.

I love going into the store.  They have new stuff all of the time.  The store is kept clean and the quality of stuff is good.  You won't find broken or trashed items there. They have 1/2 price Fridays and a lot of times furniture on sale.  The owner takes pride in her business and is always going to auctions to try and get more variety in her store.  There are many times I have gone in to get 1 or 2 things and come out with a lot more!!  I love the store and the staff. I highly recommend this store to everyone!!

Hands down the best Thrift Store in the Valley.  I know I will regret putting this online, but the stuff they have in stock here is incredible. I have found key wardrobe pieces every season since they opened - for only a couple dollars - new or like new. The selection of highly decorated jeans is absolutely incredible - not my style, but I've seen the same things here for $4 that are at the re-use boutique down the street for $40, every day of the year, for as long as I can remember. Things only get better and better as the store is around longer. Most all of the staff is extremely friendly, helpful, and simply fantastic.

My favorite feature - the owner makes a special point of reaching out to customers who start small businesses, and keeping a stack of their cards to had out. She always has a selection of cards on hand for local businesses that have stellar quality. #letsguide

Found some great designer items for real thrift store prices. Paid around $3 per clothing article which were originally worth over 75$ per piece. Not a huge place, but very friendly, not crowded, easy to shop and find some treasures

Good quality, friendly staff. I've need shopping there for months and found high quality tv's, Xbox 360s, cool tools, pick axes, coats, Calvin Klein jeans, radar detectors, and a climbing harness among other gems. It's a great thrift store, and the only one I'll donate to.

This is a lovely thrift store that has everything from glass ware to prints and clothes. Always adding new items so come back daily

I buy books from this thrift store from time to time, always have had good experiences with the staff and usually come away with a few keepers. That said, I feel like their inventory can be a bit stale, and sometimes the shelves look the same between visits. Definitely worth stopping in, but I prefer Sacks overall.

A little more "upscale" than Salvation Army and Goodwill and a good variety of unique items at reasonable prices.  Recommended.

They way over charge. It's a thrift store not a second hand boutique. You can find some good stuff but they charged double what goodwill charges??

Prices can be a bit high for the quality. This is a good spot for baby and toddler things, though. Most items are $1 - $2. They do also have some nice craft supplies.

Did you the sign? 75% off furniture? Obviously not. 


So expensive! I didn't look at the clothes, maybe they were cheaper. But the furniture was so crazy. A small beat up old table was 300!! And a tiny beat up baby rocking chair was 40. I'm talking like 2 foot tall, scratched up garbage thing. Nothing affordable or thrift about their furniture whatsoever.

Way too overpriced. The new thrift store on 7th is wayyyy better. Do not waste your time or money here

I am not one who likes to bash another business and I absolutely disdain slander.
This business owner treated us like hot garbage tonight with zero provocation and yelled both clean and unclean things at me (whatever, no biggie) and MY WIFE in front of our two small children (with this, I take issue).
She needs therapy, not a business.
It's a "non-profit" per their yelp business page with insaaaanely high markups and another review quoting her as saying "this is a business, not a charity". That's an incongruity I cannot get behind.
Visit their Google listing and read the reviews. I'm not trying to boycott or destroy anyone's livelihood by any means; I simply want to make you all aware of the true nature of this business and that this is who you're supporting if you shop there.

Ask the owner...no need to whine about it. Goodness.


I just went to Rethink Thrift and I've been there before when they were at their old location. Prices then were decent and now for some items they're wanting retail prices and it's used! Not only that but I couldn't find my loyalty stamp card so they gave me a new one and then 5 seconds after they handed me my new loyalty stamp card I happened to find my original one! I was so excited and asked if it could be combined and they said no... I was right there and had just made a purchase. I would understand if I had left and come back but they had just handed me my new one. Pretty frustrating because I live an hour away and I took time to stop and shop there and they couldn't even honor that request, this may be one of the last times I'll be shopping there with how the prices are and the customer service isn't great.

Overpriced and incredibly rude.
I picked up a book that caught my eye in a donation bin out front and wanted to take it in to see if I could buy it.
Didn’t even make it to the front door before getting yelled at for looking at the book.
Took a look inside and the store is full of junk. Looked at one price tag and walked out frustrated and confused that someone can have a business in Bozeman while being so rude and incompetent.

Do not shop at this store!! The owner is incredibly mean and extremely unpleasant, especially to children. I absolutely could not believe the way she treated us when we were there. Screaming, glaring, mean mugging and spitting nasty remarks at my kids all while completely ignoring my existence at the check out counter. Our first and definitely our last time shopping there and We were only there for like 5 mins. An exceptionally bad experience, Spend your money literally anywhere else.

I have never met a more ungrateful thrift store owner. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

I went to drop off donations that were nicely organized and bagged up to withstand the weather, knowing that the drop off bins are located outside. As I’m placing the bags into the bins, she had the audacity to come outside and tell me “Do you know what time it is!?! Drop them and leave!”

As I drove away I could read her lips as she was saying “F*** you” through her front business window.

Not sure why a business that thrives off of donations would 1) treat a person she’s never met that way and 2) treat a person who is providing her with goods to sell in her store in that demeanor.

She doesn't even look at any of the donations.she litterly throws them in garbage .she keeps ugly things like i am i. Discuss and i love thrift stores Than locks the lid .like seriously most of donations are in trash straight up .why not do what Livingston thrift store does and put them in bin and give what she dont want to the community.not throw it out and go to landfill???she don't deserve to own a thrift store .she even locks the dumpster so it gets thrown out ignorance dont donate there

Really rude staff. Poor quality, overpriced merchandise. Stopped shopping because they don't appreciate the donations they receive. Pretty disappointed.

You have got to be kidding me! One of the most expensive thrift stores I've ever seen. You should really be ashamed for charging such ridiculous prices! Your merchandise is USED and mostly DONATED! You should be reported!! Every other thrift store is reasonably priced. I definitely would NOT  RECOMMEND this place.  Robbing others to make a few dollars is a horrible way to do business. And the word spreads....

I frequent all of the Bozeman/Belgrade area thrifts. I found that every time I go into Rethink, I see maybe a few of the exact same items I saw at a goodwill or elsewhere. I know this for a fact since certain items have different quirks, shoes that I've already tried on elsewhere but decided not to get etc. When I saw that they probably went and purchased those items from the other stores, I was curious what they were reselling for. $20+ markups! I understand consignment, etc. but to take quality items from another thrift and rob others of opportunity and need for lower dollar amounts..it's not a good business model.

I was picking my son up for magic and I parked in the parking lot. The owner came out and said i was creeping on her store/her and I said I was waiting for my son. She proceeded to throw attitude and locked her door.

I cannot express my disappointment when leaving this store.   Overheard the owner loudly stating “we are a business, not a charity!” when chatting with an employee about a customer who had just left.

I have absolutely no issue if I personally think prices are a little high, given I think the proceeds are going to a charity.  But this isn’t a charity, it is a business (as she stated), and the prices are resale, and not for the benefit for anyone other than the business.

I have a MASSIVE issue with calling yourself a “Thrift” store when you do not support any charitable cause, and yet you ACCEPT DONATIONS from the public.   It is so very misleading and disingenuous.   The very fact that this store accepts donations implies that it is a charity - as my mother would say “It just doesn’t pass the smell test”.  Call yourself a Secondhand Store or a Resale Store or become a Consignment Shop, but not a Thrift Store.  And definitely stop accepting “donations” when they are anything but.

Oh, and don’t brag about it when there are other customers in the store; it’s just tacky.

The owner is bi-polar. The items 50% off on fridays have been marked way above what they should be to begin with. There are so many other good thrift stores in town. STAY AWAY
