About This Store

Estate Sales & Services & Thrift Store - WNC Bridge Foundation is a highly-rated thrift store located in Asheville, North Carolina. The positive customer reviews provide valuable insights into what makes this establishment unique.

According to reviewer Rain Louise, the store is "very organized and the building didn't have that 'thrift store' smell." This suggests the store maintains a clean, well-kept environment. Another reviewer, Lauren Couch, describes the inventory as "neatly organized, well displayed and new stuff arrives all the time." This attention to presentation and constantly evolving merchandise seems to be a draw for customers.

The store's biweekly estate sales are highlighted as a particular highlight by multiple reviewers. As Blayne Bius explains, "The estate sales that happen biweekly are really great too! The estate sales keep lots of things coming in and going so ya never see the same things twice!" This regular influx of new and unique items appears to be a major appeal for shoppers.

Customers also praise the store's pricing, with one reviewer stating, "Some of the best pricing in Asheville and lots of good things are brought in!" Another, Charles Vega, notes that the "prices were also extremely fair for the items they had - cheaper than places like Goodwill." This combination of quality merchandise and affordable prices seems to be a winning formula for this thrift store.

While a few reviewers mention encountering rude staff in the past, the majority of customers describe the employees as "cheerful, friendly and helpful." Reviewer Laurel Parker suggests that these occasional issues may be due to the store's reliance on volunteer labor, rather than skilled retail workers. However, more recent reviews, such as Glenn Kling's comment that "the staff I interacted with were friendly," indicate that the store has addressed any previous customer service concerns.

Overall, Estate Sales & Services & Thrift Store - WNC Bridge Foundation appears to be a well-organized, attractively-presented thrift store that offers a constantly changing selection of quality merchandise at affordable prices. The biweekly estate sales and generally friendly staff contribute to a positive shopping experience for customers in the Asheville area.

Very organized and the building didn't have that "thrift store" smell. Not a large amount of products available but that could be because of the hurricane.

This is an excellent thrift store just a few minutes outside of downtown Asheville. The staff were very nice when we were checking out and the variety of products was amazing. The prices were also extremely fair for the items they had - cheaper than places like goodwill.

We have been shopping here for about a year and a half, and have always made purchases, including some large pieces of furniture. The staff, who I think are mostly volunteers, have been cheerful, friendly and helpful, as are many of the customers. As for the complaints, I have not experienced this here, but I’ve done volunteer work elsewhere, and have found that some volunteers don’t have the social skills necessary to work with the public. People who expect skilled retail workers at charity shops should stop and consider that these people are donating their time, and often deal with people who are rude.

All of the rude people must have retired because the staff I interacted with were friendly. A great place to visit.
