Sunnyside is full of interesting finds. I recently purchased some old doors from there and was impressed with the sales staff as well as the delivery coordinator who was really helpful. I go back a lot or smaller things. Well worth a visit to the River Arts District for a look. Don't miss it.

Found this floor screen treasure at Sunnyside Trading Co., and shipped it down to our home in St Thomas, US Virgin Islands. Used two doors to frame out the doorway between kitchen and butler pantry. Everyone was so helpful and I Sunnyside will be my new go-to for that must have special piece. Bonus is that I have two more to use in our office.

I love this store and have always gotten amazing service and valued input from Stuart and Klaus. I've bought a number of items over the years and most recently visited the store seeking a large and interesting piece to go over my bed. They were kind enough to let me to try a few things with the knowledge I might not keep them and also shared the name of someone who could hang the pieces as they were both quite heavy. I ended up purchasing a fabulous wooden wheel with an engraved floral design and I'm thrilled with it.

I recently moved to Asheville and stumbled upon Sunnyside while discovering the arts district. First and foremost, a HUGE thank you to Klaus and Annie for being such amazing human beings! They both have a natural talent for interior design and were able to put bits and pieces together to help me bring my vision to life. Also, a big shout out to the entire team that’s so friendly and welcoming! I have always loved the fusion of midcentury Danish design merged with subdued colors and simple zen aesthetic that finds beauty in imperfection and the passage of time. I wanted to create a stress-free environment where I could really unwind. Annie and Klaus helped me to carefully select each piece of furniture and lighting. They understood that the end result was as much an interior design style as a philosophy. I love to build but the art of interior design was completely foreign to me. I couldn’t have done it without you!

This place is unique. The space is large and airy, pleasant to walk around in. The objects are fascinating: furniture and furnishings, imported from the East, exotic, either antique or vintage and most constructed of teak, I believe. They have massive carved beds, windows, doors, gates, benches, a bunch of really cool things. Helpful and courteous staff.
