Yes yes yes. Toy stores are few and far between. Especially good ones with a bunch of toys and games you have likely never heard of before. A must stop for families passing through.

The coolest toy store on the planet! :D Lots of interactive toys, puzzles, instruments, fidgets, stuffed animals, playmobiles, Legos, and much more. I've been coming here since I was a kid, and honestly, it's as cool now as it was then. OP Taylor himself is usually around wearing a funny hat and engaging with guests. This is a must do when visiting downtown brevard, even if you're an adult kid.

Plenty of friendly, knowledgeable staff and unbeatable selection.

My first time in Brevard.
When I noticed this toy store, I immediately had to walk in. Growing up, my parents never denied us toys. We had every new toy that came out & so much play time & the prettiest dolls. This place was very nostalgic for me.

Being Labor Day weekend, the store was packed!

I got to meet John, the TOY MAN in the flesh, and I can tell you he loves what he does and his daughter Kaden has acquired his love for toys and the store and the people that visit. They are awesome! I picked up a no stress chess. Can’t wait to try it!

The toy store goes on and on in this fascinating old building. And if you have children with you, be prepared to spend about an hour in here.

This place is just special. It is so well thought out, every toy there must be individually chosen to make some kid happy. There really is something for everybody, and high-quality toys. The store is made to be a magical experience.

I go downtown about every week to look through the Gunpla selection among other things. An amazing toy story with great atmosphere and delightful owner and staff. Always something fun to look at and reasonable priced.

Coolest toy store on the planet for sure! Staff included! Big kids ready to help, and play. I was looking for something roller skating related and they took time to help me even though they were busy and the store was packed. It didn't matter that it was busy, but I mattered. Many people today get caught up in the busyness and forget we are actual people and not just a customer. This is what I love about this place. Thank you for taking time for me, and also free wrapping! That made my life and day so much easier. I appreciate you.

Take your kids but be ready to spend at least an hour or more. It's two stories high and completely packed with toys, books, slot car tracks, stuffed animals etc. It's the best toy store I have ever been in. I'm sitting on the bench outside waiting patiently for my granddaughter and daughter to get over their perusal … they inevitably will find something they can't do without!

This place hasn't changed much ever since i was little. Relived my whole childhood when i came here and it was very nice to see. Loved every inch of the store except the doll/plush room upstairs. Still gives me the chills everytime i go there lol. I guess some things doesn't change at all 🤣🤣

Without toys r us, this fills the gap. A little pricey on some items, but overall, a fun store. Makes my daughter excited about our day trips to Brevard.

Best experience ever! I've been wanting an Advent calendar for a couple of years and spotted one in O.P. Taylor's window. Mr. Taylor was inside, propeller beanie in place, and I asked him a question or two about the display items. He suggested a Wiltopia Playmobil item with a ton of animals. It was perfect for me. I had a grand time this morning putting the advent boxes together and checking out the precious animals and related items. It's never too late to have a happy childhood!

Awesome toy store. So many different toys and games. Toys I hadn't seen since I was a child were in this store. They had a huge selection of Legos (which is the main reason we went in), some of which we had never seen anywhere else. This is a must see especially for hard-to-find toys/games.

Such a cute store. I have been visiting since it opened and am always amazed at the cool finds. This particular visit was for part of a maternity photo session for my clients and it was great fun!

John, the owner, is absolutely terrific, approachable, and knowledgeable with a big heart for kids.  He has a car racing track in the store, and the kids love playing with it.  The staff is top notch too!  I live taking my mom there to shop for family members.

Absolute best toy store around! Every few weeks we drive 1.5 hours to shop at this store. It has a large inventory of Legos as well as a slot race track. It has two floors full of toys for kids of all ages. If you love card games and board games you won’t be disappointed with their large selection. Well worth the drive and the employees are knowledgeable and helpful!

Spent hours in this magical magical store THANK YOU FOR Bringing out the kid in all of us we spent way way more money than we had ever imagined spending and probably could’ve spent so much more do not miss the opportunity to go upstairs it is literally like something out of a movie how much fun the store was to be in we were only there for about three hours! This store has massive amounts of nostalgia for me and is still going strong. I bought some little toys for nostalgia’s sake but the prices seem fair. The Lego selection was impressive, with tons of other model and building toy options. It’s always fun to explore the upstairs rooms.

Very cool toy store.  Multiple rooms and two floors hold an enormous amount of toys.  Many traditional toys you'd find in most toy stores but also a lot of interesting, niche items.  The staff was also very knowledgeable and friendly.  Plan to spend ALOT of time in the store especially if you have kids with you.

Wonderful 2-story toy store with a vast variety of legos, toys, books, gifts. We ended up with a magic trick book. This store was fun to peruse, even as adults. Get some Christmas shopping done...Enjoy!

It's a magical toystore. You have to visit it to see its charm. One of every great toy out there, is inside this building, it would seem! If not what you wanted, it is because you found something "better". By the way.. The K'NEX Ferris Wheel (below) is in their side store window. It is quite large and actually works, going around and around. I imagined riding in it; I am an adult with a child's heart.

Great toy store right in downtown. I really love this place. But on occasion, we go in here and there is a slightly rude woman who turns a great experience into an okay one. :(  We are there regularly buying fun activities and I really love the upstairs art section. This is an awesome store to get absolutely any activity, toy or game toy could think of. They have even ordered things for me when they didn’t have what I was looking for. :)

If you’re looking for one of the largest collections of Legos in the area O P Taylor’s is the place to go. I’ve been shopping at O P Taylor’s for the past 20+ years. Anything that’s out of the norm he’s always got it.

It cannot be easy to run a toy store in the age of buying everything online, but this place advertised itself as "the world's most interesting toy store" or something like that and it was like very normal. The toys were expensive, probably because part of the cost is going toward keeping the lights on in a brick-and-mortar building. It was difficult to move around inside with all of the tight little areas. There were a lot of good toys, but it just wasn't as exciting as it was billed to be.
