Favorite spot to gift shop for all the gamers & bookworms in my life :)

Exceeded expectations! Great finds. Could spend an entire day here. Wish they had a section to sit.

Went in with my Nabor. This store has a lot to offer to a person who loves rare items.

Great prices and huge selection! I wish the baby section was more organized (new,used, alphabetical) but it makes for a fun search! Highly recommended for book and music lovers

I went there a couple days ago and oh my, they have so much. From books to music albums, they have everything a teenager would want. I went in to buy something for a friend and ended up buying so much manga (would’ve bought more but my brother stopped me lol) They have what looks like an infinity amount of funko pops and figures from all types of animes. Plus, it’s pretty cheap in my opinion. The amount of manga is crazy but I do wish there would be more danmei because my bank would cancel my card if that was the case. Overall, if you love anime, manga, danmei, collecting, music, board games, books, toys, guitars, etc. you should 100% visit this store!

Very cute used book store with a huge selection.  They even have special edition and rare copies of books at a great price, too.  I love coming here and browsing the selection.

Nicest staff on the planet, and a plethora of used video games to sift through. Have spent hours looking through everything in the store on multiple occasions. They also have a great deal on pokemon cards! THOUSANDS of common cards are all thrown in a box, and you can sift through them to find any fifty for five dollars! Great way to stock up on trainer cards or energies when you're running low!

This place is amazing. For someone who goes through a lot of books, they have a vast selection and when you’re done with a book you can sell it back to them and get more for credit for more books. They have all kinds of other stuff as well, like games, movies music etc

I LOVE THIS PLACE! 🤩 They have something for everyone. Movies, vinyls, board games, toys, books, guitars, Hello Kitty section, Kid section, Religious/Spiritual section, and whatever else floats your boat 😁 As you can see my daughter loved it. My husband was there too but he was in his own little world 🌍 exploring. Check it out. You won't be disappointed ☺️

Nice selection.  Only negative is that it’s almost impossible to find the books you want because of the sheer number and a bit of disorder.

Employees can only point vaguely in the direction you should search….!   Other than that, book lovers, this is your store!

A very good place to find that old record you are looking for, whether it's a vinyl or a CD. Books, movies, TV series, and comics.
Good atmosphere, my son and I can spend hours there.

Staff is always hopeful and knowledgeable. They know who to talk to when they do not have an answer.

Excelent selection of new and old (anything) related to vinyl records, books, games, and fantasy. Lots of comics, manja, and so one. They even have musical instruments

The store was nothing like I thought it'd be. Its a massive new and used bookstore with pop media items, comic books, manga, action figures new and used, t-shirts, new and used video games, dvds, cds, records, guitars, and more. Aimed for teens and geeks around. Staff was very courteous and helpful. You'll be in sensory overload- watch out!

Super fun store with anything your nerd heart could want.  Little groupings of like items, Edgar Allen Poe, Stephen King, Harry Potter, etc.  Used guitars line the wall for purchase.  Love this store!

Sooo... ive been looking for a book store since the last word closed.... and IM OBSESSED!!! I absolutely love it here! I never heard of it because it was so far from where i lived but I definitely found my next favorite 2nd hand owned store!!!! The staff are sooooo AMAZING!!! Might even apply 🤗🤗😍 10/10 experience!!!

I went to second and Charles the other day to check out all the awesome things in there and I met a couple of great people Zindy and Jon. both of these awesome guys were extremely helpful, passionate about what they do, and just some super cool people at a super cool place but I'm definitely coming back to. I give a five stars on everything. I absolutely love the environment and I definitely love to people you guys are great. Thank you.

They have everything you could imagine! Huge supply of books, tons of new and used vinyl, cds, movies, video games, etc. Highly recommend this place! Staff was super friendly! I will definitely be back!

Thus store is geek heaven. Has really old games, collectibles, books and comics aswell as new. And they have more to choose from than hot topic spencers and gamestop combined. And they are way cheaoer than those other places i just mention. I wish they had a store in Miami where Im from.

OMG! SUCH A COOL A$$ STORE!! I just googled "comic book store near me" and this store was .4 miles away and had great reviews. It was nothing like I was expecting (small comic book store and that's it). It was a really big store! And not JUST comic books!! They had many comic books, books, RECORDS!, t- shirts,  games,..... whoa.. Needless to say,  I saved it as one of my "favorites" in Google maps and I plan to be back.  :) Unfortunately,  the only pictures I have are these.  Haha

Always a great and helpful staff as well as clean location, clean bathrooms.  There are so many books, CDs, vinyls, nerdy collectables, instruments!!!   You could easily spend HOURS here just looking, and just as easily leave with armfulls of stuff you didn't even know you needed 😆.  Great prices and really unique and interesting books!  They also always have a free book bin!  Fair warning- I never manage to leave empty-handed, even when that's my intention.

Cute spot..  lots of books and merch... per my son, they need a special Dragon Ball Z spot in the store... we enjoyed it.

I’d give four stars if they had more first books of series. But staff is excellent and there’s still a fun amount of things to choose from! 😁both this location and Matthew’s are 🔥

Really enjoyed the store overall I think the only downfall for me is they don’t have many Nintendo switch games, which is not their fault but that’s what we went looking for. And the funko pop selection was great. It’s just so many on the show that you can’t look through them all really because they are stacked in front of each other and not really organized in a way where you could find specific ones.

Such a great place to get a deal on a lot of stuff. Books are the primary thing here. That said there is so many fun things here it will be hard not to get something. Love this place for the exact reasons they advertise themselves for.

⭐⭐⭐⭐This is a very impressive store! I went in for the vinyl records and they had a decent selection of nee and used mixed together. I do wish they carried more heavy metal, but I still found two albums that are difficult to find. Be sure to flip through all of the records because many are misplaced. This is a great place to find a quick gift!

I've been to a bunch of 2&C in multiple states and this one is poorly organized and has a small selection of used books.

all the books were in basically new condition and pretty fairly priced! however, this is not the place to go if you’re searching for a specific title - the books were organized into sections by the first letter of the author’s last name, but within each section the last names were not ordered alphabetically, so it felt messy and was really hard to look for specific authors.

So this store is huge. We were looking for a specific type of kids book and honestly, it was just a disorganized mess. They have the kids “section”, but didn’t drill down much further. So if you are looking for a specific title, it may take a while. The staff tried to be helpful and were super nice. This would be a great store to just peruse. This is the kind of place you take your coffee and get lost in the books for hours and come out with some great titles.  For us this time, looking for something specific, it just didn’t work out, which is why I rated it 3 stars. It felt like trying to find a needle in a haystack.

Nice place to pick up hidden gems. Will require work on your part as the store isn't too organized. The offer for the things I went in to sell was an extreme low-ball so I just opted to sell elsewhere. Great selection of books, comics, music and collectables.

I wish there was more separation between used and new products and the new products were marked up considerably more that other retailers.

Definitely a place to spend some time in shopping around, however.

The store is great if you what to buy old comics, books or CD’s but it is a total ripoff if you want to sell. They wanted to pay ¢20 for a CD they sell in $5

Don’t go in looking for anything specific. This store is a disorganized disaster. I’ve gone in several times and never been able to locate the books I’m looking for because the alphabetizing is haphazard at best. The staff couldn’t be less interested in being helpful and is almost edging on rude. Just order online or go to Barnes & Noble.

Extensive variety and a little of everything for every taste on the high side. Nothing seems to be cheap at this place, everything is overpriced for old and not so new stuff. Mostly made in China souvenirs, plastic, and ceramics. Books are disorganized and not place by titles just by genres which is kind of tedious. Lps are all over the place too. And DVD section is long and expensive. So if you go here go with lots of cash if you're buying anything. Good luck!

To tell you that I have to give you guys the two star is heartbreaking cuz I love you guys but the fact is I went in there to look at some video games the game Spyro trilogy was going  for $40 when it cost twenty-five brand-new at Walmart I seen a bunch of games that are actually cheaper at at GameStop it's really a shame because you guys are great but you guys are inflating your priceses way too much like the new tomb Raider game you guys have their use almost  $30 when it's worth $20 at GameStop used,y'all need to check your Price's (I have included a photo of proof)

If you are selling books, don’t waste your time selling them here. I had multiple boxes of books to sell. I brought them here and had to leave because the little girl said that it would take “forever” to go through them, and that the appraiser would not be in until tomorrow.  So, I left the books there. After a couple of days, they sent me a message saying they had an amount they wanted to offer me. I called the store but said I had to come in to get the amount. So I came in and they offered me $33 for 5 large Bowes of books. I’ thought the price was too low and I asked where my boxes were to take back my books. The man behind the counter said that they do not keep boxes. I asked him how does he expect me to take my books back. He said he didn’t know and acted like he could care less!  I asked him where the books that they did not want. He said that they took them all. REALLY!!!  I took pictures of every book. I did not see some of the books in the totes that they had my books in. So, I tried to get him to explain it to me. He had no answer. I will NEVER come back to this place. Sell your books somewhere else!

The staff we spoke with eas friendly but the manager was really bad at their job. Way overpriced items. When we asked about a price update on some items that were interested in but it was clear the items had been there so long the price was well out of date, we were told "the price is the price." Being an out of towner, this place had a lot of cool stuff, but i dont know how they sell any used items when you can buy it online for half the cost.

When I went Inside of the store it was closing and I even barely saw the stuff or buy anything and they need to lower the price because it's too expensive

This place did an excellent job of making sure I never step into one of these stores again, guys go to Mckays, it’s a literal upgrade up this store in every way

Was told over the phone they wanted to buy guitars and basses. Went to the store 10 minutes later. Was told in store the computers were down. This is the second time that I’ve been told they wanted to buy something and have a problem when I got to the store. Won’t be back. Oh and this is also one of the few places that told me to MASK UP OR LEAVE during Covid. What a joke.

I would not recommend selling to this place… I went today for the first time to try it out. They give 10% of what they think they can sell it for. I took in many new sealed items… I ended up taking the store credit because I didn’t want to deal with taking anything back, but I will not return.

Might as well just call yourself a book store. Most of this stuff is brand new and over retail price. They don’t price match when other large retailers are significantly cheaper. Hardly any 2nd hand stuff. Don’t recommend.

Took five days for them to sort through three totes of items,most of my items are new and things that are popular right now,they wanted to give me 90$ store credit and 50$… and then when I wanted my stuff back the employee dropped one of my items and damaged the box of a collectors item. Will not be coming back McKays is by far the better choice

I brought in 67 comic books in good condition and was great condition and was offered $24.80 like really this is and was not fair especially when they’re going to make a profit (not fair) I will not be back (I trash my stuff before I bring it to them)

I went in this store to look for some dvds. I found the Inuyasha 2nd season box set in there priced at 14.95 on the 2nd and Charles tag which is what it’s priced at new on Amazon. However, it had a different tag on the back that said 11.99. The dvd only goes for 8 dollars on eBay so I was a bit confused, especially considering it was a used box set and the dvds had scratches on them. I went to the front to see if they could mark it down and they said that they couldn’t and that the old tag didn’t matter. Before leaving I saw the associate I was speaking to rip off the old tag before putting it back on the shelf.

This store is a scam, support local used media shops.

I have been to this bookstore a dozen times in the last year and spent thousands- I collect books. The last two times they’ve had issues with their system and can’t seem to check me out properly. Today I bought 3 books and a bag for $35. Swiped my card, transaction approved on the card reader in front of me- cashier saw it said approved. Their system crashed immediately after and wouldn’t print a receipt. He called his manager so they could make sure the payment went through. After 15 minutes I’ve shown them my card payment pending on my end and the cashier has repeated to his manager (Haley) that it was approved. 10 more minutes and the manager says I can either REPAY or LEAVE WITHOUT THE BOOKS. So my options are to pay double for used books or leave the books I’ve purchased already at the store. I asked if they’d do a return to get my money back and they said I would have to dispute with my card company AND that this “happens all the time.” Absolutely ridiculous and terrible customer service. I’m never going back.
