About This Store

Habitat for Humanity ReStore Cornelius: A Treasure Trove of Unique Finds

Nestled in Cornelius, North Carolina, the Habitat for Humanity ReStore is a unique thrift store that has captured the hearts of local shoppers. Its exceptional customer service and impressive inventory have earned it rave reviews from the community.

At the heart of the ReStore's appeal is its dedicated staff, led by the store manager, April. Reviewers consistently praise the friendly and helpful employees, with one customer noting, "Lisa is phenomenal!! Every time I'm in the store she greets me by name and goes out of her way to help." Another reviewer, Keri Wass, commends the "quick and efficient" volunteers who assist with unloading donations.

The store's inventory is a true treasure trove, offering a diverse selection of merchandise that caters to a wide range of interests. As one customer, David McCrudden, describes, "Lots of good deals, you just need to look for them. People are complaining about high prices, this store seems to have a lot of overstock merchandise that is unopened and new, from my experience." Another shopper, David Shook, was impressed by the "great variety" and "unique drawer" he found during his visit.

Beyond the everyday items, the ReStore also boasts an impressive collection of vintage and rare finds. D McAllister, a particularly enthusiastic reviewer, recounts his haul of "early 20th century impressionistic style watercolor by a noted N.C artist for $25.00, a framed set of 19th century Italian colored prints for $15.00," as well as "signed 1st editions by Eudora Welty, Tom Clancy, Robert B. Parker, Patricia Cornwell, John Grisham, [and] Pat Conroy's original self-published The Boo." These remarkable discoveries underscore the store's ability to offer exceptional value to its customers.

The Habitat for Humanity ReStore Cornelius is more than just a thrift store; it is a community hub where shoppers can find unique treasures, engage with friendly staff, and support a worthy cause. As one reviewer, Kimberly Reischl, eloquently states, "I just love coming to this place! You're always welcomed and everyone is cheerful. The cashier Judy is so pleasant and helpful and goes out of her way to assist you whenever it's needed. Great place, and it's not messy. Keep up the good work!"

Lots of good deals, you just need to look for them. People are complaining about high prices, this store seems to have a lot of overstock merchandise that is unopened and new, from my experience. Best find was a lot of ~30 vintage coca cola glasses for a decent price a while back. Low end things, from card games to mugs to books to cds are priced fairly cheap.

I donate to this store frequently and have always found the staff/volunteers quick and efficient in unloading my donations in the drive through. April, the store manager, runs a wonderful operation at the Cornelius Habitat Restore!

Greatest of the Gently Used, from the Imported to The Eclectic! More store then I ever would have imagined. Best of service, and an excellent selection. My purchase was at Thirteen % of the MSRP. Scary Good for your fall projects, furniture needs, and fun to shop!

One of best Habitat stores i have seen anywhere. A very nice book section with books priced from $1 to several hundred dollars. Purchased a early 20th century impressionistic style watercolor by a noted N.C artist for $25.00, a framed set of 19th century Italian colored prints for $15.00. Purchased, signed 1st editions by Eudora Welty, Tom Clancy, Robert B. Parker, Patricia Cornwell, John Grisham, Pat Conroy's original self published The Boo, and several rare signed books on Bird decoys from the 1930s which are exceptionally rare and extremely valuable. Altogether the 2 framed items and 45 books cost approximately $425.00. Nothing purchased cost more than $50.00 with most costing from $2 to $ 5. A very fine shop and one that I recommend highly. A treasure for the community.
