A well maintained store that has great deals for 2nd, 3rd and 4th hand books.
Is kept decently stocked and is well shoped.
6pu can find whole sets if you are lucky, but the prices are always reasonable if not a steal.

Always come here when I'm in Fayetteville, which isn't very often but I have to make a stop. I've found some really cool stuff here, new and used.

Great selection of new and old books for a great price. They also have a wide variety of collectibles! Prepare to stay they for a while because there is a lot to see!

To say that this is just a bookstore it's definitely underrated it has magazines, books, children's books, children's toys And every Bobble head you can imagine.

LOVE this place I always come here to get my manga and the staff are always super friendly. They have a large selection of manga and not just that but a large selection of other books, collectibles, merch, etc. They also have a return policy so great u can buy a book and return it a week later and get another one. Definitely recommend.

This is one of my go to places for gifts. There is so much to choose from no matter if you have book lovers or not! My kids and I alway find something here that we love or our friends would enjoy and the staff is always friendly and helpful!

I don’t know how I’ve been here so many times and have never left a review. I love coming in here periodically to find whatever treasures have been put on the shelves, but it’s really the people that make my day every time I go in. Always helpful, always kind, always patient, and all seem to genuinely enjoy working there together — not nearly common enough traits in retail jobs.

Great prices on what they have to sell and an amazing collection of movies,book,funko pops just a great to shop at.

Basically barnes & noble but more affordable, and the staff was awesome. They have Disney stuff and DnD stuff too for all the nerds

Better and more reasonably priced than Barnes and Noble. Can't beat the prices. Best bookstore in the Fayetteville area. Huge selection of books, manga,anime, DVDs, records etc.  This will be my go to bookstore from now on.

Very clean and organized environment, the layout is eye catching. I went for the complete Harry Potter series. They have a table set up just for wizardry so I didn't have to hunt down the books. Awesome selection of new and used. The employees were fantastic in helping me find the best deals for what I was looking for.

Great store for classic finds.  This one is on the smaller side for 2nd and Charles.  It's always clean, and well stocked.  I stop in often and check the same few sections for anything new that may pop up.   The funko figures  are usually picked over first.  Overall great store with decent amount of stuff.

I come in when I'm looking for books for my niece, age 10. Not only do I find a nice variety of young adult books for her, but if it happens to be an older one, it can run you less than 5 dollars if you're lucky.

I called ahead and when I got there they had the book I was looking for already at the front! Large variety, and books for all! This place is awesome!

Charles Charleston here, reporting live from the streets here at 2nd.  A madperson has come in with gently loved books and collectibles with crazed designs on getting money for them... but wait, there's more to the story!  After they get the money, they are planning on buying more books and stuff.  It's pure madness I say, madness!! Best place to shop books, video games, cds, and so much more. They sell new things at a full price, sometimes even with discounts and used things that cost so much less than the original price. The staff is very very helpful, they are always available if you need anything; I was looking for a book and asked for help and a girl who worked there helped me find it and at first we didn’t found it but just as I was about to leave she came to me with the book in her hands and gave it to me. Good store overall really recommend it!!

One of our favorite places to shop. They have a little bit of everything and more books than you can imagine.  Every employee is so friendly!

I don’t know if you’ve been here lately, they have remodeled they are trying to get everything back on the shelves. The shelves look amazing along the walls. I met the employee to put all the shelves together. You go in there make sure you thank CJ.

Great selection of books and random items like dice and memorabilia. The staff was spectacular with purchasing my magic gathering cards. The process was quick and efficient.

Love this store. Excellent find always. Managers are very helpful and accomodating. You can also sell your old stuff here for a store credit or an amount valued by the store.

This was my first time at 2nd & Charles. The store is very spacious. They have a lot of inventory. They have both new and used books. And, they buy books as well, offering cash or store credit. There is a free bin as well. The clearance shelf for used books almost takes up the whole back wall. The books are decently organized. But even if you can't find what you are looking for, the staff are very helpful and will go above and beyond to try and find it. They also sell novelty items, games, video games, music, and instruments. It's worth a visit.

This is a great used media and entertainment store. Everything is well organized and displayed. The movies are alphabetically arranged and vertically aligned making it easy to find titles. There is also music, comics, mangas, and books. There are also toys and souvenirs located throughout the store. Really a great place that is worth a visit.

I'm already obsessed, and will definitely be spending alot of many here, they have any kind of audio/game/book/comic/graphic you could imagine, I love how well they treat there books as well! Found some 1969 and 1976 books as well! So you can find oldies as well here!

This store is cool. Lots of retro products to choose from as well as current. Went in looking for a super njntendo with super mario world and what do you know? There it was! I'm very satisfied with what I grabbed. If you're in fayetteville and your into retro games or comics etc this is a spot you should definitely check out!

We got a stack of books that look brand new for $23. SO pleased! Huge store and they had a great selection of children's books. Highly recommend.

Alot of great books, posters, records, novelty items, etc. Even for kids they have book bundles as low as $3. You can also donate books to them. I think they could use a spot or two to sit inside, but I know it's a store to buy books not read them, lol.

How can you not love a place with this many Stephen Hawking books that also gives away pie on 3-14?!? Great store with a wonderful selection of books, records and comics. Very friendly staff.

I suggest you check this place out before ordering on Amazon as their prices are very reasonable.

Basically Q made us love this spot on our first visit and now we are addicted to the smell of rich mahogany and fine leather bound books. And vinyl. And all of the old video games and funny t-shirts too and good candy selection. My boyfriend like a to surprise me with old movies from here too.  These photos aren't great but i was half starved when I was there so deal. The last one is just a funny sticker I saw in their parking lot and I figured if you're looking to me for advice on buying books, you're the kind of person who might love unintentional humor.

Kinda like the one in Georgia but smaller. Great store. I got some books I've been looking for. Reminds me of the old days. Check it out.

It's a fun store. A little bit of this and that. Book selection overall is good, some used titles for a cheaper price. They also have a selection of comics, video games and systems, as well as some board games AND musical instruments. A bit overwhelming and sometimes disorganized but a good store overall.

Great store to find some fun gifts for yourself or others. It can be challenging if you are trying to look for a specific book or item but if you like to browse and get good deals it's a great place!

The selection is pretty good, and most of the staff is very friendly and helpful.  Went to checkout, showed the website that said I would get a free item as a reward member, was told that was only a specific day and wasn’t eligible.  Ok, fine.  Sign posted said items for rewards members was a certain price, and it rang up the regular price.  Questioned it, even with the sign posted next to the register, and was told again, specific day.  We pulled the sign.  We were charged twice for something, and another item rang up the wrong price.

I would just advise watching the checkout process to ensure you’re not being overcharged.  I’m pretty sure it’s a simple mistake, but better safe than sorry.

Nice store, super friendly staff!  I am just used to the 2nd and Charles in Colorado which has double the amount of books.

For games, dvds, traditional books you can find decent prices. For manga there us a very limited used selection. It is mainly new at msrp.

- not really a used store for manga (most manga is brand new)
- Price ( alot of things are msrp)
- organization (hard to find what you are looking for alphabetical, saw myself just looking at everything within the genre I wanted)

Pretty great store, I could get lost for days.
I live the selection of pops and comic books, but their comics are overpriced : go to a local shop instead.

Great variety. Books anime cds dvds video games comics. Prices used to be good but now they are like most others...too high for most things. I used to go a couple times a week but now it is once every few months.

The staff are awesome and the book selection is outstanding. The downfall is the selling items to the store; expect to receive far less than a fair rate on items, it seems to be a business model. Otherwise the store for means of a retail store is great.

Be very wary of any transactions at this store:
On 26 Feb I  took in 7 bins of books and comics which I have been collecting since high school 36+ years

2 Mar go back to pick up my offer payout

I was asked if I would take 100$ bills and I said yes

I 100% believe I was slapped a fake movie prop 100$ bill and the employee pocket my real 100$ bill out of my offer, I mean where else would you come across that kind of item?
I shoulda checked it but as soon as I saw the top bill, I place the money in my wallet and forgot about it until Friday.

Noticed on Friday 7 Mar when I tried to deposit money in my bank's ATM

That's when I took the bill and went back to speak to the manager CJ. He said we check all bills during all transactions - that's weird, the Sunday I picked up my offer the employee that paid me did everything autonomously.

CJ also took down my cell number and said he had to contact his general manager and get back to me. This was Friday 7 Mar 24. He said he would do some investigating and call me back on Saturday 8 Mar 25. Then he said we'll make it right with either money or something. Here it is 17 Mar a week later and still no call. I stopped by the store to ask and it was like deer in the headlights.

I gave them a chance to make it right. It's been over a month. I stopped back by the store at least 3 times to speak with CJ and he's never there! I Go figure! I've left my number again and again for him to call me and I get nothing.

Don't go to this store, it's a scam and I hope it closes! One bad apple spoils the whole dam bunch.

I should've have checked the bills and called the police. If I could give a negative star rating, I would!

Do not take movies here to sell. I brought in a box of about 40 DVDs, Blu-Rays, and 4K movies. Some of them including entire seasons of shows, weren't even unwrapped. They offered me less than $4. I told them to keep it. Total rip off. I used to get my manga from there. I will never go back again. I will buy online from now on. It's cheaper anyway.

Lots of books but poorly organized. Staff can’t help you find any books. I had one trying to help me and he just walked away. Spent over and hour trying to find one book that was supposedly “in stock.” You’re better off going to Barnes and Noble.

We've been here several times for trade ins with great experiences, but we will not be coming back once our gift card is fully used. Today when trading in items, the cashier ADDED the trade credit to our purchase instead of using it toward our purchase. I recognized the price was way too high, but she seemed unable to understand what the problem was. We finally had it resolved but it was handled very poorly. If you are trading in items, just don't purchase at the same time.

The prices you get for trading in books is laughable, so we will find another way to pass our used books along.

My review would have been higher if I had gone there as a buyer, but I went as a potential seller and received an offer so insulting that I couldn't believe the girl made it with a smile and seemed surprised when I asked her to bring my books back to the front.
