Sectional, I applaud the young men at the Greenville store. They were amazing. So helpful and courteous. They loaded the sofa we bought quickly.  I have only been to store a couple times but always been greeted and they are pleasant. Thank you!

Ido like this place. The employees are very nice. A huge selection of items from very well used to brand new and priced accordingly.. best part is the proceeds go to help those in need

New location is bigger than the one on 10th Street. Reasonable prices, lots of mirrors,  furniture and light fixtures. Decent array of housewares. Sometimes you can find homemade quilts too.

They were willing to test my appliances with no problem. The staff is always helpful and friendly. I would recommend anyone to go and see what they have and today it’s 15% off so I splurge for a good cause!

I love shopping at ReStore (all of them) and this is my favorite for collectibles and decor. My favorite is carnival glass, and I’ve seen them research values on the computer. I’ve bought 4-5 pieces there, and they were all at fair market value. Many of the furniture pieces I looked at were fairly priced also, if a little higher than what I wanted to spend. Doesn’t mean they weren’t worth what they were asking! You are helping families that need homes!

I have purchased many items here to re decorate our home. I also love the antiques in the front. To me the prices are very good and the employees/volunteers are always nice and happy to help with anything

Furnished my brand new apartment for way less because of these guys ! Tables, chairs, even glass plates and other little house decorations. They're fair priced on everything, I keep coming back because it's borderline addicting when you love to shop.

I went to this store to see what they have. What I saw was kind caring individuals who were so willing to help you with anything. I just wanted to look around to see why this store stay packed all the time. Some stuff in there is high to be used. I mean paying over $30 for used items is not my thang. Nice store though.

Love going here to look around. A few weeks ago I got a Chaps shirt with the tags still on for $5 bucks. I make often trips to search for home improvement items and hardly ever leave empty handed. Great place to go if your looking to renovate!

Just spoke with Brandy to see if a table I want is still there. She was so helpful. Most everyone that works there and the director he is so nice. I have furnished a bedroom in the country  (almost an entire home in the country) with items I purchased from Habitat. ~ and have spent only  $400.  One of my favorite stores and the money goes for a great cause.  You have to be quick, cause they don't like to hold anything for you, even with a down payment and promise to be back in a few days....Good news. got the sewing machine table I have wanted forever! Got a great deal and love everyone and everything that I have bought from there! Great deals and wonderful finds.

I have always enjoyed the Habitat for Humanity Restores. I've found some of the best deals on unique and common items. I've been to quite a few Restores from Ohio and Pennsylvania to North and South Carolina. In my humble opinion, the best place to find reasonably priced doors is the Cary Restore. The best place to find furniture is the Raleigh, Durham or Wilmington Restores. The best place for appliances and cabinets is the Charlotte Restore. The best place for sinks and toilets is either the Jacksonville or Crystal Coast (Newport NC) Restore. The Goldsboro restore has good fans and lighting along with the friendliest staff.

I shop and donate here often! The staff is always a pleasure to work with and the organization of their new location is impressive.

The only thing I wish was better is the prices. If you compare these habit prices to other stores I've been in they seem to be much more expensive

I know that this is a thrift store but what were they thinking pricing old 80's white couch with tacky red flowers in 300 dollars? 😂 They should be more considerate with the prices,  IT IS A THRIFT STORE, everything over here its over priced, you can get new, less tacky items elsewhere for the same price or even cheaper.

Everything is priced too high. I would assume that the items for sale are items that were donated. I might be wrong but if they are, why are they asking eBay prices for everything?

Decent selection of movies and the customer service is alright but most of the items are overpriced for being a second hand store and it's annoying you have to spend at least $5 if you don't have cash.

Nice store but everything is to high price for a swift store. Not sure how their turn around is but probably be little better if came down on price. Some of used stuff cost as much as new.

I used to be able to find bargains here.  I understand if something is highly collectable or valuable pricing it high, but furniture, appliances, dishes, almost everything is way overpriced now.  I understand wanting to make the most money possible for the cause, but I just see the same stuff sitting in there over and over again now.  It's not a bargain at all.

Will find something once in awhile but normally the prices r wayyyyy to high. This is a resale store not an antiques shop. He said he couldnt build houses if he lowered his prices I said well u cant sell if ur prices r to high. Same items are there every wk to month

Staff were polite, had a pretty good selection of dressers, desks, couches, chairs, and dining tables, but it was pretty expensive and while I realize the people who work here are volunteers and funds from items that are donated go back into the program, the prices were just unrealistic to me.

I used to really enjoy this store... I went a couple days ago and it is completely jam packed. Dangerous to walk down some of the aisles. I think the drastic price increases have them selling less??  Certainly the case for me!!

I always shopped at this store to try and help people out but the prices have gone sky high for mediocre furniture! I don't know how they are still in business but i definitely miss the old location!

Prices are crazy high. Old plastic weights for retail prices. Old furniture priced at twice the real value.
I shop at antique stores, consignment  shops,and habitat stores all over the country,and this Greenville location has the worst prices. I assume whoever sets the prices is clueless. I ran across a few items that you can get brand new for cheaper. Facebook marketplace assuredly is a better option.
The Wilson restore has much better prices,and even they said the Greenville location has such high prices that customers go to the Wilson location all the time. For a store that gets everything donated, they have either lost a sense of purpose, or something dubious is going on.

Only two stars because it was very organized. However this is the MOST EXPENSIVE restore I have ever been in. Some things were reasonable, and others very high. Very inconsistent. Front section is where this is most prevalent. I wish it wasn't so, because this is a very good sized store.

I hate to be negative about an organization that does good things, but here's why I rarely spend any money here. I used to find some decent stuff at reasonable thrift store prices. But in the last few years, have seen mostly junk at ridiculous prices, in some cases almost the same as retail. I think this place might be running out of room because your products aren't priced right and just not selling.

This place has gone down hill. Manager has raised prices to keep resellers out. I also went to visit in December where they had "half off Christmas items" I listened to lady in charge explain what was considered half off to the cashier. She said only Christmas decor that is red or green is half off and the nice Christmas stuff is not half off. So what is considered "nice"? So basically you get 10 items and they pick and choose what they consider nice and will mark down only things that aren't "nice" and that are red and green. In which the cashier smartly told her, well a lot of customers will be confused when buying xmas stuff. Her response was "WELL TOUGH LUCK ON THEM". After working retail for over 10 years talking about customers out loud is unacceptable what more from what I assume is a supervisor or manager. If they have select Christmas items that are not on sale COMMON SENSE would be to have a shelf of all the "nice" Christmas decor and label that shelf "These items excluded in half off sale".  Pretty bad when the young staff has better customer service than the management. Workers are always very nice and pleasant to deal with, the problem with this store is management!

The prices are just too high! Especially the knick knacks and towels most of which are 1.00, you can buy these things at the dollar store or a dollar! Coffee mugs? really!??? Take a look at the prices and rethink them! Every person in the store when I was there were making negative remarks about the pricing!

I could hear the general manager speaking rudely to an injured employee while I was looking at these overpriced things. I absolutely will not be returning.

The management here sucks and almost everything is over priced. The GM of the store is really bad at his job.

My first time at the Pitt County Restore was a bit rough. When walking in the manager or director was up front making out with his dog and talking with an employee. Neither greeted people entering the store. I then walk through the store and they have some nice stuff. I can’t understand their pricing because everything was donated and it seemed awfully high for a thrift store. In the process of shopping I needed to use the restroom. I asked said manager/director where it was. He replied with we don’t have one. I walked away and proceed to hear him tell someone in the back that “customers can walk their asses over to Walmart to use the bathroom.” Really unprofessional and rude. Will not return.

Everything is priced so high- junk side of the road tables would be $150, some used items were priced more expensive than the brand new ones at Walmart next door- idk who is doing their pricing but they are way out of touch with reality - there was one item marked 50$ that I got for $5 at the thrift shop in Tarboro  - idk how they expect to get premium price  for worn items when the new items are half the price in other stores

Maybe yall should listen to all the negative reviews!  Your store is WAY OVERPRICED.  I won't be returning.  Can buy it cheaper brand new. Patetic

Stopped by to drop off a twin bed frame and was turned away because I missed the cut off time by less than 3 minutes. I planned on unloading it myself but I guess the two college kids at the front couldn’t be bothered with it.

I used come to the restore when it was downtown all this time. This time I went in and everything was almost 3 times the amount it is in Walmart. I had literally just left out of Walmart looking for a little food tray for eating while you watch tv and it was 10.00 brand new. I went next door to the habitat whose parking lot was completely EMPTY and looked around and that SAME exact table was almost 20 and it was covered in scratches. I understand it’s a non profit but all the items they get are donated. So there was a sweet young lady at the counter and I asked her. I said I don’t mean any harm but I’m just curious why are the prices so high and she said she really didn’t know because she didn’t price them but that the money was used to pay for houses. I said I understood and started to head out when this older lady with a ponytail and glasses told me that it wasn’t high and that this isn’t a thrift store. How rude. Then she proceeded to tell me it was made from a differ wood. Really? I love helping people but I will NEVER spend another dime in there again.

I've been looking for some home things for my son and his girlfriend as they set up to get their own place. The prices here are astronomical. I'm better off at Walmart or actually buying brand new things in a department store. I thought this was the kind of place to find gently used items for an obvious price discount. Nope, prices higher than antique stores. They sure think their stuff is special here.

Highest priced habitat for humanity restore i've ever been to. Furniture higher price than antique stores. Donations from Lowe's price for more than their retail shelf price at Lowe's. Very clean store lots of stuff i'm sure they'll have it next time you go. A price driven business.Definitely not into doing a volume business Even though their merchandise Donated.

I am absolutely disgusted at the prices! I just walked out of here! 50$ for a soup tureen! You’re supposed to be a non profit organization/thrift store and you’re charging these kinds of prices! I will not support a business that is restore that charges prices like this! I have never in my life ever seen a habitat for humanity price their items so highly! Do better! They had a casserole dish for $50 and a box of rocks for $15!

What a huge disappointment.   We live hours away from these stores , so when ever we are in a city with one
we always stop, and usually find GREAT deals.  Not so with this store.  There were dollar store items priced at  $3/4 each.  Everything is almost retail price and way over priced to have been donated to help raise money.  Drop the proces back to thrift store prices .  Make it affordable for people who don't have as much to afford something nice.  We won't return to this store.  Disappointed .

Place is way way over priced! Clerk told me she hears all the time don't even bother no more, it is a shame, stuff in there is price at almost new pricing and alot of it is JUNK! WHAT A SHAME! Your store is not a new store it is second hand! Price accordingly!

I shop all the habitat restores in the surrounding areas, Greenville is by far, the most overpriced, which makes the items stale with slow turnover. If things were priced lower, they would move quicker and more people would start to come to shop and more donations would follow.
I rarely leave with anything from Greenville branch.
As others have said, Raleigh(both stores) and Cary are  5 stars, I understand also, that Raleigh/Cary is a more metro area, but even smaller stores like Wilson still has a pretty good selection and reasonably price array than Greenville.

The prices are too high for items we donate. My co worker mom passed away I went in looking for something else stumbled across some of the pieces from here mom house and I know her mom is turning over in her grave at those prices 175 for a table set she paid $35. Used towels priced at 4$, habitat please lower your prices we are some stuff that has been there for months.

Y’all need to reconsider how you price things. I’m privileged enough to be sitting on my phone grumpy because you’ve priced a lavish piece of furniture, that I in no way needed in the first place, way out of my price range. But for others less privileged than me, specifically those who rely on second hand stores like Restore to furnish their homes, most of your prices are unjustifiable.
I’m not trying to be rude, but it really feels like you’re trying to be a vintage or an antique store, and you’re just not. Habitat is a wonderful organization that empowers the communities that need it. I would explore you to take that under consideration in the future when deciding on your pricing.

My mother in law bought a refrigerator an we have it 6 days to see if it was going to start getting any colder because the freezer wasn't even freezing the water in the ice cube trays an the refrigerator part wasn't getting cold enough to even keep milk or the lunch meat from spoiling  she ended up losing all the food she had in it, when she called them to tell them what was going on they said that they had checked it out with a thermometer an it was good, so it makes me wonder if maybe the thermometer was bad an so was the refrigerator because in the world that I live in it doesn't take over 6days for a ice cube trays to start to try and form an ice cube...

I normally don't have issues with this store. But recently when me and my boyfriend tried to go in, they said we could not enter without a mask. I can respect that but the fact that the employees did not have mask or gloves on was a stupid rule. If we have to wear a mask they should have to as well.

Prices for used items are higher than they are brand new at a retail store! The entire staff isn’t friendly and act like you’re bothering them. No helpfulness whatsoever. Bad odor! Don’t donate here.

If possible, I'd highly recommend choosing another place to donate or purchase items, at least in Greenville (Salvation Army has been a much better experience). We remodeled our half bath and master bathroom and 3 times have tried to get someone from Habitat to come pick them up (toilet, sink, vanity, mirror, light, etc.) but apparently it's not worth the 5 mile trip for that to occur. To me, that screams in the face of what the purpose of Habitat is. And the experiences we have had talking to the people there reflect the same issue.

When we asked about a product the person refused to cooperate with us and had a very nasty attitude. Dont know who she was (older lady blonde hair with glasses). She needs a lesson in customer service. Prices were too high! Would rather pay retail for new than retail for used.

Way over priced more than any habitat I've ever been in. They get down right rude if you try to talk them down on the "donationed" item that they're selling at a ridiculous price. They hide all the good power tools and items in the back. I was told by an employee they hide the tools to give to the volunteers in case they were to break them, they'll only break the donated ones. And also this habitat in Greenville hasn't built any homes in years. So they're hiding the good stuff and hoarding it. There are better places towards Grifton. Save your money and dont shop here.

I've been going to this store for about 3 years now and the prices have gotten so high that I might as well go to Lowe's.  You used to be able to find good deals at reasonable prices but when items like tiles are priced at double what a retail store would charge (and I know this because I had bought the exact tiles at Lowe's) I think that's poor management.  In general all the staff is very helpful and friendly and in the past I have had very good shipping experiences but in the past year prices have just gone up way to high.
