Precious Restorations- Art & Antique Restoration

My son had a ceramic/clay lamp originally purchased by his great-grandmother (in the 1960s) as a gift for his grandmother. Ultimately, when his grandmother no longer needed it, he was delighted to take it; the lamp had no monetary value, however, he was a student and needed a lamp. Over the years, the lamp travelled with him to a variety of cities. When his grandmother passed away three years ago, he realized that the lamp had significant meaning for him beyond just illumination and was so glad he had kept it with him all these years. Unfortunately, during a recent move, the lamp fell and broke into many pieces. He scooped up the pieces and, unable to bring himself to throw them away, brought them home to me assuming that I would eventually dispose of them. I recently discovered Precious Restorations and decided to make one last effort with the lamp pieces before tossing them. The repair job they did was truly unbelievable! The lamp came back to life bringing with it all its memories! Many thanks!

Mom painted this perfect ceramic figurine for me. She passed seven years ago. When I found it in pieces on the carpet two weeks ago, I fell to the floor, sobbing. My husband helped me pick up the pieces and whisked it to this magical place where Jack and Dana put her back to together again. I cried tears of joy and cannot thank them enough for their flawless restoration. I told my husband this must be the nicest thing anyone has done for me, so grateful.

Would highly recommend for any repair you have. Very welcoming and friendly right off the bat and seemed ready to take on any challenge. Brought them a ceramic lampshade that had split in half through some intricate paintwork. They freely admitted to never seeing a piece like it before but were willing to give it a shot. They even set expectations regarding what outcomes might look like and why. Reasonable rates and a perfect repair later, I couldn't be happier with their services.

If they had more stars, I would give it to them. Precious Restorations is an exceptional company I had a Delft kitchen shadowbox that was completely broken. The shadowbox was knocked off the wall and broke in quite a few pieces and the little Delph China became unstuck, etc. he put everything back together beautifully. It was from the Smithsonian Institute gift shop, and I was heartbroken when it smashed. The owner,Jack Marble, is excellent at his craft and also keeps you informed every step of the way Thank you Jack for bringing back to me my precious memory. (My husband gave it to me 30 years ago and he has past away so it was very special to me)

I brought an oil painting done by my father’s aunt to be repaired after an accidental tear of the 100+ year old canvas and subsequent flaking of the original paint. I chose to have the painting cleaned, as well. I was STUNNED to see how well Precious Restorations repaired and cleaned my beloved family heirloom! Thank you guys so much! I’ll be bringing all my paintings in for cleaning - it made such a huge difference in the clarity and color of the piece.

I was heartbroken when I broke a gift from a family member. I contacted Jack at Precious Restorations and explained the situation. He quickly responded and said he had availability to do the repair. Two weeks later I went to pick up the piece and it was blown away by the repair. Great craftsmanship, great customer service. I highly recommend Precious Restorations.
