My husband and I love this spot. We have frequented nearly all the local antique shops and this is by far our favorite. We now have 5 gorgeous pieces of furniture from Just the Thing in our house and all were very affordable!

Eclectic consignment shop with very reasonable prices!  Wide variety of items.  We bought a few things for our home there and were happy with them.

This spot is more than meets the eye. They packed away so many niches with differently themed antiques, oddities, and furniture that will be sure to appeal to all perusers. We came to pick up a single gift and ended up snagging many things for ourselves and others.

I'd never been there before but there was a lot to look at. Well decorated, loved the merchandise - beautiful scarves, interesting jewelry, some antique items.

What a darling shop! Full of all kinds of interesting stuff at great prices! So fun to wander through the different rooms. And an adorable little boxer who greets you at the register. Looking forward to going back for more bargains.

I have been going to just the thing for 20 years at least and it’s my all time favorite store for my self and buying gifts for friends and family. Susan and her staff are super sweet and wonderful at helping anyone find a special gift or help them with ideas for items that would work in the spaces at home. Very few stores now a days have that kind of service and caring for their customers, and I will keep going in on a regular basis to see what new items have been brought out to the floor. A great place to shop for refinished and second hand furniture and creative trinkets.

I had purchased an item at an
antique sale and discovered
a piece missing when opening at home . Calling the seller
brought no response. I went to
"Just the Thing" having purchased similar items from them. They were able to find
a replacement piece and refused to charge me. While
there I found two lovely gifts.

Amazing, unique, cool vintage shop. Never know what you’ll find. Fair prices and friendly employees. Definitely worth a trip while shopping in Dover! 5 stars!!!

Just the Thing is a wonderful store in downtown Dover.  Filled with antique items as well as handmade arts and crafts, Just the Thing might actually have that special something you've been looking for.  Staff are friendly and knowledgeable.  I'm always amazed at the size and variety of inventory.  It's a small storefront but don't let looks deceive you.  The store is on two floors and has multiple rooms of goods.  Always happy to visit as things are always coming in.

Just the Thing has a wide variety of vintage and new/fun items and is a great place to shop for a unique gift.  It's a wonderful place to browse and find great treasures.  The people in the store are very helpful and friendly.  A definite stop when in downtown Dover!

The store hosts a variety of sellers displaying a wide range of vintage and found objects, and furniture with an eclectic nostalgia, vintage, refurnished, and worth a browse weekly because the "things" change regularly and are displayed in variety of ways.
Has the feel of a great vintage fair but with air conditioning and no dirt under your feet.

I could go here daily and find new things that I love and want. I have so many unique things in my home that I found here. The store could not be more accurately named. You actually do find "Just the Thing" you are looking for.

In love! The prices are beyond reasonable and there is really something for everyone. I wanted to re-do my entire home after stopping by.

Lovely store filled with lots of treasures!  Now that I have found it, I will be back for as many gift-giving occasions as I can make up.

A very nice and reasonably price shop.  We'll decorated a joy to spend time looking around.

Thumbs up.  Alot of home cozy stuff that seems to be all the days for hominess, but some other nice finds and really goo eclectic furniture and furnishings that are not in the modern marketplace, and a bit of local craftsmanship.

I visit from California every year and stop in here to pick up gifts for my friends. I have purchased a couple water color paintings and some interesting folk art. I think for an inexpensive place to pick up a little something for family and friends this is a good place. Additionally they do have some one of a kind furniture items. Cabinets, tables, and chairs. It's worth a look.

Didn't really get to look around completely but from what I did see, such a nice mix of handmade and antique items... Can't wait to go back and slowly explore it more.

The kind of place you have to check out for yourself! Vintage, antique, new-tique, chic etc.
