How to tell when the community as a whole treats the most vulnerable. The Grey nuns speaks volumes by itself. This thrift shop collaborates with other agencies & provides many essential needs towards the most vulnerable in this city. Part of this collaboration is the NSKS voucher program granting those who needed it the most & provides basic needs to weather the storm in life. E.g. tents , blankets, clothing, including hugs,everything. Each day I am in this shop I gained an uplifting energy to keep going even I am not sure where I am heading. As they say, there is beauty in suffering. I find it beautiful how the store shows love & compassion in action towards the most vulnerable. To the donors, volunteers , & patrons, your response to the needs of this community is immeasurable. Remember that on the other side of the dimension of giving is receiving. I went shopping today at the grey nuns thrift store in Nashua NH. The owner of this store is such a great person. In the cold weather we are having she makes sure in boxes outside of her store there are coats, gloves, hats and other outerwear for free to anyone that needs them. Please shop this store to help her to be able to continue this. If you have things you would like to donate she will take it.

What a fun thrift store with great prices. The ladies who run it are very personable and kind. They have an electric mix. I found Christmas decor and a cute throw. Look forward to returning! Wanted to update my review. This is one of my favorite thrift stores in the area. There are very good deals on high quality clothes and housewares. I've found almost new quality sneakers (Asics) and nice brands like Ann Taylor, new and like new clothes from TJ Maxx , etc. My family and I donate regularly (and also shop there). It supports a wonderful mission and cause.

This place was awesome! I found a pair of American Eagle striped jeans and they were so cute and only $5 but I have too many pants. Totally would’ve gotten them! I did buy the most dainty little watch that just needs a new battery and I’m so excited to get it back from the jewelers (Cardin jewelers on the same street). They also have a new housewares store right next door.
