One of the best places to buy comic books , science fiction books, and merchandise

Sal and Marie are two of the most amazing people ever. I have been shopping with them for 20 plus years and I’ll never go anywhere else. Their selection and knowledge of comics and all things pop is unmatched. You have to see their store and you can also shop on their online Amazon store as well. Whatever you are looking for you’ll find there. If they don’t have it they’ll get it. Strongly recommended

Love the store friendly customer service. I mostly go here for Funko pop and weekly comics. If I can’t find it they show me where it at.

That most fun I have had at a store! Owner is refreshing and so kind, very knowledgeable and always has the newest comics in stock each week. Friendly welcoming atmosphere! We make it a point to always stop when in the area.

Went to Adventureland store to purchase a gift certificate. Owner was friendly an courteous. This store has a ton of neat stuff.....funkopop figurines....comic books.

My son went here looking for a specific comic. The employee who helped was friendly and knowledgeable and put in extra effort to help try and find what my son wanted even though the end result was they didn't have it.

Adventureland is great for newer comics, trades, and pop culture memorabilia. The store owner is always friendly and accommodating.

Visited on Free Comic Book Day, cashier read me all of the available free comic titles behind the counter since my vision was bad at the time.

The employee/owner of this store is incredibly generous. My son was in the store for a while debating on what to get with the money he had…….the guy wound up cutting him a GREAT deal to help him out! Beyond generous!

This store has an awesome selection of games and toys at very reasonable prices.  I was amazed at the variety, there is a little bit of everything;some obscure and others very popular.  Trivia,  puzzles, board games,  kids games and books, and much more.

Adventureland Store is the best. A brick and mortar comic book store (you don't see too many anymore sadly) and they also have a ton of superhero / movie / wrestling / pop culture t-shirts and collectibles. They also do a lot of wrestling meet and greets (not my thing but cool for the people into it and seems pretty popular). Sal and Marie are the owners and after one conversation with them, you realize they're top notch people and want to be their friend. Just a great place with a whole lot of really cool stuff. I highly recommend.

Awesome was there last Friday and got the DareDevil Guardian Devil comic and I have to say best comic book I ever read they have a variety of comics and definitely will come back if I am in the Blackwood area since I live in Woodbury also if u could get the Doomsday Clock comic that'll be awesome otherwise great store.

A great store I that I love! They have TCG cards (Vanguard, Buddyfight, Pokemon, MTG, Weiss Schwarz, Dragon Ball Z, and more), comics, tons of neat things, and much more! If you've never been to this store, check it out as soon as you can!

Before there was Voorhees Town Center there was Echelon Mall and a store called Hall of Heroes. It was a store that had comics, toys, and apparel. Unfortunately when  the mall became the Town Center it was one of the stores that left. However Adventureland Store (located in what used to be Hot Topic) has filled that void. Not only does it have a great selection of comics, toys, and apparel at great and very reasonable prices, the staff are extremely welcoming and helpful. As a girl that’s into comics I know how  important it is to have a place where a girl can go into that sells comics and not feel uncomfortable or out of place for being in there. I can confidently say that this store provides a judgement free zone. This is the kind of store that anyone can come into and feel at home in. I would highly recommend taking a look at this store it will not disappoint.

Forget Disney, Adventureland Store is the Happiest Place on Earth....and New Jersey .!

Wish they had more pokemon and Mangas. There show them on banners but not actual products in store

The disheveled, unkept employee is probably the only thing the gives this store a bad rating. He's rude, unhelpful, and can't get off his phone. He doesn't greet, even bother to acknowledge the patrons, and over the weekend I saw him try to reprimand and touch a LITTLE kid right in front of the parents. Get this guy out and you might bring in some more business. I love the outlets, my husband and kids love this place. But we won't go in if he's there.

So in September 2023 I pre-ordered the first issue of wolverine versus predator. I told them which variant cover I wanted on the computer and the name of the artist and they ordered me the wrong one. When I went months later I told them it was the wrong one, so they said they would send it back and get the other one. It’s now March 2024 and they still haven’t gotten the comic book, every time I go, they say the same thing it still hasn’t gotten here yet. I don’t know why it’s taking so long but it’s definitely the last time I order anything from them. NO HELP WHAT SO EVER ! Do not recommend!

It's now October 2024 and i have yet to receive my comic book. I was there yesterday, and I got the saammmmee story.

Bought a soda pop and the inside was opened when it should be sealed . This guy buys orders of pops and keeps all the chases to himself to upcharge it , why not just let the people enjoy the experience of finding chases in the wild . He’ll find whatever way he can to charge more than what things are worth . Better off buying everything online will be way cheaper .

Came in during a slow time. Two employees talked to each other, never asked if I needed help, basically ignored me. When I asked a question they seemed bothered. Not going back.

Good store in terms of the products they sell, but their return policy sucks. I tried to return an item and I was told that they only take returns for in-store credit so if you’re ever debating on buying something from them, you’re better off just not buying it because if you decide you want to return it, you can’t get your money back. Nowhere on the receipt does it say anything like “returns are only accepted for in-store credit”. I’m not a business owner, but in my opinion that’s just not a good business decision. It’s going to turn customers away from wanting to come back because they were declined a refund for their money.

Wish I could've gave a negative star didn't want me in the store and I can tell by the way he said he didn't have Legos but he has comic books he still said no.   🤣  maybe it's my complexion in which he kept saying no 🤔

I went there on a Friday afternoon at 10a. They weren't open. I hung around until 11a to see if they would open and they never did. They said open online as well. I even tried calling to see if an associate would answer the phone inside. Voice-mail said "sorry can't answer the phone right now because all employees are busy". Like you guys aren't even open, and there's not even a manager to complain to. I wasn't the only customer trying to get in either.

Well I ordered a New Day WWE cardboard cutout on 8/6/2020 and have yet to receive it. I get times are tough right now and things can be alittle slow. But the lack of communication and the long response times (if you ever get an email back) are a little disheartening. It was only 60 bucks, but come on.

Horrible customer service!!!! Don’t go to any meet and greets here!!! They take pictures on a cheap camera and the camera person doesn’t know what they’re doing. Tried to complain on their FB page and instead of listening to the customer THEY BLOCKED AND MOCKED ME AFTER!!!!

Go to iPlay America if you want better service and crisp and beautiful pictures of you with famous wrestlers and athletes. Not AdventureLand where the service is horrendous and disrespectful!!! STAY AWAY!!!!

First time ever going in and I'm looking at pokemon cards, limited selection, trying to buy some, and only having been there for 5 minutes, sole purpose for being there and some buy grabs me and tells me that I need to vacate the store because they are closing at 1pm on a Sunday and gave me no explanation at all. Huge waste of a half hour drive from oaklyn.
