Working with the husband-wife owners, Jalil and Maryam, is a totally delightful experience! Every rug in the showroom is gorgeous, and they are both super insightful in helping me figure out what might work in my various rooms! My brother introduced me to them 2 years ago when I found a spectacular rug for my bedroom. This weekend, I went back, with my best friend, and they helped both of us find more beautiful rugs for our homes! They are so knowledgable, come up with ideas I wouldn't have thought of, and really care about each person they are working with. If you're looking for beautiful rugs, check them out. Fabulous experience every time I'm there! :)

I inherited a number of good quality rugs that were in desperate need of cleaning and repair. The people at the rug gallery did a superb job reconditioning them and providing each with a high quality pad. When they were done, the rugs really showcased the rooms I put them in. I was also impressed with how much they knew about the genealogy of each rug. I’m about to do some interior redesign and plan to use a rug chosen from their great selection to anchor the new space.

I have known Jalil and Maryam for a number of years now and had them clean many older Persian carpets with fantastic results, improving their condition and appearance dramatically. I've also spent many hours talking with Jalil about the vast world of Persian and other carpets, and his knowledge is superb. We are extremely pleased with our recent purchase of a rug made in India. It was was purchased for our new home and will be the focal point in the loft style living space. Out of the many beautiful rugs we found one that was perfect for us. The very gracious and knowledgeable owners encouraged us to take our time and bring in fabric samples from our furniture along with photos of the pieces that would share this particular room. We are so happy with the rug, the service, and the decision we made!

I first met Jay and his wife when I stopped into the store to ask if they cleaned rugs (they do, by hand). There was a large collection of Orientals displayed, so I told my wife who was looking for a stair runner. Jay brought over several items, but none would quite fit. After a long search he found the right item that is pretty much ideal. Jay and his wife are extremely knowledgeable and friendly and go out of their way to accommodate their customers. Their prices are fair for the quality of the product. We had previously looked at samples of other not much cheaper carpets and there was no comparison. Princeton Rug Gallery’s products are the real thing. The runner was installed on a Sunday by Mike and Rich. Both men were professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. They arrived on time and were finished ahead of schedule. Both men are also a lot of fun to be around, they seem to enjoy people’s company. I would definitely recommend Jay and Princeton Rug Gallery if you are looking for this type of product. Excellent selection and service.
