In this day and age, it is rare to meet, such an honest, reliable, generous with his time and sincere individual as Tom Petrino of the Time Traveler Antiques and Appraisers in Hamilton Square NJ. We were downsizing our home. Tom came over multiple times and helped us differentiate the items from truly valuable to ordinary stuff. Tom is by far the epitome of professional! He appraised a piece for me ( online through photos) as i do live quite far from him, all i wanted to know was the year he thought it might have been constructed in. I sent him detailed photos of different angles and he responded efficiently and gave me an answer within a few short hours of receiving the photos! He did this out of the kindness of his heart, and asked nothing of me! You can tell for him it is about the passion and love for the antiques, rather than the $. I highly recommend him for any appraisal needs!!

Beware! This appraiser BUYS your items cheap and resells for profit. NEVER trust an appraiser who purchases your items. You will NEVER get an honest value. It's a HUGE conflict of interest.
