2nd Ave Thrift Superstore - Union, NJ

Great stop for a quick outfits, pots, pans, toys and books. It is organized here and does not have that typical thrift store smell. So I love it

I’ve gone to this store occasionally 5 yrs ago and more over the past year. It is well organized. I mainly go here for home items, books and toys. I’ve found some great finds when taking my time to look throughout the store. My toddler enjoys going here. We have found a few now favorite toys here. It’s expected to find a variation in variety each visit since it is thrifting but each trip has been a good experience…con: occasionally however not often the pricing seems off but overall big deals. And deals where it really counts.

I'm a regular here. This is my favorite thrift/second-hand store. They have reasonable prices and a good selection of items. There are also plenty of discounts and coupons available depending on the season and day/holiday. Some workers have been there for a while and are really friendly.

One of my favorite thrift store each time I went to visit my family, always make stop there love everything about it ,the staff are very helpful , kind & patience , price not bad for me at all I give them 100********************** I shop there very often once again, 2nd ave thrift store in union NJ is one of my favorite love love love it (May the Lord bless all the staff as always )

The store is always neat and organized. If you're a regular thrifter you know how important this is. They organize their books by subject too which is great. The product selection is hit or miss but they're relying both on quality of donations and staff availability to put out new stock, so that doesn't cause them to lose any points in my book. I've never left this place without finding at least one thing. In fact I've found plenty of great items here in my visits. I love the guy who works behind the counter too. He's so charismatic and really cares about the customers and making sure we can see the items they have behind the counter. I always have a great time here browsing the aisles to find new interesting things.

I love this store, where I find the decoration that I love at good prices, I find vintage pieces and pieces to decorate my Farmhouse style house. The store is well organized, clean… I love it, I love it. I recommend it 100%.

I had a great experience here! The store and all of the items were totally clean. There’s a huge selection, especially of women’s clothes. Everything is well sorted by type, size, and color of tag. The women’s tops were great! The dressing rooms were spacious and super clean. My only complaint is that some of the prices, especially for fast fashion brands like Shein, are similar to what the items likely originally sold for. They have great color tag sales though!

The Procurement Queen family always have a positive experience, the staff is helpful the store is organized. Our favorite time to shop is around a major holiday such as 4th of July when all clothing is 50% off. It is an adventure shopping there we always find designer labels for cheap. I give me kids a budget like $10 each to see how many items they can buy. We love this store go check it out if you are in the area.

The atmosphere of this store is amazing. The friendliest staff of any thift store I've ever been to. Probably because their employees actually have benefits. This store is absolutely beautiful. Very inviting. The store is clean and organized (save the toy section, but thats to be expected). The air smells good. Great ventalation. Really good stuff. Better than other places. They have a free rewards system. The employees are always nice and helpful. They also give their employees benefits and fair wages. And if I have to pay a few pennies more for friendly employees with benefits, a good HVAC system that gives clean air, an organized store, and great items, then I will happily pay more, because those things are priceless. Hours are great. They open early, and close late, even on Sundays. So I always have time to go there for a little shopping. I always go out of my way to give all my best donations to Green Drop, because I know they will end up going where they rightfully belong. The only things I don't like are that there is way too much clothing. Takes up about 75% of the store. And they don't have much large sizes of anything. And there are vultures who wait in the back by the doors, and snatch up everything to resell before they even make it to the floor. They need to impose strict rules against that. I understand that they are just trying to make a living, and the store is trying to sell stuff as quickly as possible. But that's a very minor annoyance compared to other thrift stores, such as myunique. I would rather get a root canal than shop at myunique. On the opposite side of the spectrum, I have been to other thrift stores that have really cheap prices, but the stores are awful. The stores are disorganized, the employees are mean jerks (myunique thrift), the air is stale, and there's nothing worth even buying. I just want to get out of these as soon as possible (except myunique, I would never step foot in that store again). You really get what you pay for at 2nd Ave. An ultimately nice shopping experience.

If you think that going to a thrift store is a nightmare due to the strong smell and stuff all over the place, then you should visit this store in Union New Jersey. At first, I thought I was getting into a Wal-Mart but with lower prices. This store is great in terms of prices, cleaning and organization. It was quite a nice surprise, and the clothing and other stuff they offer there are on pristine conditions. I strongly recommend it.
