Great for decorating your home at a fraction of the cost

I go to a lot of thrift stores, and I can tell you, speaking from experience, this is a good one.
Furniture, tools, homewares, books, you can even almost always get a washer or dryer here for under a hundred bucks a piece.
Cheap power tools, really cheap hand tools, and some architectural elements like windows, doors, etc.
Always a great selection of furniture.
If you know what you're looking for, or even don't know what you're looking for, there's always treasures to be found here.
No clothes though. They opened a new store for all of their clothing in town, at the old QuickChek pharmacy. Haven't been by there yet, because they are closed on my days off, which I'm super bummed about.

Good little reuse store you find an occasional gem and standard staples. nice people all around

Restore in Washington NJ is Great!  It's a Huge place with a lot of furniture to choose from of all types, living room dining room kitchen, etc. Also there's a Very large section for knick knacks that weaves around throughout the store. There's a whole fabric section. There's a tool section & an electronic section. Down the street on Belvidere Ave is a whole bldg of theirs just for a thrift shop of used clothing. 10 Stars!!!

The staff is very helpful and friendly. I go from time to time to drop off some donations. They are quick and easy to work with.

There is a great range of good stuff at great prices.  The staff is amazing.  Do yourself and your community a favor, check it out, I will be surprised if you can leave empty-handed.

I absolutely love coming here, everyone is so nice, a few of the volunteers know me by name. I can always find something useful or I find something for my collections. Plus I know the profits go to a great cause and that makes my heart happy.

I recall the prior location. This one is much bigger and in a newer building. The only thing I find on the not so positive side is the price on the antique furniture. Example; a 44" dresser with a handle missing is $129.00.

Love this store! I always find something to purchase. They have everything from clothes, furniture, tools, home reno supplies and much much more all at extremely reasonable and affordable prices. Give yourself enough time to do some serious browsing-it takes a while to see everything and on Saturdays they close at 5pm.

Loved this place will definitely go again...Some really good buys...Very clean and organized.. Staff was very friendly...Much better product than the Salvation Army...If you haven't been there definitely check it out

I absolutely love Restore. Whatever I need for my home it is my go to first. My home has several furniture pieces, as well as items for cooking and decor. My company are amazed at how nice my home looks and all the money I saved, plus going green. They asked where this store is located.

Great used furniture finds! Lots of kitchen, home goods, and appliances too!  Found some things brand new still in the box.

I love just walking around checking everything out! So much to see and find to bring home! And the staff is super friendly, they seem to enjoy their jobs, which is rare nowadays. Definitely going back again and again!!!

Easily one of my favorite stores in Washington,  NJ. Today they gave an additional 30% off of items already marked as a steal!! I bought an antique mirror for $5 (price before the 30% discount), a power surge protector for $2, and a quaint little basket filled with very nice stoneware for setting your chopsticks down in between bites of sushi and sashimi! This last item was $3. In one of the photos I placed a Quarter dollar for size reference.

I got some really great stuff for my home at ridiculously reasonable prices.  The atmosphere was nice, the people were wonderful, great customer service. A+

Staff is pleasant. This spot has a lot of normal odds and ends, but alot of treasures too.  We've scored some antique and vintage furniture for pittence.

First time going in years since they had the old store. Organized beautifully, super cheap and cute glass, dinnerware and cups. I wish there was more diversity in smaller furniture but I probably came at the wrong time. Amazing deals especially since I fix and re-sell so I will definitely be back

This is one of my favorite stores. It is smaller than some of the other locations but the people are always friendly and helpful. The selection is unique and varied. It is worth the time to stop and walk around.

Friendly and helpful and mostly Volunteer staff. Quiet and clean. (Some retail stores are sooo niosey). Very affordable. If your looking for just that style, Warren County Habitat for Humanity Restore is the place to start. Just standing in the spacious show/store room I've come up with some really good thoughts, ideas and furniture/items on my empty nest redecorating. Plan to spend a little time. I live close and just stop to check on new items. I often find myself relaced, somewhat on entry, and browsing a bit more than I plan. Very pleasant atmosphere.

Such a fun place to go and browse around. The staff is so friendly and all the money goes to a great cause habitat for humanity. It's a win-win for sure

One of my favorite places to walk through. You can get beautiful pieces of furniture for decent prices while donating to humanity! Also dishes, pots, pans, all sort of goodies for the home.

Love this place!! Have gotten absolutely beautiful pieces for almost nothing including 4 pieces of solid oak Thomasville bedroom furniture for 300.00. When I checked on Ebay I saw the eight drawer chest for $800.00!!!!!
I tell everyone about this place. And to make it even better they use the money for a good cause.

Lots of used couches and furniture. Also kitchen items, glassware and clothes. Store very well organized.

Used to be a place for great deals. As of late like everything else prices have gone up. Yes it's for charity so that's why we always stop by and grab something. Visit multiple times because what you don't see today might be on the floor tomorrow

This ReStore receives a lot of donations, so merchandise is priced to MOVE —to make room. Vintage items. DIY items. Good prices.

As a homeowner,  I try to stop into the Restores from time to time. This location is better than the Lehigh Valley one when it comes to the little things we need.  We usually find something useful.

This is pretty cool resale shop.

Now compared to the ReStore of Lehigh Valley this place is much more a resale operation with a small amount of contractor goods.  So if you need more along those lines it may be worth trekking down to Whitehall PA.

If not, this place has a good selection of furniture and home wares.  and the prices are very reasonable. We got a couch and matching chair for about $45.

Always getting new inventory, very eclectic mix of products, from housewares to furniture. Always courteous staff.

Good prices, not as big as other habitat stores. They have a cool "everything's $1" section for plates, utensils and more.

Occasional good deals but prices have gotten too high. They need to be open one night later than 5 for those of us that work.

The cashier was very helpful and the store is well organized. Used thrift shop where some of the profits go to building homes.

Good for some household items but not for electronics. I bough a washer and dryer for almost $400 and paid a mover 120 for delivery. None of them worked and now I’m left to pay another $120 to have it returned in order to get my refund. Not worth the loss and inconvenience. I bought other electronics there and most times they are faulty so I guess it’s on me for not learning from previous experience.

It's getting better organized than it was before. Still a little slapdash. Interesting stuff but some items too highly priced. Want to move merchandise? CDs should be a dollar or less -- they are old, many artists not that popular. Records? Forget it. The price they ask for old vinyl that is not collectors items is ridiculous. Records they have can be had in better condition for fifty cents to a dollar. The records are the biggest price inaccuracy.

Books $3? They don't charge $3 at book fairs & flea markets. Books should be a dollar or less & customers might part with their money faster & buy more than one. Clean shelves make room for new books. With a little more reconsideration & forgetting that they are not an antique store they could move more items quickly.

That Realistic amp they have didn't sell for the price they're asking when it was new. Realistic is Radio Shack. Good for parts, never good for hardware. It was always a cheap product...if the amp was an old McIntosh, or Phase Linear they might get over $500 used. It's not uh....Realistic (sorry for the pun). Oh.. Plug them in & play them so people see the equipment works.

None of the Dvds on display are worth $3. They are mostly junk. $1 & they could move them out the door faster...though in all honesty, they are titles that are at every flea market for a buck.

I am looking at the ability to move merchandise faster & get repeat business. I have been there several times -- the same items,are still there. They shouldn't be there that long. It costs money to have a product on the shelf that does not move. Raising money is the aim, cash register has to ring.

Specials should be attractive & pull in people. I don't see this right now. Seems they are trying to make browsing easier...that's a start.  The place appears better than it did a year ago.

But certain items move -- others don't. The items that move should be upfront. If they put Cds near the floor older people are not going to bend to look. Eye level -- everything. Catch their interest. Motivate their curiosity. Make them want it even though they don't really need it. People like taking things home. Pencils, pens, crayons, dolls, toys, colored paper, all should be at eye level for children. Tag the words "make an.offer" on items that are damaged or slow to sell but still somewhat useable. Like the shoes.

Hang a sign telling kids if they see something they like ask Grandma. (Ok...I admit, I am pushing it...It worked in the 70's at toy stores).

Ok...that's my marketing suggestions to a place that has potential. But could get more bang.

Clean it up a little. Clutter & dust is not going to move stuff that could be moved. Get some teens to volunteer to dust bottles etc...presentation is everything. I speak this way because I come by to nose around. My wife won't. Too dirty, dark and unattractive. How many other people feel the same way & don't come? Those are the people you want. They have eyes, and wallets. Hope this helps.

Good selection of stuff but the prices are nearly retail for anything worth buying!! If the prices came down I will definitely raise review!!!

Liked older store location better.. prices used to be pretty good.. now there are all over the place!
Used to always find great quality items and   tools.. NOW there non existant!! Don't know what happened.. alot of low quality stuff now..

What is going on with these new prices? Wasn’t always this bad.

Grabbed a few items (That were put out).  An employee comes over to me and says "that wasn't supposed to be put out"   grabs the items from me and walks them into the back. The items even had prices on them already.

I have been so disappointed with the restore on 57 in Washington, NJ over the past several months. They use to be a little disorganized but with fair prices and things people would want. There is so much just junk in the dollar section you should just throw in the garbage.  The prices have increased to a point of ridiculous. I think it is a wonderful cause and have supported them since they opened but when I saw something I donated for more than I paid for it, that solidified my opinion of the prices. This cause builds houses for people in need but I think you should keep in mind that a lot of the people who SHOP there are in need.

Used to be a great second hand shop where many treasures could be found.  However, since the prices have been raised dramatically and the customer rewards program was ended, there is zero incentive to bother stopping anymore.  Didn't take long to start using the community to its' benefit, that's for sure.  Greed & self service are what you'll find there today!

No organizationEverything looks like it was just thrown in there, prices way too high ,need someone to turn it around, after all it's for a good cause,  maybe have couple of days where you give 50 % off to unload some of the junk be more realistic about your prices!!!!!

I regularly donate at the Restore, I believe in the mission and in what they stand for.
Donating should be a hassle free endeavor but unfortunately the people in the store's employ leave much to be desired.
Every single box of donations is picked apart with a fine tooth comb and we always end up taking something back.
The man who is in charge of taking the donations is also rude and nosy, constantly asking where did we get so many items? And why are your car plates not from NJ? Not to mention that we do all the unloading once we arrive.
He singles us out, why? No idea.
He actually walked away from helping another doner with furniture just to  come aggravate us.
I called to speak with a manager and the exact same thing happened the very next day.

When you are taking free items from the public in order to turn a profit a certain amount of grace should be in order.
The community supplies the donations, without doners it would be near impossible to thrive.

It is really unfortunate because we enjoy helping the community but when the people who represent your organization behave in that way, it really makes us want to go elsewhere.

I've been going to the Habitat store for years. Since they were over by Tractor Supply. I am not impressed with the direction they're headed. They used to have all sorts of construction materials, tools, a trailer full of windows, doors with frames, great appliances. Now it seem all they have is mostly junk. I understand the antique people being there as the store opens, they grab up all the old pieces, but you can get a decent piece of furniture, a decent couch it table, some cool bric-a-brac. The other day I get a cabinet and went around out back to pick it up, and there are two almost new snowblowers with sold on them sitting outside the building, I can guarantee they never hit the showroom floor. I saw the same thing a couple of times with things like lawn tractors, power equipment, nice tools. I now understand why there's never any good stuff anymore. The guys in the back, sorting stuff are grabbing it first. Plus I saw all sorts of construction materials over by the dumpsters with "not for sale". I should have taken a picture. And I once heard a woman sorting items, say to her friend about finding some Antique thingy, she would have paid hundreds for. They've got to stop the people in back from grabbing everything, I said something to the manager and he said "well if you volunteer here you can be first in line."  "WHAT?"  I bring items there all the time, I need to work there as well?  My advise...you may find a great deal, but don't count on it.

I hate this place because theres bed bugs and other bloodsucking creatures in the crap they sell. If you want cheap furniture and other things, the place is great!!!! If you also want a 1500.00 dollar pest control bill, and bites all over you body, its perfect for you also.
