Shawn and her family have worked tirelessly to bring cool antiques from the northern hemisphere to sell at great prices in Santa Fe. We have bought and sold and she always is gracious and professional and empathetic..and we like people that like people. Which is why we go in. I have purchased rugs, furniture artwork and loads of odd accessories. Lately it's not as geared for antiquers...but they have jewelry, pottery, furnishings etc.  Sometimes there are groups or estates of unique photographs , etchings, lithographs and sculpture. Some very interesting finds..

Beautifully curated and staged, this place has high end cosignment items, including furniture, art, rugs, dinner ware, decorative pieces, clothing and jewelry.  They're about to open a second, higher end store across the street from the original.

Great place to shop.   If you know your stuff, You will find the prices fair.   If you live in SF, can send your guests/tourists here and they will be busy for a while.

We have found so many wonderful things here. The staff is always warm and very friendly; especially the owner who goes out of her way to be helpful. Very fair pricing especially for Santa Fe and always a positive experience even when I don't find anything.

Great consignment store with an interesting variety of items including imports and artsy items, books and clothes.  Always ask about prices, they may be able to give you a better price if it is an item that has not sold for a long time.

Congeries is an eclectic treasure trove of local and international  antiques, furniture, art, jewelry, and clothes. I stop by several times a month and never leave empty-handed! The upstairs clothing boutique never ceases to amaze me as the turnover is high and there's always something new to discover! This is my favorite consignment store in Santa Fe! If you're in town for a visit be sure to add this destination to your list, it won't disappoint!

Love this place with it's wide variety of furniture and household consignments

Great place to shop, always something new and something that you didn't know you needed.

This is one of my favorite consignment stores. Nearly all good quality and good "cool" factor. The owner and all employees are very personable, they even have a "notify" list if you are looking for something specific. Not "high-end" huge, heavy stuff that does not interest me in the least. Much more "Santa Fe"ish than that. Well organized, uncluttered, and easy to take a quick walk through and look for new stuff.  The first few times I was in there it took an hour or so to look thoroughly. And of course they are glad to loan you their measuring tape. We have sold a couple of items through them and you need to read the contract carefully so you know the rules.

This store is is so wonderful and full of amazing unique pieces and furniture that you have never seen anywhere like it in the world and the friendly staff to boot they really care about their customers

This store is breathtaking. The variety of objects and furniture is constantly changing and there is something new and fun every time. I felt very attended to by the friendly staff and I am excited to bring my friends here for an outing. The couch I bought fits my home perfectly and the price was very reasonable. It is so refreshing to visit a "fashion forward" thinking consignment shop. Also I found a great pair of vintage red boots upstairs in the clothing section. Next time the Ferragamos.

This is a great spot to visit in Santa Fe.  Very definitely high-end items, which of course you expect in Santa Fe!  But we've found at times, that you can get some southwestern items for very decent prices, compared to what you'll see at the Santa Fe plaza.  We've bought two Navajo rugs over the last two years.   The prices are consistently marked, and if an item has a date that is more than about 6 mos ago, the owners are resdy to respond to what you may offer.

Lots of stuff to choose from but I couldn't figure out how it was organized.  I found a couple pieces that I may return for but not a great deal was to my taste.  Many items did appear to be higher quality than I've seen at other local consignment shops.

Very cool place have any stuff laying around your house if you want to get rid of put it on consignment you might just get rid of it lot of neat stuff inside there.

Always fun to see what's new here. Prices are high for some things but you can also find a bargain. Some great clothing. Furniture if you can afford it. Staff is super nice

This is a fun and interesting shop. They turn over stock fairly quickly, and you never know what you'll find. I enjoyed the vendors in the new section of the store- the Day of the Dead dolls were amazing.
I didn't have the greatest experience selling here, but that was at least 2 yrs ago. They didn't pull my unsold items, and I had to find them myself. The store is huge, so it was a bit tricky.
It's definitely worth a stop in. They have household items, furniture, clothes, accessories, art, jewelry and more. I bought the cutest sweater for under $8.

Great store with quality used furniture.  Look at everything, even outside.  Good deals on jewelry.  Go often because the items change often.  Movie set desuners/shoppers shop there often too!

Over priced collectables, even some of the box store items which we're on display, I felt we're over priced. Beautiful stuff but at SF prices.

Hit or miss as always but a few finds so far so visit here for sure. I think prices are high for furnishings, a lot of the same ole thing, but I have been surprised on occasion. Did bargain and got fair deal.

Nice large warehouse with lots of furniture to look through. Less classy than some places but has good consistent quality. Go upstairs for a wonderful clothing boutique. It's a real find.

Long story short: they damaged our consigned furniture and were mean to us when we pointed out the damage.

The detailed story:
The staff at Congeries were pleasant to work with when I consigned a TH Robsjohn Gibbings table and chair set. I dropped off our furniture under the impression it would be cared for and placed to sell on the showroom floor.

Now the story turns dark. After 3 months I ran into a friend who deals in antiquities. When I told him I had consigned a table and chairs to Congeries, he grimaced. "Have you looked at their contract?" He said. He warned me others have had a bad experience and to be careful.

So my wife went over there to check things out. Our table was in a back storage area jammed against a bunch of furniture. A table placed on top of our table, with the legs of the other table digging scratches into our table! (see photos attached) The chairs were pressed in so hard that impressions were permanently marked in the upholstery.

My wife complained the furniture was being damaged, and I called a store clerk to ask for the table to be moved and cared for. I received a call the next day that the owner was terminating our contract and we could come pick up our stuff.

The next week I went to pick up the chairs first. We had originally brought vinyl and felt pads with the set to protect the table top. I asked where they were. 2 of the 4 were handed to me completely damaged. I pointed out they were destroyed and the clerk stated there had been a flood in the back room. I asked if there is any compensation, like store credit and I was curtly told, "did you read your contract? We are not liable for any damage." No apology. No offer of anything to remedy the situation, just the vibe of "get your stuff and get out of here." Wow!

So I do a truck load of chairs and come back an hour later with my wife to load the table and it has been moved, and when it was moved it was jammed up against the corner of an other table, making a mark! Amazing! Were they trying to be mean to us? Incredible.

Will never do business with them again. If you have something of value, don't consign it to them.

I agree with several other "seller" posts. Tried consigning a beautiful rare set of Talavera collected from all over. Never sold anything. When I finally picked up all the items it wasn't until later unpacking that I realized a large valuable plate was missing. May have been stolen or broken but they never mentioned it. Not a good place for sellers. It is easy to find good reviews from buyers but they do not take the losses mentioned here.

No star (I had to give one star to be able to post this).

I did consignment here with my ex-partner. I put all MY STUFF in his name because we were moving to his home country, Australia and I did not have a bank account yet. She knew this. After we broke up, I contacted the owner, Shawn/Shaun to ask her to switch the account back to me because they were my things (family heirlooms) and she didn't. He continued to receive the money (I needed at the time because I was then stranded there). I know mine is a special case, but do not consign here. Woman who don't support women (esp. when they are in a really bad situation) should not be supported either.

Owner so very rude! Wont be back and will not refer either. If I could I wouldn't even give them the one star.

This place is disgusting. If you want someone who is gonna be shady with your money and your goods.. this is the perfect place to do business. All though  it won’t be open much longer because of the way the business owner Shawn chooses to run her business. :)  CONSIGN HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK. Make sure to ensure you call on the dot for your check or you will never get paid and Shawn will go to great lengths to ensure you don’t get paid.

The owner was one of the rudest people I've ever met. This store may be a find for buyers but for people who wish to consign something the store takes a ridiculous split of 55 per cent while the seller only gets 45. Even Ebay has better rate structures for the seller in a 60/70/80 per cent structure for every $50/100/200 sold. This place reduces prices drastically if your item doesn't sell within a short time frame, without giving you the option to pull the item. I say, as a seller, move on.
