Stephen's is a "must" stop for me whenever I'm in Santa Fe. The range and quality of items is unmatched. Whether I'm looking for a small or large piece, they have the most interesting selections, which can take an ordinary room and transform it into something very special with unexpected and unique elements.

People are very nice, and stayed open a bit late to help me load the dresser I bought. They have a wide selection of very good quality furniture. Definitely one of my favorites!

I’ve had a great experience with Stephen’s selling furniture before a move out of Santa Fe. The pieces included a large armoire and two large credenzas, as well as several antique Chinese pieces. Stephens managed to sell most of the items, sending me checks by mail in a timely manner. I didn’t want to deal with the chaos of an estate sale at the time of my move, so this proved an effective strategy for downsizing.

If you’re a collector of ANYTHING, GO!  If you have an appreciation for great design finds, GO!  If you are furnishing an apartment, a house, or even a hotel, GO!  Before you go anywhere else, go here because they have everything you want and a ton of things you didn’t know you wanted that you will be unable to live without once you discover them. The prices are reasonable, the staff is friendly and the service is devoted but not obtrusive.  I left with a lovely stone bust I can’t wait to make part of my home at a price I truly couldn’t refuse. A must for looky loos and shoppers alike. GO!

Full disclosure my aunt Kathleen works here occasionally.  I have been in many antique and consignment shops most of who specialize and after half an hour you are overwhelmed and bored , Stephen 's however has a diverse selection to say the least, a great variety and seems to be well priced.  It is worth walking around and poking into all the nooks and crannies because I guarantee you will find many interesting surprises.  Enjoy the discovery

Amazing shop with gorgeous authentic pieces. I bought a number of pieces of jewelry here and got fair prices with extremely friendly staff! Dominic is especially cool. Stopped in here on a whim while on my honeymoon. Everyone working there was so incredibly friendly and helpful! The collection here is amazing. There’s something there for everyone, truly. We found some antique postcards that were so cool! I got a gorgeous pair of turquoise and coral silver earrings as well. They have some of the coolest antiques I’ve ever seen. They also gave us a list of other places to check out there were equally cool.

These guys are great!  I consigned some artwork there, and then needed one piece back and they packaged it and mailed it to save me a 5 hour drive.  They went above and beyond and are always friendly and helpful.  Plus, the store is packed with great pieces of art, furniture, etc.!  It takes forever to get out of there because there are so many unique things to look at!

Best consignment shop I’ve ever been to. Their selection is incredible , the vibe in the store is unparalleled , and their pricing is more than reasonable. Got this beautiful Dali print and a couple other items that fit perfectly in my home. If you’re in the Santa Fe area you must stop by this incredible shop.

You’ll always find something that sparks joy whether it’s a plant holder, bed frame or a unique illustration. Stephen brings people unique pieces with flair in both form and function.

This is a treasure-hunters paradise!  Allow yourself plenty of time to explore the multiple rooms inside this shop.  Wisely, the staff has grouped similar items; for example, if you are looking for unique vintage wooden boxes, you will find them in one location.

The store is packed tight with items, so isles are narrow and circuitous.  You might need to ask a salesperson to move something so you can get close to what interests you.

Art of every style lines the walls of each room.  Rugs are on the floors, and don’t forget to look up at the light fixtures.  There is an enormous case of vintage silver and turquoise jewelry as well as a case of sterling silver flatware and serving pieces.

The staff is helpful, and, if they can’t answer questions, they will find answers somewhere.

I can’t say that you will find huge bargains in the store, but you might find just what you are looking for, and that is worth a lot.

If you are coming through Santa Fe, your visit is not complete without visiting this gallery. They even had this gorgeous New Mexican chest from the La Fonda downtown Santa Fe— what a treasure! The staff is knowledgeable and super helpful.

I had the good fortune to move to Santa Fe a few years ago. I came to town in my pick-up truck with few belongings and therefore would have to furnish my home from what was/is available in town.
A friend introduced me to a few spots of interest which included Stephen’s! Jackpot!! Over the last few years I’ve furnished my home with treasures, historical, cultural and practical found from their remarkable sales. The staff are professional and knowledgeable! Great place to shop, there’s always a little something for every taste level! Great place!!

I’ve known Stephen since he started in this business decades ago. He and his team are trustworthy pros who are deeply knowledgeable about antiques, art, furnishings, and collectibles. The main showroom is always full of interesting finds, and they run great estate sales. I appreciate their attention to safety during the COVID pandemic. I’ve enjoyed all my dealings with Stephen’s and their team over many years of buying and selling. Five stars - well deserved.

One of the rare times when a person has made a number of promises for his business to fulfill- and then keeps them all, and more.  I had high hopes for the estate sale we were about to have, and Steven exceeded those.  We were not present during the sale (a good idea), but the results in terms of number of items sold, amount received for the sale, and, most importantly, how little was left, were beyond our expectations.  I am not a person given to loosely mouthing superlatives.  Steven earned all five of those stars, and my gratitude as well.

After my father passed away my family called Stephen to set up an Estate Sale. He was very professional about the whole thing. His crew set up the tables for display, priced all the items, marketed the sale and ran the sale with no problems. He sold many of the items and took unsold items to his store for consignment. We not only made money but had no hassle with Stephens’ help. I highly recommend his Estate Sale service. He was a pleasure to work with.

After getting several recommendations for Stephens, I consigned some vintage, midCentury ranch oak furniture there last year. I really appreciated how quickly they arranged pickup from out of town.  It took them a year to sell it all, and I was amazed to see that they took the pickup fee out of the final sale instead of the first sale.  They treated us kindly, professionally, and respectfully.  Stop by this store!  It’s jam-packed with the most eclectic blend of furniture and art.  I will continue to recommend them highly!

So happy to see a business taking proper precautions during these COVID-19 days. This store seems super safe and it’s clear they are doing everything possible to make their customers comfortable leaving the house. They have hand sanitizer stations all over and very clever safety shields at the counters.

They also have amazing items! Their patio section is full of super stylish pieces and their other furniture is great! I’ve had my eye on a leather sofa that I’ll probably pickup soon.

They also have some of the best customer service in town. Very attentive but not hovering. Helpful without being pushy. I really appreciate the way the conduct themselves.

Stephen's Consignment Gallery was an awesome experience! The staff was totally helpful in every aspect! The store offers a wide variety of furniture ranging from Vintage, to Contemporary, Modern, Old Spanish, and Victorian. That's not all, southwest jewelry and vintage silverware sets! One of my favorite places in Santa Fe!  From furnishing my child's room many years ago, to refurnishing it more recently and replacing worn-out living room furniture, Stephen's is my go-to place for unique, well-crafted and interesting pieces--as well as unusual gifts (those fantastic old telephones! That strange wooden gargoyle!) But it is more than that. Stephen's staff is kind, helpful, extremely knowledgeable and go the extra mile to assist and inform visitors. Beyond that, on days when I simply need my creative batteries charged, a wander through Stephen's aisles will do that.

I generally visit Stephen's every time I get to Santa Fe.  Lots of interesting stuff there.  Found a couple of perfect club chairs and brought my husband back to see them.   They gave us a fair price and we took them home with us.  I also found a pastel painting by M.  Silverwood there.   They gave me a great price!  Much lower than the current gallery price and I hesitated.  Two days later the painting was gone.   So now, when I see it and I love it, I buy it!

What a gem of a place!   I was passing through Santa Fe when I stumbled into Stephen's. The owner (his name is...Stephen) was very knowledgeable and so warm and friendly.  I found the prices to be fair.  We had something in common...we both grew up in the same area of Massachusetts.  Had a few chuckles as we reminisced about places we both knew back home.  Small world.   If I lived in the area, I would have bought several items, as they were very unique.

Wish I had read the reviews before driving to this store. Although this store comes up when searching thrift stores in Santa Fe, it is far from a thrift shop. The items inside were nice, however, they were way outside our budget. Once we realized our mistake we attempted to exit. The narrow walkways, numerous breakable items, and dozens of customers made it very difficult. We will be sure to read reviews going forward.

I’m sorry to hear of the unfortunate lapse in customer service. Unfortunately, Stephen’s has been rocked in the last two weeks with two of our longtime team members both of whom were with us since the beginning, that’s 40 years, passing away. You can read about one in the news and the other will be honored next Sunday at the folk Art museum. I would ask you to please give us another opportunity as a number of things of slipped our minds in the last couple of weeks.

Went in prepared to buy some beautiful plant pots that had been outside for awhile. Showed 2 of the employees interest in purchasing 3 blue ones. They took my number down said we will call you back Monday with prices.  Not one of the pots were priced nor either employees willing to figure it out then and there. It's been 2 weeks and still no call with prices. Will never return or recommend. Was purchasing these to put outside medical office in santa fe as that was a project sent out for me by the medical office manager. Oh well thanks jackalope for great business.

I went in to look at what is offered.  I am an Hispanic woman.  The white female employee followed me closely around the store, never asking if I needed help. Instead she was monitoring my movements as if I was going to steal something.  It was very obvious. I felt uncomfortable, targeted and profiled.  I dont recommend this business.

I hesitate to even leave one star! Not a welcoming staff at all! I’ve followed them on insta for a while but no longer! Lots of overpriced CRAP! The best part was the dog, very sweet! Everything else can leave it!!!!
