They did a great job on restoring my couch cushion and my 2 dresser drawers. I highly recommend them. But I think it's better to bring the items to them to show them the issues instead of calling over the phone. There will be better clarity if they see the items that needs to be repaired in my opinion. Also, the pricing is good. I called another place and they wanted to charge me $225 just to fix a cushion. Daniel's charged $60.

Perfectly restored an old family chair, right down to the biscuiting. A proper local business.

I recently had four French Provincial chairs reupholstered by Daniel’s Custom Upholstery. I am so pleased with the results. Madge, who owns the business with her husband, helped me with measuring the fabric needed and selecting the appropriate fabric type. They picked up the chairs and delivered them upon completion. The chairs contained fabric attached to the seat bottoms in addition to the removable cushions and I was pleased that they matched the fabric repeats on both. The chairs were ready in no time. The workmanship was excellent. I highly recommend Daniel’s Upholstery!

The poor rating is due to the customer service with regards to the woman who is part owner and not in regards to the quality or timeliness of service. My mother and I stopped by with 2 of 3 sofa cushions that needed repair. We spoke to Daniel the owner and he was very pleasant. He gave us a quote for all 3 of our cushions that was affordable so we decided to leave one and bring the other 2 when we picked up the first. They replaced the cushion the same day and called to let us know it was ready. The following day we went to retrieve the first cushion and leave the other 2. Here is when things went wrong. Daniel was not there but his wife who is part owner was. She was extremely rude to my mother and I, and kept saying the price we agreed on the day prior was not accurate. I wasn’t sure if she remembered the conversation that took place even though she was sitting right there but she just kept disagreeing with us on what her husband, my mother, and myself agreed on. When I tried to refresh her memory on what took place the day prior she became loud and rude, at which point I told my mother to take the repaired cushion to the car while I carried the other 2. I asked if her husband would be giving us a call so we can discuss it with him and she dismissively replied yes. I said thank you, and walked out. The cushion we picked up was repaired to satisfaction and extremely fast, however, we will not be returning due to the nastiness we were subjected to. If I have any advice for this business owner Daniel it would be to keep your wife/part owner home because she is a nasty woman and causing you to lose customers and business. Thank you for your service but we won’t be doing any further business with you.

I team a recent review that implied that the female owner charged extra after her husband had given a fair price. Armed with this knowledge, I got a quote of $60 from the husband in the presence of his wife. He asked if I wanted new form and I told him just cover the cushion. He proceeded to show me the material he was going to use and we signed off on $60. Two days after the wife called me to let me know that the job was done so I went over to collect. When I got there neither the wife nor the husband was there so I informed the worker of our arrangement, collected my cushion and paid the $60. About 1 hour after the wife called me in a rude manner to inform me that the job wass $100. I told her I agreed to $60 in her presence and if there was an increase, she had my phone number why didn't she call to inform me. She was upset told me to never come there again and hung up. As stated by another reviewer, she should not be dealing with the public. My advice to anyone who still wants to use their service is to get your quotation in writing.
