This place is a true gem.  Very warm and welcoming with a lot of awesome stuff.  Will definitely make a trip from CT to visit again.

Definitely the place to visit when you are in the Bronx, take a trip out to City Island and experience a blast from the past!!!

239 Play has every toy from your Youth, including Baseball, Football and Basketball cards. They have Records here, they have everything else you could possibly want. A great place full of treasure.

I have a thing about collecting magnets wherever I go. This store has vintage everything but clothing. I loved it and I got the best vintage magnets I have ever seen. The woman at the counter was amazing and friendly. I will be back

So glad to have found this place! Such a huge variety of vintage and 2000s toys and memorabilia — I spent around an hour just looking around at it all and had some great finds. Wow very old toys in 1970s. Look like museum of history toys

They have stuff you forgot existed! You'll scream like a kid in a candy store when you stumble across your favorite forgotten wrestler action figure or the troll with the belly jewel you lost that on time. Carve out 30-60 minutes (at least) for a nostalgic treasure hunt in this little shop packed with memories.

This store is such a gem! I stopped by with my mom and brother and we were all able to find something we loved. I was able to find a cute troll doll that reminded me of my childhood. My brother found an amazing Star Wars Lego set from the 90s.  Definitely going to stop by again on our next visit to City Island.

If you  are a Baby Boomer you will live this back to the future past Vintage Store...Loved...

Great place to get vintage toys, figurines, comics, posters, etc. They even have vintage decor items and several original polaroid cameras that still work! Check it out!

A lovely little used toy shop with wonderful staff. Places like this make me glad to be in the Bronx because it is still New York for what it is. This should be on a list of things to do while going through the bronx

Awesome little flea-style toy store. It’s full of old kids toys from various past generations. The owner was friendly and informative, and prices were very reasonable.

Neat spot that you should not miss! There's a little something for everyone. Kitsch to the Nth degree! Star Wars, Ninja Turtles, WWF, and tons more...

You can find childhood treasures here. Prices vary. Some stuff very dusty. Have been here twice. Friendly staff.

Came here with my husband on Sunday and it was so nostalgic for us. It took me back to my childhood and I enjoyed walking all throughout the house. Dan was really nice and chills and made us feel comfortable.
