this place may seem huge and intimidating, but take a minute to take it all in! maybe you don’t know what you want and that’s OK – that’s exactly why you should look around. lots of clothes, tons of books, lots and lots of chairs and miscellaneous furniture (filing cabinets anyone?) I picked up $2.49 frames for pictures, and then I couldn’t resist picking up two books, that I really need to read: The Power Broker and my Brilliant Friend. cashier couldn’t have been funnier, she had me in stitches. Bring a portable fan as I did, and it’s worth the summer adventure and the trek. (by the way: it’s literally right next to Lowe’s, by the parking lot on the East side entrance (not the entrance closest to the subway.)

Owner Response

Thanks for the 5 star review and stopping by! It is a challenge to accept so many odds and ends and then keep them organized but we do our best! Debrina is one of the funniest people around! Good luck with Power Broker - I am still trying to finish it 15 years after I started.

Lots of great deals here. Sure you have to not be looking for a specific brand or color but you’re helping to reduce waste! This was my first time at the store so I took a walk around the whole store. There’s lot of cool stuff. A lot of it has never been used. I picked up 4 plates for $1.50 each. They looked like they have never been used and still had their original manufacture’s price tag ($4.99) on it. I will definitely be going back to Big Reuse again.

A little difficult to find- but isn’t that the nature of treasure? Cool stuff at low prices and great place to donate when you can’t bear getting rid of something cool and want to ensure it has a new home. Stopped by on a Sunday and it had great energy, lot of shoppers looking for deals and staff was busy stocking shelves with new finds. Left with a table I didn’t know I needed Great staff and a fun place to shop

Owner Response

Big Reuse is one of my favorite secondhand shops in Brooklyn. Prices are decent. I haven’t purchased furniture or lighting but they are STOCKED.

Owner Response

Thank you so much for the 5 star review and the positive feedback! As the biggest thrift store in the city - we are always pretty stocked!
