Wide variety of home goods, furniture and books. I find many unique items like the Chinese New Year serving box at the store. Prices are reasonable and support Habitat for Humanity.

Great furniture and household goods in great shape and extremely clean. The staff is fantastic. Friendly and helpful. The guys in the back went above and beyond assisting us in getting heavy, bulky furniture in our SUV.

We love exploring all of the neat things this store has to offer. The selection is always changing and the prices are great! They have a lot of high quality, gently used furniture and home goods as well as many materials and tools for home renovation.

Got a beautiful hand-mirror as a gift!! And also got our dinning room table here!! It was perfect. Definitely a cool place to check out. Fun to share with family and friends!

Great place! All merchandise is donated. The proceeds go to a great cause. We always find lots of good deals!!! Furniture, books, appliances, holiday decorations, artwork, kitchen items, etc.

This is a fun place to stop in to.  They have a lot of framed art work, nice collection of books, furniture, glassware and dishes. Also things like doors, lighting and other items for diy home improvement projects.   Everything is always very clean and well organized.  You never know what you might find.

The people who work here are AMAZING! Great finds every time we go. Habitat Restore is so much fun to visit. You never know what your "not" looking for that your gonna fall in love with! I always find items!

What a great experience we had when not really looking for anything special, but coming out with several special treasures.   The products are all donated, so there is always something different.  Stop by and check them out for some fun treasures and/or second hand items to help with your DYI project.

Good selection of records, furniture, fixtures, hardware. Fast turnover so there is new stuff each week. Friendly helpful staff. Good location. Clean. Wish it was open more days of the week.

Store very organized , managers and staff on the floor helpful , but the people who run the check out are always kinda rude talk to each other not customers.

I love this place. I always find something that I've been looking for for a while. I find if I wait long enough I can find whatever I'm looking for here. I found the best rolling or of a suitcase/ duffle bag. It was practically new. I have bought a couple chairs, some clothes, some dishes, you name it. I even found a book that I've been wanting to read.

Always fun to check out their new stock. Constantly getting new stuff in. Prices are a little higher than a thrift store, but you are paying for quality.

I was surprised by how big it was. There are 3 rooms down off a corridor with art onbthe walls, which I would have missed had I not been interested in the art. Employees I encountered were nice.

So organized and clean. Great quality of merchandise. Bigger than the one in Rochester and also has a better selection of items.

This was a unique find while on the antique trail. The store has captured both a re-store & antique shop. And someone on staff defiantly knows how to properly price artwork and possibly more! Our visit was very enjoyable.

The quality of used items is on average much better than the typical second hand shop. You can tell the items are carefully selected and junk is not common. There is a selection of items from small to large including furniture and appliances.

Who in the hell is pricing things at the canandaigua store? Vintage dresser/vanity all day every day u can find em for 125 to 200 bucks.they want $800..yes it cost to go get stuff ect... but let's come back to reality a little.. every thing is a little crazy. Stop being greedy. You would probably sell more

Imagine finding nice old things….that are adjusted for inflation and sold as if Brand-new…that’s the kind of prices you will expect to pay here

For being a place that gets stuff for free to sell to help habitat for humanity, they ask some crazy prices for some one the stuff there. Couch’s that are straight out of the 90s floral
Print 400 bucks for a used couch is insane. It is hit and miss on prices.

I used to love this place, but in the past few years (even pre-pandemic) they have been raising prices. For example, 1k$ for a well-loved sofa? I'll go down the street to one of the other 3 stores that sell furniture and get a new one.

This is a good place to come if you are looking for a cabinet or other used home good to fill that niche in your house. They also have a small selection of books, vynil and glassware.

Lacking the selection of building materials and tools that one expects in other H4H locations.  Perhaps Canandaigua just has more disposable income?  Very reasonable prices on other household goods, including a selection of cabinets and better quality furniture.  Staff are mostly friendly and reasonable, though a little less in touch with how the other half lives, lol.

They had a very big location with many different kinds of items for sale. It takes quite a while to peruse all the sections. The selection was impressive. Many items were outrageously overpriced, however, (particularly cheaply-made, ugly old furniture ) while others were surprisingly inexpensive. The place was rather disorganized and a couple of the people who appeared to be working there or helping out were not very friendly. Other staff were nice and professional. It was worth it overall, and I do plan to go back someday.

Crazy expensive! Daughter found a set of Russian nesting dolls just to have them taken away st the register and told they weren’t for sale…..like what!? I suspected that the lady at the register wanted them for herself. Soooo not professional at all.  The appliances are priced as if they are brand new ($500-$600).  Want a kitchen table and chairs….oh just $600. Used dresser $250, matching night stand $200. Some really nice things just not affordable at all.

Prices are really high for a thrift store they might try to justify it by associating themselves as giving back, but so doesn't AmVets, salvation army, Goodwill, etc... Also I've been to other habitat restores and they're no where near as high in price. The only ones they're helping are themselves.  Having this type of thrift store goes 2 ways. You help your community by giving back, and you help those that can't afford new prices obtain a item. The 2nd part they're failing to do.

I didn't much care for this store. They price their items as if they are new and feel justified in doing so because they use the funds to help build homes. If they lowered their prices they could be helping two sets of people and would likely sell more.

Boy this place sure has changed over the years. I used to frequent the Rochester New York locations looking for great deals. Those days are long gone. The stores in Canandaigua so be ready to pay Canandaigua prices. It may be just me, but I think $600 for a used washer and dryer at a restore is a little excessive.

No stars, I  remember when this donation and sell store first opened.  The prices are what you would have expected from a thrift type place.  They were low, and it was a fun place to look around and buy.  Over the last couple of years, it has become nothing but a money grabbing retail business.  All items are donated, and the prices are absolutely INSANE.  Do not go here if you think you are going to save money on donated items.

Used to love this store for thrifting but whoever’s in charge of pricing is dreaming. Beat up wood furniture for hundreds of dollars— in many cases more than buying new. I never buy books here because not only do they price them too high, but they put stickers on that ruins the books value.

I have always shopped second-hand stores and this one is terrible.  The prices are absolutely insane!!! They receive these items for free and sell them for more than if you bought new.  A guitar was $450 that retails for $300.  Habitat for humanity does not easily support people either. The intent is supposed to be to help people who cannot afford new and they are NOT doing that.  I will not shop here or support this business, and yes it is a business I don’t see charity happening here.  Many people agree it is outrageously priced and will stay away.  Better to go to Good Will…

I went the Restore in Canandaigua NY to donate a nice wooden table and a Mohogany head and foot board with wood rails. HA! I was told before I could it out of the bed of my truck that " OH we don't wood frames with metal. UMM WHAT? I am donating it.
Well I took the stuff right over to the Good Will Store and they had NO problem accepting it.
VERY snotty people at the Restore Canandaigua...I will NEVER take anything to those snobs again....Won't be long before they go out of business because of their attitude and very high prices.  Don't waste your time going in there.

Alot of stuff is priced high for being used.  Just like many used thrift stores they are price gouging. I would rather buy new. If these stores are  going to continue to over price there stuff than the hell with supporting them for free.

Prices in beginning were great . Now it’s ridiculous!!! Used tables for $500 plus like $20 for the chairs !!! I used to go every week . Now I cringe every time I look at the prices !! Honestly I can buy stuff new for cheaper than restore prices!!
