Great bargains + prices - they are non profit so sales money goes towards church running + charities they donate to. Take a lool

I’ve been coming to this thrift store for years. They have great stuff and they know it that’s why they price competitively. If you don’t like the prices, go somewhere else…..

Overpriced and greedy. If they think you really want the item they will up the price. The prices are inconsistent and change as you check out. This is not a charitable organization although they profess to be. If you want to really serve the community, be fair to those who shop with you as well as those you give to. Donations are given from the heart. You should price the items the same way.

terrible one of the ladies there is the rudest person i know , for a volunteer for a church she shouldn’t be working there at all she sees you coming and it says one price and once you get to the counter she changes the price to what ever she wants she probably pockets the money shame shame on her
Hi Joseph, We are truly sorry to hear about the negative experience you had at our Boutique yesterday. We strive to provide excellent customer service, and it's clear we fell short in this instance. We will be addressing this issue directly with the cashier involved to ensure a similar situation does not occur in the future. We value your business and hope you will give us another chance to provide you with the positive shopping experience you deserve. We would be delighted to welcome you back to the Boutique soon.

Very overpriced given that all items were donated in the first place. Things were priced more affordably about two years ago but the volunteer staff seem to have adopted a more capitalistic approach. Their mission seems to be making as much money as possible for the church rather than providing access to low-cost, secondhand wares in the midst of rising inflation and the cost of living for its community.

Unfortunately, this is hands-down one of the most overpriced church thrift shops I've visited (and I've been to my fair share of church and regular thrift stores across NYC and Long Island. There's simply no rhyme or reason to their pricing. Their head-spinning price guide is further complicated by the fact that these are STARTING prices (particularly on apparel and books). You'll only waste your time to be quoted double--or on one occasion triple the price--once you try to pay for the item at the counter because of some perceived value made up at that moment. It's clear that they can't move their inventory or maybe don't want to; there are boxes upon boxes of barely sorted donated goods shoved in every nook and cranny, causing inconvenience to and creating a safety hazard for patrons (I still come across items I first saw over 2 years ago). Common/run-of-the-mill items are secured behind glass cabinets and treated like they are the Hope Diamond. They seem to forget that all their merchandise have been donated and that the staff volunteer their time. I chuckled to myself when I overheard one of the staff once comment that they have the best prices around (hint: I've come across many thrifts where CDs and DVDs are priced at 10 cents per disc). Removing the word "bargain" would more appropriately reflect the philosophy of this shop as they try to eke out every cent from the community.
