Improved a lot over the last year- really a good place for Warhammer now, with a large selection, high participation league nights, and more. Excellent staff, especially Lilith and Andrew.

This place has really been a second home for me. I love the friendly staff & patrons who frequent this store, I've only ever had positive experiences here. Anthony the Pokemon TO really cares about his community and treats his players with only the upmost respect.

The space downstairs is really spacious especially compared to other card shops on Long Island. I also love that they consistently host a bunch of community events that I haven't seen done at other stores.

RE: the bribing reviews. No one paid me or asked me to write this. I just simply want to see the community grow and not be turned away by fake, negative reviews.

Amazing environment, I’ve never had so much fun this the first card shop I’ve been to and so far I now I have a better knowledge of Pokémon, Lorcana, even Magic a game I wanted to learn for years. All I have to say is continue staying Awesome.

I love the welcoming feeling when walking in, and they had everything you expect a gaming card place to have. Nicest and coolest people to talk to as well. I recommend whenever someone is starting out with card games.

Out of all the card shops I go to this one definitely has the best vibe. I’m always greeted when I walk in and everyone is super friendly. It’s Awesome they have casual play nights and the staff can teach you how to play to get you started. As for all their product they have tons of bulk to help build your decks as well as exclusive singles and their sealed product is never at crazy prices. 10/10 go to card shop

Went there for a peek to see what they have as my daughter enjoys anime. Found some good one piece cards for a reasonable price. They have an assortment of cards figures and games for all ages. The staff is very friendly as well would recommend it highly.

First and foremost I'm real just well spoken. Second, I was not bribed for writing this, and third the $10 charge is for competitions, which either gets divided up ($80 at stake tonight for instance) or goes to the top winner after some Swiss rounds (I'm speaking from Pokémon night).

They also just hosted a killer Bazaar and I got to get some real exclusives. I can't speak for resealed packs, but don't assume just because you didn't pull a full art that it's resealed. I'm pretty sure that's grounds for punishment in the business world, so it's not happening here.

As a new player to PTCG, I was a little nervous playing against experienced players, with my nephew being my only other competition. Walking in was very welcoming, and once things got started it felt like I'd been coming here for years. It's also really cool seeing so many other people playing other card games like Magic, Yu-Gi-Oh, D&D and Lorcana, all in their own respective spaces, free of judgement and amongst peers.
Being an "adult," there's not many "just come and hang out" places that aren't bars. This well stocked with the latest cards and releases store is exactly what the doctor ordered. 5 extra stars!! ★★★★★

Found this place on a whim when I started getting into a card game, hoping to learn from and play with others. It's given me a reason to socialize and something to look forward to almost every week. It has an open and accepting environment. Who we are and what we do doesn't make a difference; we're just a bunch of nerds who want to play games together. The staff has been awesome and pretty quick to recognize familiar faces so it feels like a welcoming and personable experience. Tony in particular has been fantastic when it comes to playing. When I started getting into Pokémon again he started teaching me, getting me familiar with the game again, offering suggestions how to build a deck, even going so far as to help build a deck. You can tell he loves what he does and just wants to share the game he enjoys with everyone.

My one critique would be that events can be a little haphazard at times. The fact that they are so casual there is awesome because it never feels like there's any pressure, they're understanding and flexible, and people just go there to have fun. There have just been some instances where an event would suddenly come up last minute or not have accurate information (time or price, primarily). But I will say, when anyone does have any questions about something the staff does try to get back to us as soon as possible.

I look forward to the nights when I'm available to go there and am so happy to have a local, friendly, accepting, and fun place to play my card games that I never had before.

I had a ton of fun playing lorcana for the first time during their casual night! I ended up joining the tournament which was a great experience! Everyone was so nice and helpful. Looking forward to joining again next week!

Great shop with a very friendly and knowledgable staff. The selection just keeps going and they’ve got a lot of older packs to grab. Always a fun night playing commander here, with great peeps and good vibes.

I know many reviews here are talking about how terrible the place is, but I personally have never experienced that. Whenever I’ve visited, staff have been incredibly helpful and kind, assisting in whatever I needed. Almost everyone was extremely friendly— me having had lengthy conversations with many of them over shared interests. Although I typically buy singles rather than packs, any packs I have bought (whether it be single boosters or sealed product) have had no signs of tampering, and I actually managed to pull some pretty nice cards from them: like a Mega Pidgeot full art from XY evolutions, for example. All cards I’ve purchased have (in my opinion) been reasonably priced and in pretty good condition.

I know the point of reviews is to judge a place before going there, but please know that all of these 1-star reviews do not speak for what you’re going to get at the store. If you want to be judgy, go there for yourself and see how amazing it is. Sending support to you after the break-in!

Very chill environment with lots of open space to settle down with friends and play! I'm new to TCGs and this place made me feel comfortable from the first time I've walked in. There's a real sense of community here too, can't wait to keep coming back :)

Very confused due to business having improper hours listed. Arrived at the store at 10pm and they were closed. Photos attached. Please update store hours to reflect actual hours. There were 2 store signs at the shop and on the door. Entrance is also located in the back of the building apparently. This makes it unclear for the average Joe to discover and explore this business. I love this place. Great atmosphere, great selection, the staff is very knowledgeable and helpful.
I’ve gone multiple times and picked up some great singles to add to my collection and always at reasonable prices.
They host plenty of events to cater to wide audience. Guaranteed to have something for everyone!

Pros: Lyla’s post for D&D on Facebook is what brought me in. Lyla’s friendly demeanor and welcoming attitude made me a retuning customer. The rest of the staff have been friendly too. The game room is comfortable and well lit! Bathrooms are clean and well stocked. They cater to all my nerdy needs, D&D, MTG, and Lorcana.

Cons: The only downside is the $10.00 charge to use the play space. They give $10.00 credit in return which is great. However, the money adds up if you go 3x a week like I try to. In addition, there is not much D&D inventory (minis, books, etc).

For convenience and selection this place is good for a casual tcg collector. But the scalper prices are ridiculous, even in the pokémon market’s current state, and after seeing other reviews it seems based on how much money they think they can get out of you. I recently bought a Pokemon ETB that’s priced on their website for 70 dollars, but i was told 80 by one of the employees when i went to purchase. Im not one to complain over 10 dollars, but after purchasing and turning to leave, I hear his coworker say “nice one” relating to him making the sale as if I didn’t know I was getting ripped. The product was legit, got some good pulls, but I was hoping for some honesty from the staff.

Was curious about pokemon packs from here but after seeing the ridiculous scalpers prices I believe I will shop elsewhere. It's such a shame that places like this are now starting to attempt taking advantage of people's hobbies to make THREE TIMES the amount of money the packs normally sell for. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Beware!!! Reselling sealed packs is super immoral but unfortunately I believe this store is doing so. I bought a paldean fates booster bundle and all of the packs had these subtle curved texture on the back and 5 uniform slits underneath the packs flap that leads me to believe this store is opening bundles and viewing contents of packs to evaluate which have pulls and which don’t.

You can see in the pictures what I’ve described, also the cardboard on the “factory sealed” booster box is worn which is confusing if it’s been sealed in plastic this entire time since production?

All in all- AVOID this place at all costs if you’re a collector. Perhaps still has value as a community meeting point.

Staff is unbelievably rude and unprofessional. Literally eavesdropped on my conversation with my fiance as I was shopping and began to argue with us. While coming to leave this review I saw several other reviews that stated they purchase 5 star reviews, which is no surprise to me at all. They have to offset genuine, bad reviews somehow.

I used to love this store, unfortunately the new vendor or owner has too much of an ego. He single handedly ruined many communities in the area. Runs events very poorly and overcharges more on singles and sealed product. I wish this store was able to go back to those glory days I would be surprised if the store could keep enough business  to stay open through he next year

The new owners of the store have ruined everything that was once an awesome place to go to. You just bought some product and want to sit at their tables and play with a friend? Cough up $10 a person. Want to enter a tournament? The entry fee has doubled. But as the community tried to voice their opinion about their negative experiences the owners decided to double down and gaslight the community and then play victim. Every negative review and opinion has been shot down by the owners and labeled as “an organized attack by a group of former employees and their friends.” But they know this simply isnt true which is why they are bribing people with product to leave 5 star reviews to create an illusion that they are doing a good job. Dont believe me? Go to the store yourself and look at the overpriced products and money hungry greedy policies that are implemented here.

We purchased two tins that were Sun&Moon and Sword&Shield era, copyrighted in 2021. When we opened them, it was obvious that they were resealed. The packs inside both tins were Scarlet Violet, a set that came out years after the tin's release. In the Vaporeon tin, there were several tears in the internal packaging as seen in the photo. We opened the packs in one tin and left the other ones sealed, only getting one refunded in store credit for the one. They refused to do anything with the opened tin -- suggested we come another day and that the owner was concerned about their bottom line. According to the reviews, we're not the only people who've experienced purchasing resealed products. We purchased a couple XY: Evolutions packs a while back, which were also resealed (had glue and heat residue on them, cards out of order) although we unfortunately don't have pictures so you'll have to take us on our word. Sucks because the people who work here are generally sweet and knowledgable.

TL:DR
Avoid Collectors if you're planning on buying sealed product. I paid the price spending $25 on a 2021 tin that contained four Scarlet Violet packs with no refund.

Imagine being a customer that’s actively speaking out against how terrible a once great store has become, only to be hit with a bot reply of “this is a coordinated attack”.

Is it hard to listen to your customers without adopting a victim mentality? The store is but a shell of what it used to be.

Every recent 5 star review was due to the store bribing people with packs of cards to leave a good review.

This store pushes people from other communities out and also aggressively tries to destroy the communities at other stores.

They over price, scam, make up on the fly rules like credit suddenly expiring, make asinine charges like $10 to go downstairs. The owners actively had a weed shop raided and shut down, only to steal that stores contacts, text blast them on several different numbers, and then proceed to try with their hand in an illegal drug business.

This is a horrible and very shady business.

Again this is not some big coordinated attack, but people actively upset about the way a once beloved store is now operating
