I have had nothing but great experiences with John! He has fair prices and very honest. We bought salt and pepper cellars with tiny silver spoons,a beautiful nude, crystal glasses and more. I miss him since he moved from the UWS!

John’s Antique Shop is a true New York City gem - the kind of magical place that is near impossible to find nowadays, and we are blessed to have it on the upper west side. I have frequented John’s for the last five years as part of my weekend routine, and even used the shop as the setting for the first date with my girlfriend (I’m pretty sure it was her experience at John’s that sold her on me ; ) John himself is the kind of proprietor that makes you feel not only welcomed, but connected to a community that he loves. Always friendly and helpful, John is in his element and doing what he loves. If you have a question about antiques, furniture, art work, movies, the man is an encyclopedia of knowledge. Please help to support local small businesses and visit John at his shop. If you’re from out of town (or if you live in the city), and are looking for an authentic NYC experience, do yourself a favor: visit John’s antique shop!
