I own two vintage end tables from the late 1940s – early 1950s that are beautifully designed, but were finished with a dark mahogany. Upon removing the dark red mahogany finish I discovered a light, nicely grained wood. Realizing that I don't possess the skill or experience necessary to refinish them, I met with Scott Doyle. Scott shared my appreciation and vision for these two end tables. He willing spent all the time necessary, so that I could convey my hopes and expectations for updating the look of these tables. During the process we met several times to work through different ideas. In the end, Scott got it exactly right, he captured what I had envisioned in my mind’s eye. I no longer have two outdated end tables, but two gorgeous tables that highlight the wood’s natural grain with a light amber sheen / finish. It was a pleasure working with Scott. I highly recommend Scott’s craftsmanship, attention to detail and friendly customer service.
