Now located up the street in The Vegan Center. Take time to treasure hunt. The prices are negotiable. People donate items that they have no idea how valuable they might be. Many unique, one of a kind treasures & antiques. Roll up your sleeves and take a few hours to hunt for that perfect item(s). You never know what treasure you might find. A little bit of everything.

Seriously sad to see the place has been seized. Sure NT's municipal gov made Webster St prettier but this feels like another indicator it wasn't something done for the people of the immediate area. Hours were odd and I didnt get to spend anywhere near as much time in there as I would have liked to. The people complaining about clutter and price feel like theyve never been in an antique store before though. Ive seen better organized and priced but seen far worse and rarely had staff work or be willing to barter with me as much as the "scary grandmas" here did. I was kind and communicative with them, they were kind and communicative with me. I dont see this closure as a failure of the staff or owner(s) but more so a result of gentrification and online market places ruining thrifting. Ive been shopping here a lot longer than I have lived in the area and there were no issues with what you could find before you had to compete with people reselling on places like Ebay and Depop, still found plenty of cool stuff after. The Old Chapel is cool but will never be an adequate replacement.
