Baker's Estate Sale Liquidator

Baker’s sells STOLEN products! They sell unsafe and dangerous items!! Last week I brought my two bicycles to Sayville Bikeworks for repair work and estimates. The owner, Jeff, was honest and advised me that they were not worth repairing because they were too old, rusted and unsafe. He said that if I left them at the curb for garage pickup that I was putting someone at risk who might consider taking them. He offered to put them out with his own trashed stuff. Today I drove past Bakers to look at the many bikes they had out front for purchase and rentals. My TREK was among them!! I spoke with the guy there and told him this was my bike, and that it was unsafe . And he didn’t care and told me he got it from Sayville Bikeworks. I called Sayville Bikeworks and was told this same guy takes/steals their refuse all the time! He picks up their junk to resell! I’ve lived in Oakdale over 30 years, and Baker’s Estate Antiques is an eyesore and a blemish on the community. And they SELL STOLEN GOODS that are dangerous and unsafe to the public. I wish the Town of Islip would issue a summons to close this business. “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure” perhaps, but this is STOLEN goods. Is this really the kind of business we want in Oakdale?????
