Every visit to Oneonta, I stop at Silks & Treasures. Nearly 3/4 of my professional wardrobe is from there! Love combing the racks for awesome finds!

Love shopping here!  The clothing quality is good and the prices are reasonable.  Great album and book selections and nice selection of housewares that is constantly turning over!

Nice place, a lot of items and organized well. A little pricey than I'm used to but that seems to be the norm for the area. Would return.

Fabulous consignment shop with easy parking just off Main St. Great selection of good quality clothing. Prices are on the high side, but they are always running 50 % off sales. Careful shopping equals fantastic values.

I got a barely used air fryer for $25. I know everything isn't cheap there, but the clothes are better than the Salvation Army . And the staff is very friendly and helpful.

This is absolutely my favorite thrift store for clothing Etc. They may be a little pricier than some of the cheap ones but they carefully examine everything so you're not buying ripped and damaged things. I make this a regular stop and think the owner has done an absolutely amazing job.

Love this place. We have an account here and bring in clothes whenever possible. They have a great selection of everything from DVDs to shoes and everything in between.

The quaint local consignment shop /thrift store. You can find just about anything from kitchen materials, clothing toys, books, movies, jewelry. Plenty of space to walk between and look on all the different shelving units as well as clothes hung on rails. You always have to look from the ground up to the ceiling otherwise you might a hidden jem or maybe a limited item. Prices of reasonable. The staff is always diligent as well as pleasant to talk with. Located up the road from formally Mama Nina's now Nina's as well as across from the Lord's table area.

Most of the time great selections. Couple of times found holes in the armpit and was bummed because no returns. They are a great bunch of ladies though and very friendly most of the time. No one's perfect! Great hidden treasures and I love getting name brands at a good price most of the time

Since moving to Oneonta, I’ve been to the store a few times and I’ve found some amazing pieces. Like any other consignment store, it can be hit or miss, but that’s what makes it fun! Although some of the items can be a little more expensive than I would like, I’ve bought some new with tags items from amazing brands with great qualities and they are some of my favorite items in my closet. They also do discounts on items after a certain amount of time if the item doesn’t sell, so keep a look out for tags with an older date - they could be 50% off! I got a brand new LLBean dress for 50% off because it hadn’t sold in the appropriate time!

Lots of stuff but disorganized and messy.

Store is clean and staff is nice.  Huge selection.  Note: these are consignment prices not thrift but the quality makes up for the slightly higher than thrift prices.

Overpriced but it makes sense given that they are a corner store near downtown. It's worth stopping in if you're in the neighborhood. I picked up a hand vacuum for pet hair for $16. If I bought it cheaper on eBay shipping would make up the difference so at least I feel like I'm supporting a local store.

I always liked this store, but had unpleasant encounter today concerning unpleasant staff.
At the counter checking out, I decided not to buy one item I had, the sales lady told me to put it back! Really??
I would think this would be HER job, isn’t that what she gets paid for? I could understand if they were really busy, but there was only one other customer in the store, not at the checkout counter.
I guess customer appreciation isn’t important.
Maybe this employee needs some classes on personality and good public relations!

A little pricey for used goods. While I understand the need for higher prices with consigned goods vs thrift shop goods, I guess the Main Street location rent must determine the higher prices in this store.

Nice stuff, but the prices are lousy. As a rule of thumb, you can assume everything costs at least as much as when it was new. Great for people who like thrift shops but prefer antique store prices.

Clean store but whoever priced their items need to do homework. A little tips for you: check actual sold price items on eBay, not what they are asking for, and minus at least 30% off. $25 for an used Gap dress? $30 for a Corningware blue cornflower casserole? Thrifting is getting out of hands.

This place is very sketchy they will tell you they didn't sell anything you brought but then why can't I find it in the store? Not to mention that they are very pricey for be used items.

I used to love visiting this store with my grandmother and I used to buy tons of books here as a teenager. However on March 22 2025 I visited this store with my 1 year old daughter and had a really disappointing experience unfortunately:( On the door, the store has a sign to leave bags at the register. I complied and left my daughter’s diaper bag at the register.  She currently has a cast from her chest down to her ankles, and has to be pushed in a large sized stroller. While walking around the store, I went around one of the corners and accidentally knocked over a picture in a frame that was on the floor. Although it didn’t break, it was still obvious that the employee at the counter was extremely irritated from a simple mistake. I apologized and was still shopping, but was also really aware of the fact that employees were continuously looking under my daughter’s stroller to see if I had been shoplifting and making it very obvious. I completely understand wanting to deter shoplifting from a small business, but I had complied with the rules posted on the door from the time I walked in. There were also customers in the store who had large bags that hadn’t been handed in who weren’t receiving the same treatment I was. I was still looking around, and the woman at the counter asked if I was ready for my bag back in kind of a pushy way, to which I accepted and then she told me to have a nice day and walked away. It kind of made it seem like she was telling me to leave the store without directly telling me to leave the store. I have worked retail and like I said, completely understand the importance of deterring shoplifting. But people should be able to shop without being treated poorly, especially after complying with posted rules or making a small mistake. I go everywhere with her and her stroller and have never been treated in such a condescending way.

Dropped of two bags. The more expensive leather one was “donated” while the other one still sIts on the shelf The money I made from any other items was a joke. I don’t trust this business and have done much better on Poshmark. I won’t sell or shop there again.

Way overpriced staff are pushy unfriendly worst time I've spent in a store in my life way overpriced for used stuff! I find the same stuff online new for the same price
