Jeff was a very approachable person very nice to talk to. I’m glad I chose his pawnshop was on my way to Disney and needed extra money and he came through so yes, I would recommend him to anyone that’s looking for a little extra cash.

Jeff is friendly, knowledgeable, and very generous. His loan was double what was offered at another location for the same item, with a better interest rate as well.

I worked with jeff, Good Gentlemen... treated me like a gentleman had a little conversation about growing up. Gave good price for all my jewelry weighed it and did all proper protocols

5 stars. Would totally recommend. In fact, It’s the only place I would recommend. Money was tight during Covid and instead of taking advantage of my desperation they gave me a loan for the amount that I needed. The 4 other places I went to offered me nothing close to what I got from capital. Not only that, I got an extension on the loan and they waived me the late fee for me when I finally was able to pick my item up. That one interaction has but my loyalty I will never go anywhere else and multiple members of my family have become loyal customers of theirs now too

Hands down the best pawn shop in NY. I tried a few other local pawn shops over the years  and nobody will ever offer you as much as Jeff will. On top of that he has an amazing personality and always makes you feel welcome ( like your part of the family).

A great place to turn your stuff into money

After researching pawn shops in my area, I decidedly came to Capital Pawn Brokers to have some jewelry appraised based on their positive and trustworthy reviews. The owner, Jeff, was friendly and knowledgeable. I felt very comfortable and was satisfied with the appraisal outcome. I have recommended this shop to other family/friends and have also been back to do business with them again.

I came to Capital Pawn to sell some jewelry I no longer used after a bad experience at Bellerose Pawn. He gave me top dollar and a fair price for all my jewelry and he was extremely thorough and transparent with how much he was giving me.  I loved my experience here at capital pawn, Jeff was a doll and I will be coming back here. so will all my friends and family.

What a little hidden goldmine! Could not believe all of the great merchandise in this store. Customer service was great. I was helped right away and all my questions were answered, the attendant knew what he was talking about and I felt comfortable I was given the right information.

Best prices in town! The staff is so friendly and the owner is extremely helpful and easy to work with. When my grandfather passed, I found several different antiques and jewelry in the house. The owner took the time to go through it all and explain why each item was worth what it was. I also ended up finding a beautiful necklace for my mother for the holidays.  I am absolutely a repeat customer and would never go anywhere else!! Highly recommend!

Highest prices paid after I compared to competition.

Came in with two rings, found out I got low balled with one of the two rings an antique. Thank God I took a picture and was told I could have got double what I got or else I would have sold my second one to him. So I  decided not to sell the second one to him, went to Gem jewelers and got double what he offered. Second time around I came in with a few antiques just to get an evaluation, some real nice stuff. He put on this smirk, barely looked at them before turning me down. Pretty unprofessional if you as me. Needless to say the owner isn't exactly my cup of tea. If your looking to pawn something go to gem jewelers they look after you and sometime up what they offer if you ask just to help you out. I find it very important for a business to have my best interest at heart not just the price of gold. Specially someone like me who has stuff laying around and become a loyal customer to any such business.
