Aaron’s Alley was an awesome find in ROC, my kids and I bought 12 items (socks, pants, 2 little sculpture spirit animals and 8 rings) I love crystals and discovering cool places to visit. It is a chill environment, we stayed a while checking out all the items. Lots of cool vintage finds. They kindly let me leave my zines to share with others and they support local artists. Helpful staff and will definitely come back next time we visit 😊

This place is hippie heaven! So much tie dye and incense, eclectic assortment of clothing. The owner is very warm and friendly, a must visit in Rochester

Shopped here last year for a prom dress so came back for a homecoming dress. Went out of their way to go to the basement and grab a couple of bags of clothes they thought might have some things we'd like when the stock on the racks didn't yield any winners for us. Fortunately the basement bags turned up a couple of winners so we left happy and will definitely be back for more - more clothing, more incense, more rings, more fun!

This is my absolute favorite place to shop in Rochester. My family and I have made it a routine to stop in every time we’re in the city for dinner or coffee. It is honestly such an amazing environment. Filled with amazing, vibes, good music, and interesting selections. Jen, Pumpkin, Aaron’s son, and Luna have such wonderful conversation skills and every employee here is so kind, so helpful, and carry such amazing energy. Shopping here is truly an experience and it always uplifts my spirits. I will miss this place when I move out of Rochester. 10/10 recommend! This is the place to go for all your hippie dippie spiritual needs. Much love.

This place is the best. Been going ever since I came across it after moving into park Ave around three Years ago. Friendly staff, great products, and just an all around chill vibe to the place. I go at least once a week to get a shirt or some incense.

Needed a bronze item for my 19th year wedding anniversary. We decided to have a twenty dollar limit for the gift. This was fun but difficult at the same time since usually twenty won't cover much. I found a beautiful bronze ring and it fit perfectly inside a carved wooden incense burner., That I decided would be the "wrapping paper". The staff was very friendly and helpful. They even looked up the manufacturer of the ring to make sure it definitely was bronze. Thank you and I will be back when my spending is above 20. Lol.

You can shop for jewelry, minerals, vintage and modern cloths, accessories, candles, tarot cards, ponchos, Mexican blankets..... and even a special place to leave a coin to help you find something you lost! If you have time and find yourself on Monroe Ave definitely stop in and trade a smile with there super friendly staff!

Absolutely adore Aaron's Alley, I've only been there twice. Only being that I live so far away, otherwise I'd visit more frequently. This time I had found an amazing reversible paisley hat, made of 100% recycled materials. By a company called Gypsy Rose. Also came across a $25 mystery bag which included many random small items from the store. They have an abundance of things from jewelry and clothes, to crystals and incense. Recommend to everyone and anyone.

Nicest people on the planet, and some of the coolest Knick knacks. From handmade clothing, so vintage footwear and hats, Aaron’s has it all (at a steep discount compared to standard retailers). Stop on by and check it out! Love this legacy shop - feels like I’m going back in time to an age where peace and love were all that mattered.

Aaron's Alley has better quality merchandise and if they don't have something they can probably get it for you. Everytime I visit I Know I'll leave with a smile because the people that work there just have amazing energy

I've been shopping here since the very early 90's. Since then, no matter what kind of day I've had, I always love leaving feeling great and never empty handed. Everyone who visits from 1st time shoppers to regulars like myself, are always greeted like a long time friend by every employee. It's always been this way and always will.

I love this store! If you're looking for vintage clothing, anything Greatful Dead, bucket hats, wire wrapped gemstone jewlrey, crystal skulls, herem pants, intense, gemstones, tapestries, sterling silver rings, "punk" patches, and incent holders this is your place! If anyone touring Rochester is looking for stores to check out, I highly recommend this one. Pumpkin is a super cool dude and so is the owner.

Whenever I come into Aaron’s I feel so welcomed by the staff. My friend and I have been coming for here for multiple months and I honestly get excited to come back every time. I wouldn’t recommend any other place to shop for crystal/band merch/incense/etc needs.

This place is awesome! There's cool clothes, both new and used (leather jackets, jeans, and tie-dye shirts galore), crystals, jewelry, incense, and other neat trinkets.

I love their sweet smelling incense, and have been buying them for a few years.

Aaron’s Alley is the “hippiest” place on earth! We love to come almost weekly at this point. From tapestries, hemp hoodies, and groovy tie dye t-shirts, to an impressive array of Grateful Dead merch & goodies, this place has you covered. Incense, bumper stickers, rad sunglasses and more! Their social media is poppin’ as well; they alert customers when certain items return, like moldavite! I love coming in even just to browse, although if I coukd I would buy the entire store out. I love to see their smiling and cheerful characters shine! As long as we’re in Roc, we’ll remain loyal customers. Great place!

This shop is great for boho and vintage clothes and accessories at very reasonable prices.  Plus, the store owner is so kind and accommodating!  When she didn't have a purse in the color I wanted in stock, she took my number and texted me when her next shipment arrived.

The people here are super awesome and some of the nicest people I've encountered. This store has all sorts of cool stuff and it'd definitely recommend checking this place out.

I have shopped here before I bought winter wool gloves, grateful dead patches,  a grateful dead winter hat. I love Aarons Alley and the people that work there are very nice and helpful.

Jen was great. I came in to ask about Montage music hall and she got ahold of the gentle men for me. The store is so clean and filled with so many different items. I love the fact they have so much deadhead stuff. Prices are so good. I absolutely loved my first experience there. When I'm back in Rochester I will stop by again and purchase items because you can't beat there prices.

Aaron's alley is a hip little place. If you like unique trinkets or eccentric statement pieces, this is the store for you. The workers who were in the store when we visited were extremely kind and very informative.

Aaron's alley is a nice little gift shop located right on Monroe Ave in the city of Rochester New York. they have all sorts of tie-dye and grateful Dead type merchandise, and also sell concert tickets to the smaller venues around town. This is a fun store to go in and poke around for a perfect gift for your hippie type friends.

This place is a treasure.  Everyone is so friendly and I always seem to score something rare and cool in their 2nd hand rack (for a steal).  Whenever I go to grab a gift for someone I usually leave with an armload of stuff.  Shopping local is where it's at....

Great hippy store! Their products are great but what makes it 5 stars is the people who work there. They are so friendly and helpful. Best place in Rochester for all your hippy needs.

This shop has its doors wide open to all. Whether you are an avid incense burner, a wiccan, a lover of ty-dye, or even just a lover of crystals. I personally go there as much as I can. There is parking in back, which is great for city parking.
I just bought my 3rd tapestry from there. Which the owner helped me cash out, she is kind and caring.
I will be definitely suggesting it to every friend of mine.

Fun, exciting store. Clothes, jewelry, incense, keep sakes, tapestries etc etc... A must for any hippies, fans of classic rock and roll, jam bands, reggae, The Grateful Dead, or Crystal collecting. Awesome little shop within a shop called Yar's Gem's or something along those lines, phenomenal selection of crystals and semiprecious stones/gems for sale. Cool place to gift shop or window shop..

Im new to Rochester this was the first little goldmine I found!! I LOVE IT HERE and the employees are friendly too. Overall it has a great energy there and great prices!

Sub-culture vibes in this family owned, family friendly boutique. A great place to explore on a leisurely afternoon. They have tons of comfy boho clothing options along with one of a kind artistic home decor pieces, incense and tapestries. Fun!

Nothing but energy here. It reminds me of my childhood I've always loved going in and seeing the art and free style clothing. This is a place you can be and even find yourself if you are grateful for the love around you. Go in and explore and meet the beautiful women always there to help.

Pretty great store, especially great for the hippies in your life. Good quality clothing, cool pins, and a large variety of incense. My only qualms are that some of their knick knacks are not the best quality and sometimes their customer service can be lacking. Nevertheless definitely a place to hit up whether you're a local, or just passing through.

I’ve always been a curvy girl and I was hoping to find something fun to add to my closet and during my shopping experience I was made to feel very uncomfortable about my body by the ladies in the store, I’m so hurt right now.

Incredibly rude staff, roach problems, clothes are bought from china and retagged as their own, I could go on, and whoever the older woman that works with jewelry is NEEDS to be fired, I’ll never come here again, I have charges on my card for $800+ from this establishment but every time I call they say it’s not their problem, I WILL NOT BE BACK! 👎👎👎

I could not be more dissatisfied with the commentary I saw on the news today from this establishment. I have been coming to the alley since before Aaron passed, but my family and friends will no longer be supporting your store. I couldn’t be more disappointed in the way you spoke about people. Shame on you.

Also when I was 16 years old the owner's wife Jen, currently the owner, accused me of stealing hair dye in front of the whole store full of Christmas shoppers. It was completely embarrassing and hurt my feelings. I definitely didn't steal the hair dye she accuse me of.
