Stopped in half an hour before closing to get a coin I had found checked out. Had a great conversation with an extremely knowledgeable gentleman until close. You can tell he is extremely passionate about numismatics and knows what he's talking about about. I definitely plan on going back with more time to spare to view their extensive selection. These guys care about cool coins. Even though the one I brought in was only sort of cool, he was extremely respectful when handling it.

The owner Doug is extremely knowledgeable and professional. I had brought some gold coins in and he gave a very fair valuation. I highly recommend this business!

Just visited Brighton Tokens & Coins for the first time and had a wonderful experience! They have an absolutely beautiful assortment of not only US currency and coins but a very large selection of foreign coinage as well. The gentleman working was very nice and extremely knowledgeable when it comes to coins and you can tell he truly enjoys what he does and for a fellow collector it's always fun to chat with somebody else who enjoys the same passion. I have visited a number of coin shops in the Rochester area and I was definitely very impressed and look forward to going back and doing more business with them!

I haven't seen Doug at shows or his store since this Covid ordeal started. Doug is a great guy and knows the coin business as well as anyone I've ever met . I look forward to seeing Doug and shopping at his booth at shows in the future.

I have used Brighton Tokens & Coins twice now for selling coins for an estate. Doug and Randy were a pleasure to work with. They are knowledgeable, experienced and professional. On my last visit, I was the first appointment of the day, and I appreciated the privacy and security that appointments provided me. I highly recommend this business.

Writing my first review it's very fitting that it be for such a good business. I've been there twice (and reading other reviews made me realize how nice they are there. I never thought to call for an appointment but after meeting Doug at the door Randy gave him the ok to let me in) and bought supplies for my coin collection. Along with that I received such good information and advice that Ill not ever look elsewhere. I'm thinking of making some investments for my son's and grandsons future and now feel confident that my choices are great ones. You need not hesitate to frequent the coin shop. You'll be happy you did.

I had some old coins and paper money that my dad had collected during WWII and after. He’s been gone for 28 years now, and I still had these things because I just didn’t know what to do with them. I was afraid of getting ripped off, as I know nothing about coins. I finally made up my mind to do something, and went on my area’s Facebook group to ask for recommendations. I got quite a few, and Brighton Tokens & Coin came up a lot. I made an appointment, which was great as it was during the pandemic, and the owner could not have been more knowledgeable or helpful. He explained why things were worth what they were, and why other things weren’t worth so much. Lots of interesting background on coins, and I felt very confident that I was getting a fair and honest appraisal of what I had. In the end I sold a bunch of the coins and money to him, getting an amount I was extremely pleased with. Everything was listed on the receipt, and I felt very pleased that I had finally gotten them out of my house. It was a great experience. I would highly recommend Brighton Tokens & Coin for any business you might have regarding coins, or if you’re interested in coins and collecting.
