I am a shopper and vendor at the Charlotte flea market and can't say enough good about how Andrew works the place.  There's all kinds of variety, prices are very reasonable in today's times, and Andrew goes out of his way to help you with anything you need or want.

Don't know who made the comment about the smell of smoke and all that that must have been from a very long time ago before Andrew owned the store you walk in now and you smell incense and candles and the new owner has taken charge of any unpleasant odorous situations.  I've been very happy shopping there and don't experience anything bad in the way of smoke or any type of stink.  Nice place to get a lot of different things and I especially like that they have things for the home like hairspray and toothpaste.

Friendly staff, amazing prices. Incense are so cheap here, they have awesome glasswork, crystals and stones galore and also lots of hidden treasures as well. Smells good as soon as you walk in. Definitely will be back can’t wait to see what other goodies they have come in!

Every day they get new stuff in from different vendors. You can find everything from clothes to beauty supplies to games to wigs something for everyone. Go check them out. Because I do on a weekly basis.

This little quiet place is a treasure trove of goodness,surprises and lots of great stuff. A must see.

This is a great place to find deals and to look around. Their is no exact order for items due to them renting to individual vendors and then the vendors bring in their own stock of items to sell. I love the variety and the excitement of finding something awesome when you don't expect to.

I absolutely love the Charlotte flea market because when my community advocate Joel Humphrey takes me to the store I get to meet new people and talk to my friends that works there and hang out with them for awhile. I also love buying movie from there. Joel has a lot of great stuff that he sells like perfumes, makeup, etc... He's a wonderful worker and likes to help the customers that come to buy things from him. Also my friend Marian who works there is another great worker and helper. Me, Joel, and Marian have known each other for about 4 years. I forgot the other lady's name that also works there but she's very, very nice and I have spoken to her a couple of times.

Very nice people. It's like a super big garage sale. I bought two NES games and the guy there repairs the system.

Wow! I shop at Charlotte Flea Market and the people bend over backwards for me! I just plain don't believe the volunteers gave you the run around for two weeks as to a time you could pick up your furniture -- no way, no how -- they're open seven days a week! All you have to do it show up with a vehicle and load your purchase! Every flea market I know of is cash and carry -- mind you, YOU have to do the carry as well as the cash! Flea markets don't deliver. Flea Markets, Rochester's Public Market, and several retail stores I know of don't have return policies either - that's what the words means when it says "all sales are final". And frankly, the stuff they sell can’t all be crap, as YOU found a piece of furniture for your home office to buy. It must have been what you wanted at a good price -- or you, being a superior shopper would not have made the purchase in the first place and put up with such a shady deal?

When you purchased your piece of furniture, they must have given you a piece of paper that said "paid" or "balance owed"? That's your receipt! YOU don’t write like your dim-witted, so why would you walked out of a store without any proof you actually purchased a piece of furniture? And if you did and they are as shady as you say, why would they allow you to pick up and leave the store with the item when you have no proof you bought it? Or is it more a case of sour grapes because you owed a balance and they won't let you pick it up until you finished paying for it?

If you needed more then this receipt, just ask before making your purchase and of course, don't change your mind about the deal you made with them in the first place! It would be like buying a bed and dresser set, then changing your mind on the day you are suppose to pick it up, because now you only want the dresser. If "all sales are final" with a receipt to prove it- they could and should hold you to it, instead of being nice, splitting the set for the customer and refunding a portion of their money! But they do nice things like this for customers all the time, Even when they don’t deserve it. I know, I’ve seen them work with the most outrageous, whinny, and rude customers possible!

I think the Charlotte Flea Market is a really nice place. It offers a wide variety of merchandise at really good prices, is clean and orderly as flea markets go, is staffed with pleasant people who care enough to volunteer their time!

Been shopping there for years .They new knives and woman's lingerie prices far below other stores. Volunteers manage the counter. Pretty friendly unless you give then a hard time. It's clean and friendly. Give it a go

I love this place because I think it's not too many places like this around in Rochester. The prices are great and the staff is very helpful. I look for unique  things and this is the place to find them.

I really like going to this flea market however I don't care for how certain ones of the store owners kinda like follow me around in the store as though I am going to steal something, I have been going to this flea market for years (until I moved out of state in 2013 and we just moved back to Rochester in September of this year) even before we moved out of state certain ones of the store owners use to follow me around in the store, I said all that to say this, I have NEVER stolen anything from their store and God willing I don't intend to, I pray that it's not because I am an African American, so store owners please don't treat me as a suspect because I would like to come to your store and shop like the other customers"feeling welcomed" Thank you for your cooperation in advance. My husband and I enjoyed going to this flea market today. It was great and They had very nice things. Some used and some brand new.

Not a bad little flea mkt. Open all year. The usual high priced used dvds and tools with questionable longevity. Still worth a browse...

Disorganized, cash only tough int his day and age

Sorry, but this place was just messy. I'm a fan of rummaging through stores to find something different, and they just had zero kind of layout plan; everything seemed everywhere. So if you go there for a hand blender, you will have to look through the full store to find one, and not just the kitchen gadgets area. Also, no one said hi or asked if I was looking for anything in particular or needed help, and there were a few people there working. Walked around the entire store, not one person even spoke to me. Gave it 2 stars because if you're a Budweiser beer drinker, they have some good nostalgic items for ya, otherwise they need some work on customer service and some form of a layout plan.

Hi Jason, I'm sorry you had a bad experience! Did you deal with Andrew the owner directly? Or did you deal with one of the vendors? We'd like to talk more to you about what happened so we can fix the situation if you're open to it.

Warning the owner is very sketchy and takes advantage of all of his customers steer clear from this store

Utter garbage, whole place smells like smoke, very sketchy. This place would probably not meet most peoples cleanliness standards. This place only takes cash which is quite strange and suspicious for such a large store. Again this place is absolutely disgusting and some of the items they are selling are questionable. Not worth your time, and they don't deserve your business. You're better off at the Goodwill or Savers.
