I have known Mark for over 10 years. I absolutely do not trust anyone else to handle the sale of my gold and silver jewelry. He is skilled and knowledgeable about all types of jewelry from scrap and costume to your finest 14k, 18k and 24k gold. My 89 year old mother, asked me to get the best price for the gold jewelry she no longer wanted. I visited several places in the Capital Region and Mark gave me the fairest price. Originally from Saratoga but now living in Florida, I am here visiting family. An elder relative passed away years ago and as the only family living in Florida, my husband and I took on the task of cleaning out her home. I had never seen so much jewelry in all my life - 95% of it being costume. I spoke to several antique/estate dealers in Florida and had I taken their advise, I would have just given it away. My sister, though, had told me about Mark and since we were driving up here, suggested that I bring up the shoebox full of jewelry. I did and yesterday we went to see him. It was such a pleasure to work with Mark. He was so patient and absolutely fair in his pricing. There was only one item that he couldn't purchase from me based on the material of the piece but otherwise, he bought everything that I brought in. I was absolutely thrilled and would highly recommend Mark to anyone and everyone. He is very trustworthy and seems to be a genuinely nice person.
