Nestled in the charming coastal town of Westhampton Beach, New York, Fauxtiques is an antique store that offers a truly distinctive shopping experience. The positive reviews from customers provide a glimpse into what makes Fauxtiques stand out.
According to customer Stefanie Saulon, the store is "filled with so many different craft items and beautiful unique lighting." Gai Jespersen, the store owner, is described as "an amazing woman and really knowledgeable about the items in her store." Saulon particularly enjoys visiting Fauxtiques to browse the store's selection of "beautiful antique candlestick holders."
The reviews also shed light on Gai Jespersen's approach to customer service. In response to a previous negative review, Jespersen acknowledged the challenges of running a small business, noting that "in this day and age you really need to keep in mind that people are stressed and you need to love the crazies." Despite a misunderstanding over the pricing of a specific item, Jespersen demonstrated her commitment to customer satisfaction by offering the item at a significantly discounted price, though the customer was ultimately unsatisfied.
Jespersen's dedication to her craft and her customers is further highlighted in Saulon's review, which praises her "amazing" qualities and her deep knowledge of the store's unique inventory. This attention to detail and personalized service appears to be a hallmark of the Fauxtiques experience.
The reviews paint a picture of a one-of-a-kind antique store where customers can discover a diverse array of craft items, lighting, and other vintage treasures, all while enjoying the expertise and hospitality of the store's passionate owner, Gai Jespersen.

This is in response to the review from 7 months ago In this day and age you really need to keep in mind that people are stressed and you need to love the crazies The incident in question happened MONTHS before COVID so why I should have been wearing a face mask is beyond me Yes, the person called and asked if I had a certain product in stock and I did, too bad she didn’t ask what size. I was basically giving the items away at 75% off BELOW cost. When she arrived and asked for it I pulled it out and gave her the price. She wanted it for the price of the smallest and this was two sizes larger. Cost was $350 (retail $695) I offered it to her for $50 but that wasn’t good enough for her. I’m truly sorry she was so unhappy and miserable over this incident but people, please ask questions before having a meltdown on a store owner who is trying their hardest to make a customer happy I guess it’s true - no good deed goes unpunished

This was the MOST HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE IVE RVER HAD. This woman FALSELY ADVERTISED a Product on Facebook Marketplace. I made arrangements to go there. I was told a price before hand and there was 1 left. I drove 35 miles to get to this far off Place in Westhampton. I get there. I’m waiting for over 15 minutes. There’s no one in her store. She comes out(no face mask); I said I drove out here to pick up the grid. She tells me she didn’t advertise it her friend did and there was no more there tgat size and she had a bigger one but wanted more $$ fir it. I asked her why she wouldn’t honor what I was messengering her about. She started using EXTREME PROFANITY & states” She didn’t FU care. She was obnoxious, rude, profanity beyond belief. I would NOT EVER USE GER IR RECOMMEND HE TO ANYONE EVER!! Despicable!!!!!! This is a business owner. Garbage!!!
