I hate to shop,but today I went to the new location of the Shoppe in Berea Ohio 188 Front Street looking for a unique gift. I was amazed this store is fantastic as everything from handmade jewelry to vintage wear it looks small from the outside but it is huge inside. If you are looking for the special gift this is the place.btw it is also 100 percent wheel chair accessable.

Great store has all kinds neat stuff, the guy that took care of me this morning bought different Incense he even found the one I was looking for was very helpful and so nice. I will recommend everyone to stop there, very clean place. It would be a great place to stop if your looking for gifts so many items.

This place has all you need for yourself, family and friends. Great for special gifts, beautiful jewelry, clothes and so much more. You have to stop. It will be memorable.

The Shoppe has been a favorite spot of mine since the '70s.  Recently stopped in to see the new digs while visiting family.  Enjoyed talking to Danielle who was friendly and helpful.  She packed our special find really well for the trip home!  Thank you kind lady!  Stop in, support local.

Stopped by for a wedding card. For a small place they have a pretty decent selection of cards to choose from.
I like to support small businesses as much as I can. The Shoppe is a great place to wander around and look at all the neat stuff they have to offer . My daughter loves the zodiac perfume they have for sale. Check it out. Youll have fun. Oh and the owner and employees are super nice people, too

This place has been an institution for years!  Reminds me of the old Quonset Hut.  Good crafts, concert t shirts, collectables, incense, even vinyl albums!  Very cool store, very nice people.  Good place to find a quirky gift or splurge on yourself if you like something like fancy tea.

Such an awesome place with a variety of unique trinkets, clothing, decoration and more. The staff were incredibly friendly.

The Shoppe has been wonderful staple in Berea forever. It moved down the street earlier this year. While it is in newer surroundings it still has that special "The Shoppe" feel! Russ was very welcoming. There are not many stairs to climb, not as many little rooms on different levels, but it still has that special feel. Many unique products  and a VW bus in the store!

So many things I wanted!! Got a gorgeous sweater and a shirt! Love this place

Love this place! I used to shop here when I was young and it hasn’t changed a bit! They have so much cool stuff and the staff is super friendly! Plus, Raisin the cute doggie is there to greet you! You definitely have to check out this quaint little shop in Berea if you are looking for unique gift items!

Nice to see the Shoppe in Berea still serving up laid back cool gifts, music and wearables. The staff is very friendly, local cool cultures college kids and not at all pushy. Even the staff pooch Raisin was very laid back. I’ve been shopping here since I was in high school in the 80’s, the wall of tees is no more, nor the weird back room of strange underwear. But still chock full of kooky kool things ! The incense wall is my favorite but the Halloween items recently stocked are worth the trip! I included them in my Fall 2023 review.

Jacob and Bella were so sweet and helpful to me tonight and even stayed a few minutes later to let me finish shopping. I appreciate both of you and can't wait to come back next time! Thank you so much!!!

Unusual finds, many things for dog and cat lovers, unique boutique type clothing,spiritual items; including incense, candles, books etc.Outdoor decor. Had a great time looking at everything here.Sales person was great,helpful, but never pushy sales type, very laid back atmosphere. Really like this store.

Cute little eclectic shop. Very nice helpful clerk. Lots of new age merchandise,  I'm not into it, but it was interesting to look at. I picked up a nice necklace for my wife at a reasonable price. Lots of rooms to wander around in and spend some time.

I just love this place.  It's a great place to find unique gift ideas.  And if you like it,  buy it cause everything is so one of a kind,  you probably won't find it again.  Plus the staff is beyond friendly!

That said its always a nostalgic place for me.
The newer owners (Mom and daughter team) have done a great job getting this adorable boutique more relevant over the last few years! They are always kind and welcoming. It's a great place for unique gift ideas. I would highly recommend stopping in.

My 9 yr old daughter and I visited this lovely store this evening.  There are soooooo many wonderful things to look at and experience!  Amazing vibes!!   The girls working there were so beautiful and kind hearted.  They were so sweet to my daughter!!  We will definitely be back soon!!!

Love, Love, Love this place.  I have been coming here for years.  It has always been a place that has lots of collectibles, specialty items,  clothing, music, etc....     This is a very fun store to cruise through and not your typical store either.  I always see something a little different each time I go.  I highly recommend everyone check this place out.

The staff are awesome and super helpful, Raisin(the dog) is really friendly, too! It might be a little pricey for somethings, but you get what you pay for. Will definitely be back.

A cute and quirky shop with all kinds of things from stained glass pieces, to jewelry and clothes, mugs and glasses, candles and incense, and LP vinyls and CDs. Rasin, the golden retriever, is an amazing door greater and does a great job checking in on the guests! Everyone is so friendly and helpful.

Love, love, love!!! A variety of items: jewelry, clothes, posters, backpacks, crystals, records, greeting cards, and a VERY adorable dog (I love Raisin!!!). Extremely friendly staff. I have only had great experiences here.

Only con I can think is that items are a bit pricier than a general brand-owned store.

I have been to this business and they have the most corteous and down to earth staff and you can find a lot of nice and hard to find things. The last time I visited- I was able to find the good and early editions of the NOW That's What I Call Music albums on disc and for a good price- before the current artists featured ruined the franchise and series of albums. And also there a lot of lower level items to look at which are really cool and I was able to purchase a few sandstone pieces which remind me of someone I love and care about. Definitely a good place to stop even to browse.

A friend told me about this place so when I was in the area I had to stop by & check it out! The whole store is like a work of art. & They truly have something for everyone. The clothing items are so unique & most look handmade, they had a wonderful selection of incense, candles, & other spiritual items. They have a little section for pet lovers & a beautiful selection of garden/outdoor accessories. & That's just the tip of the iceberg. I cannot wait to go back, it feels like there's always something new to discover here!!!

This place was so amazing! We accidentally came in close to close because we didn't realize the South Park mall closed at 7 and wanted to find a cool place to look around. They have so many interesting things (plus a super sweet shop dog!) And the ladies working were so kind! There are several different rooms filled with interesting finds!

I was there 2/8/20 after I got out of work. It was recommended by a friend at my job who works there and who's friend runs it normally. It was lovely, charming and very comforting. It is a cozy store with levels of knickknacks and trinkets just as the slogan under the sign says. The person who was running the store when I arrived was very kind and charming, which met my expectations considering I know someone who works there prior. Very lovely store and I cant wait to go back.

I have loved this place over 30 years! Bought my very first CDs here as a youngster in the late 80s/early 90s. Changed a bit over the years, but now run by a wonderful mother/daughter team! So many collectibles/figurines, unique clothing items, HUGE selection of incense, art, sculptures... I love visiting this Berea landmark and supporting local businesses. Plus the dog Raisin is an absolute sweetheart!

I've been shopping here for decades. Great place to buy artsy jewelry, boutique clothing, mobiles, candles, incense and tons of other cool stuff. The new owners have done a great job reconfiguring inside walkways, steps. They have an awesome store greeter, adorable dog Raisin. Get their frequent shopper card. Great place to find unusual gifts!

Eccentric little store. A great place to wander around and find some cool pieces. Definitely will be back, especially for gifts. I loved that they featured a lot of local stuff! They have clothes, trinkets, teas, and more. Reminded me of Asheville, NC.

First time there. Friendly staff, welcomed us right when we walked in and asked if we needed help during our shopping.  The store has a lot of unique items. Did not have time to look at everything. If you need a gift idea, this is the place. We even got to met Raisin the dog.

Love the place!  All kinds of collectibles for decorating your house.  Clothes,  jeans,  music & incense.  If you can't find at least something you like,  then I'm not sure what you like.  Great electic store!

Neat local shoppe for many different chic things. Staff and owners are friendly and helpful. Very well designed interior with lots and lots of character. Stop in and take a look; the tie die shirts are top notch.

Hi! I hope you will be pleased to hear we have moved locations a block over and our store is one level, ADA accessible. Very spacious but still full of gifts and clothing. Trying to spread the word, sad to see a 3 star review that impacts our small business immensely for something that is no longer current. 

Last time I was in there was 2010 and for a disabled person who has to walk with a cane, walker or rolling walker. I couldn't go into too many areas because it didn't have enough room to accommodate my medical helpers. Won't go back

Prices vary depending what you would like to purchase in our shop,  we have a huge variety of clothing and gifts priced low to high end that's selected for all clientele! Our staff is more than willing to help you find something you are looking for! 

Clean, well lit, very organized but geared toward 40 and under IMHO, and A bit pricey. Staff very pleasant and there is free street parking.

I am so sorry to hear this!! It's upsetting as I try my best to train my staff to help give a warm experience of accommodating customers needs. We have signs as precautions as there are a lot of easily breakable items in the store! As there are also a lot of easily items that have been stolen. We are currently working our best to train the staff to help accommodate customers without leaving the feeling of "watching them" we will take note and do appreciate the review regardless. I am sincerely sorry that the experience wasn't what you wished for based on our staff.

The store looks really cool and there's a ton of great stuff to buy. Unfortunately the staff is overly concerned about theft and follows you around the store making you feel uncomfortable. There are also a ton of signs stating "you break it you buy it", which left us all feeling unwilling to check out their products and want to spend money. We made a small purchase and left. Bummer, they really have a ton of beautiful products in their shop.

Hi Jeff, I see you are a "local guide" -One star responses hurts our business extremely over something that is simply not true. Our store in fact, has expanded in size so I'm not sure why you would leave this type of review. Maybe you did not explore our entire store... being a local guide I would hope you wouldn't jump to conclusions and intentionally hurt small businesses like us.

Hi, I am sorry you feel it is expensive as that is unusual to hear. We are a small business and I’ve personally met every artist or owner of company from tradeshows so I’m sorry you think the product you bought was from Marcs this is all confusing and untrue. May I ask who he is that you are referring to as ownership has changed well over 5 years ago. My employees have rules and there are if you break it you buy it signs because yes, accidents happen and yes, we can not babysit and children do break things so we recommend with 18 or younger MUST be accompanied by an adult signs… again we are a small business trying to make it in a big business world, times are hard. I am very understanding as my staff is too and depending the situation I will discount items if broken on accident and depending the situation… unfortunately I had to buy it for it to be in my store to begin with so can’t go around taking a loss for broken items or there will be no business. I’m sure you can understand. With that all been said, yes i have fragile items and accidents do happen, agreed hence the signs warning you.. sorry you’re unhappy about the item you purchased instead of the items you wanted. Glad to read you enjoyed our products regardless the review and confusion about the signs. 

I used to come in there with my mom as a child! Been wanting to stop in for a while! So after some garage sales and some dinner me and my friends stopped in! Well let me tell u not only is it expensive, but if ur clumsy or a child don’t go in! If u accidentally break something he will charge u! I bought a stupid little squirrel that i could have gotten at marcs for maybe $7, when in reality i was going to buy something more expensive! But at this point i will never go back in and unless u have the money to buy something(accidents happen) DONT GO IN!

The cashier was rude. Told me that a purchase with a card needs to be over $5, which is fine, but how she said it wasn't polite at all. Especially when I saw no sign stating it and she hadn't said anything to my cousin who also made a purchase under $5. I used to love going into The Shoppe when I was younger and browsing the unique things inside, but I'll probably never return.
